Suggestion to the NFL... Given the extenuating circumstances posed by the Corona Virus, it is recommended that you increase the practice squad from 12 to 16 players for the 2020 season. While not a perfect solution, this will make up for the compressed schedules to coach and evaluate players. Expanded Practice Squad will provide some career opportunity to players who are on the bubble if only for the need for more evaluation time. (related note: Practice Squad is 14 players starting in 2022)

The Bills' suddenly deadly WR corps
boater replied to Inigo Montoya's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It's dependent on Josh Allen's summer project: fix the long ball. I know he had plans to tr4ain with others, I hope the COVID didn't stop that. -
You do realize we'll be trying to re-sign Josh Allen the same contract year. give or take? PS: new TV deals have to go through a layer of negotiation to be become official salary cap numbers. And there is this new thing called the COVID fan-less (reduced revenue season) season that's a real possibility. I'm glad fans don't run the team.

For some reason, this resonates with me. -
That's a good take on this. I agree. Beane is good, but he's also lucky. A good and lucky GM, we deserve it.

OMG, that would be so sweet. This place would be lit up.

For those unawares of the commercial, that still makes me laugh. And the Coneheads version which I don't remember on the air.

I used legalzoom.com for a trademark. Mixed results. Price was right. More important than the trademark--have you done a Limited Liability Corporation (LLC)? This protects you if someone sues your balls off if something bad happens with one of your products. There are many good ones, I used legalzoom for my LLC, it worked fine.

WHat are you doing with the Stimulus money?
boater replied to unbillievable's topic in Off the Wall Archives
I live in a house built in 1937 with separate H & C water valves for the shower that don't work well anymore. They oscillate the water temp throughout your shower. I'm going to hire a plumber to install a modern mixing valve. Keeps the money local. -
Article: McDermott Concerned about PSE Dysfunction
boater replied to Coach Tuesday's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Pegs had a PSE meeting in February and reportedly told the staff his goals: championships sustainability profit Standard business operations and goals. The sole source in the article described it as a "punch to the gut." Come on, toughen up cupcake. Who did you think you were working for? A charity? God we've raised a bunch of gutless snowflakes. This is an irresponsible non-story. Just stirring it up for clicks. McDermmott won't let this affect the game on the field. But yes, the Sabres suck. ..and posters hinting McD might leave are just nuts. -
My parents were ancient in the 60's when they called it "Sears and Roebuck" I clearly remember the store at Main & Delevan, which is now Canisius College.

and the Layoffs begin @ Pegula Sports

Wowzer. There are many misconceptions about rich people in this thread. (disclaimer: I am not rich, but I do know some) Maybe that's a Buffalo thing. In regard to the Sabres, Kim is no better and no worse than any other team President. Their current predicament is a result of the the utter lack of any available executive talent in the NHL.Botteril and what's-his-name were the only names from a an extremely shallow pool to draw from. We're paying the price. Also, they aren't selling the Sabres. They have an integrated investment in downtown Buffalo real estate. The Sabres are a key piece to that. They aren't selling. Being deep pocket billionaires: with the Arabs flooding the market with cheap oil combined with the current lockdown economy, Pegs mineral riches are deeply gouged. They have to be as thrifty with every dollar as Joe Schmoe on the street. That includes layoffs. If it weren't for the Pegulas we wouldn't have an NFL and NHL team to B word about.
