  1. Ambien and liquor will do that to you. Ambien alone does it for some people.
  2. lolz, if Josh Allen turns out to his potential, our QB 4 years from now will be Jake Fromm State Farm.
  3. If the COVID epidemic taught me anything, the primary lesson learned is: experts and their models and simulations are generally bull.
  4. lolz... you may be closer to the truth than you realize. Why build a palace stadium when the TV contract is most of your revenue? It's nice to have the Chargers pissing off the NFL more than the Bills.
  5. Whether this "portends well" is debatable. But it is certainly meaningful in one way or another. Buffalo is susceptible to price overruns on major construction (why would be a discussion for PPP). But you know costs overruns must be clearly on the mind of major players (Pegula's, Poloncarz, Cuomo) when they are looking at all the alternatives.
  6. Fingers crossed that JA can fix his long ball over the summer.
  7. Semi-off topic: I just ordered Mufaletta Olive salad from Amazon. It will be here Monday. I can't wait. Off topic because it's a marinade, not pickled.
  8. I see someone already replied to the effect of: kick the tires, sign to a vet minimum prove-it deal, git er done. I'm mean he's a high motor with a nose for the ball process guy.
  9. lol What a great idea! That's something never done here.
  10. That we're comparing teams 20 years apart is a sad sign of futility that Bills fans have had to endure.
  11. Beane... the best GM since John Butler (RIP)
  12. No problem with PR. I googled and he seems like a kind of Bills fan who can be everyone's friend. He even has a wikipedia page. It's just that the condiment dousing... blech. Shots out of the bowling bowl is cool though.
  13. Regardless of how scheduling goes down, can we do it without national coverage of the dude who douses himself in ketchup and mustard?
  14. I think there is a good chance Brady bombs in Tampa. But it won't be him failing outside Belichicks system, it will be due to the fact he's 42 years old. We some physical decline last year, it only gets worse. As to the OP: I won't convince you the Pats are good. I could convince you the Pats are average--and average teams can be dangerous.
  15. You tuna a piano but you can't tuna fish. @cowgirls recipe is very similar to mine. The kids like the hard boiled egg. That my kids like hard boiled eggs freaks me out a bit.
  16. Probably zero effect. The NFL can only effect sales in the stands, It would be up to the county to suppress alcohol use in the parking lots.
  17. I fell for it. No shame I guess. At least I didn't click on some Peter Pan link.
  18. Suggestion to the NFL... Given the extenuating circumstances posed by the Corona Virus, it is recommended that you increase the practice squad from 12 to 16 players for the 2020 season. While not a perfect solution, this will make up for the compressed schedules to coach and evaluate players. Expanded Practice Squad will provide some career opportunity to players who are on the bubble if only for the need for more evaluation time. (related note: Practice Squad is 14 players starting in 2022)
  19. It's dependent on Josh Allen's summer project: fix the long ball. I know he had plans to tr4ain with others, I hope the COVID didn't stop that.
  20. Yeah. And regardless of salary cap increases, spending like drunken sailors still isn't the formula for franchise success, much to the chagrin of armchair GMs. Edit2: ask a Redskins fan, Cleveland fan or Philly fan how foolish spending has worked for them. At least Philly has some result to show.
  21. You do realize we'll be trying to re-sign Josh Allen the same contract year. give or take? PS: new TV deals have to go through a layer of negotiation to be become official salary cap numbers. And there is this new thing called the COVID fan-less (reduced revenue season) season that's a real possibility. I'm glad fans don't run the team.
  22. We should file a class action lawsuit for malpractice against the Texans and Rams front offices. lol Sadly, Tre Davious White will now be a one and done contract, along the lines of Stephon Gilmore.
  23. Continuity is a big thing in the legal profession.
  24. For some reason, this resonates with me.
