Kraft Prosecution Must Be a Patriots Hater !!
boater replied to T master's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Kraft video will be the new gross. It will be the new TBD Peter Pan gag. I, for one, will not be Rick-rolled into clicking on it. -
Buffalo Niagara Airport best medium sized airport.

Try JetBlue's flight 491 and 492 -- Nonstop LAX<-->BUF. We use those flights often. -
Kroft will be the first test case as to all the healing doodads and gizmos in the new training complex. Did I read there was a hypobaric device? That could accelerate fracture healing. EDIT UPDATE: Yes the training center has a hypobaric room.

I read it as Kraft Breaks Foot - - - what's the old bugger up to now?

I expect fewer interceptions this year. He tried to be the hero when far behind scorewise; to wit his throws into coverage and failure to use checkdown. Expect closer scores, less heroics. He has better targets. He'll have more time. I expect he's done something this offseason to improve accuracy.

When I use the airport, I'm in and out like a hot knife through butter. I'm a happy flyer. Now they're doing an $80mil remodel to "improve" access. Improve what? Must be nice to have $80mil burning a whole in your pocket and fix things that aren't broken. -

She doesn't pass the mandatory test: how will she look in a Bills jersey? Pass. -

Sports 101 -- You're never as good as they say you are; and you're never as bad as they say you are. Edit Update, It was said by Lou Holtz: You're never as good as they say you are when you win; and you're never as bad as they say you are when you lose. -
Why doesn't this website update last year's schedule?

Why doesn't OP volunteer to help? -

Which of these do we need to retire first?
boater replied to Kirby Jackson's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I'm not offended by any of the three. I particularly like McBean because it's handy shorthand. Much better than typing McDermott and Beane. -
His suit.. forget about it. His arm candy.. that's alright.

Calling it now: Zay Jones will not be on the week 1 roster.

Poor Zay, 34 pages of comments about his ultimate demise. -
Josh Allen and the “Show Gun Offense”
boater replied to BringBackFergy's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
In serious response to OP... Jim Kelly spent his first two seasons with the USFL Houston Gamblers, it was there he learned how to read defenses and make adjustments at the line of scrimmage. Then he entered the NFL and eventually learned to read and then skewer NFL defenses. Another good QB followed a similar path.. Kurt Warner did time in the Arena League and then NFL Europe.. then entered to NFL and eventually became a prolific passer. Point being, becoming a great QB takes time and experience. Expecting a Jim Kelly like ability to call plays at the line of scrimmage and "Show Gun" from a second year Josh, regardless of Wonderlic, is a road to disappointment. Josh needs time to grow, I hope Bills fans are patient. Having said that, I expect big things from a 3rd or 4th year Josh.. including no-huddle play calling. -
I'm starting to get uncomfortable with all the optimism and high expectations around here. We are chock full of player talent--but many are new to each other and the system. They'll need time to gel as a unit. The coaches are pretty much the same coaches as last year. You could view that as a positive in the continuity department, or you could view that as a negative in that their 2018 performance was meh. Josh Allen is good no doubt. But it's too early to anoint him a great. He's going to make second year mistakes. He needs time as well. I'm optimistic, though on a slower schedule than others around here.

I'll work on this as soon as I figure out if it's Laurel or Yanny

How do you feel about the Bills right now in 2019?
boater replied to Another Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
2019: the on field talent is there, will the coaches get the most of this talent? I'd say the Bills coaching staff is average on a good day. I don't know... can average coaches with superior players lead to more wins? Or do you need a red hot coaching staff to increase the win column? As an armchair commentator, I'd say 2018 McDermott was average as a game day coach. As the roster improved, can 2019 McDermott improve his performance on game day? -
New O-Line; From 31st to top 5 in one off season?
boater replied to Inigo Montoya's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I agree with OP's original sense; though I add a slower timeline. From my fan experience, it seems that offensive line players take time to gel together. If you do a change out on offensive line.. it will take sometime for the new guy to synch up and get used to each other. When you change multiple positions in one training camp (seems likely here) the problem is amplified. I hope fans are patient when the starting unit may not be up to speed the first four of five games this year. I expect a Top-5 offensive line in 2020. We'll see glimpses of it in late 2019.
