  1. I’d like to see Shady sign somewhere and be a 3rd down back.
  2. I’m glad we have some semblance of social And racial justice and advocacy going on, but it’s hard to have empathy for billionaires who get taxpayer funded stadiums. There’s no capital risk to owning an NFL team. Has a team gone bankrupt in the past 60 years? And if there is I guarantee you their owners took a better deal to move elsewhere.

  4. Josh Allen is either going to improve, regress or flatline. Long term he only sticks around if he improves. As a betting man I say there’s a greater chance he continues the upward trajectory. The year 1 to year 2 jump was notable. Allen seemed more poised and confident operating in the pocket. The next step in his evolution is harnessing his rocket arm and connecting more on deep balls, while taking the Brady approach and carving teams up by taking what the defense gives him. Allen has the size, arm talent and brains to succeed. Things should continue to slow down, and process faster. Expect to see another big jump.
  5. 8 games seems more plausible. 4 home / 4 away. Expanded playoffs to include top 8 teams in each conference. No byes. 4 possible playoff games.
  6. An honest attempt to add depth behind Allen. Career stats indicate a lack of superior talent to compete at the NFL level due to lack of arm strength. All of Fromm’s strengths are Allen weaknesses (accuracy, conservative risk taker). Allen has superior athleticism, arm strength, running ability. I love looking at stats from College in wins and losses. Fromm’s college stats are impressive. His performance in losses, indicate he’ll struggle against superior NFL talent. I see Nate Peterson 2.0 level talent, size nearly same height, weight, arm strength, but I think Fromm is a bit less of a risk taker & would function well as a backup and ability to come in and game manage the team to a few wins if necessary.
  7. Gore age 36 had a better than Shady at age 31. McCoy was a shifty back who when he lost that cutting ability fell off a cliff as he was unable or unwilling to take the one cut and a plow forward style runs. Looking at abnormal long term success for backs in the NFL it appears the backs that are higher mass & utilize a one cut style last longer and are more desirable.
  8. Yes because Brees & Brady aren’t retiring in 2020. Big Ben & Rivers look to be coming back too. Additionally there aren’t any QBs predating Eli who are currently waiting for the HoF that have as many passing yards, wins, games played & are two time Super Bowl MVPs. Eli is a shoe-in first ballot Hall of Famer.
  9. The Bills are one good FA & draft away from being a force. I don’t doubt Allen won’t continue to improve. The future is bright.
  10. Allen made it to the playoffs & nearly pulled off a road upset. Allen is also you get than Wilson was his rookie year. I believe Wilson was 24, and Allen was 23. Allen has a ton of time in front of him. He just needs to improve his decision making, mechanics and accuracy. Oh and learn to slide.
  11. It’s interesting to think what Allen could do with a DK Metcalf big WR. There’s a case to be made that the Bills simply need to find that #1 WR & #1 TE and the offense should be able to generate another TD per game. Assuming we can do find some more weapons & a big bruising back like Henry we could be a juggernaut in 2020.
  12. When we were down 3-35 against the Oilers there was lots of slumped shoulders. If I recall Watkins wasn’t the one dropping passes, I believe that was that Robinson guy. Probably mad he wasn’t targeted more.
  13. O’Brien doesn’t go for it on 4th & 1, but goes for a fake punt. Idiot
  14. Texans doing their best Josh Allen.
