Verizon FIOS will be in dispute with Sinclair Broadcast Group in 2024
boater replied to Saxum's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yeah... I got the Amazon email yesterday that they are adding commercials starting on 29 January. I was on the fence as to whether I wanted to continue Prime. Now that they are adding commercials, I may cancel. I think there will be a shakeout in the streaming industry soon. They are all charging too much and people are already stressed by inflation. Something's gotta break. -
Does the Bills Fan Base Need to Cut Miller Some Slack?
boater replied to Rich Stadium Original's topic in The Stadium Wall
Probably too late to recommend, and you likely are looking for something in-stock... but I highly recommend https://betamarineusa.com/ they use very reputable Kubota engines. I used them on my boat. -
It's a bummer that Floyd was signed to a one-year contract and will be a FA. Hopefully, he re-ups with the Bills.

Who has a bigger problem? the Broncos with Wilson (5 yrs/$245 mil) or, the Bills with Von Miller (6 yrs/$120 mil) Seems to me that the Broncos have the much bigger problem. Though, neither position is enviable.

I hope so. I expected the Cowboys to as well. I guess wishful thinking caused me to fall for a false prophet.

I was in the service, we took all kinds of precautions, lots of "workgroups" and other melodrama. I woke up at 0030 and looked out the window, everywhere had power on and nothing was in flames. I checked the phone, it had a dial tone. "It was all BS" I said to myself and went back to bed.

Fire McDermott, and statistically speaking, you're more likely than not, hiring the next Brandon Staley.

Jaylen Waddle - high ankle sprain (updated - ruled out vs Ravens)
boater replied to BillsFan619's topic in The Stadium Wall
I won't have to watch that stupid Waddle end zone celebration again? Priceless. -
Playoff Lenny should be active rest of year...

5 carries for 20 yards. He did "OK' ..not great, just OK. Though, I am intrigued by his above average ball security stats. -
I get the impression that the NY Times simulator isn't very sophisticated. I tried googling to see what the algorithm might be, but I couldn't find anything.

Here is something positive---Joe Brady made a successful running game adjustment during the game. Why is that notable? Because Brady is a quarterbacks/passing game coach by training. Despite that, he had the wherewithal to diagnose and fix a running game problem mid-game. The run is important to him. Contrast that to Ken Dorsey the famed QB and QB coach--the running game was a secondary importance to him. His fix to everything was more Allen/Diggs. Dorsey was all about the passing to the neglect of everything else while Brady is the well-rounded coordinator.

Are there non-pivotal moments in football? I kinda thought the whole game was important.

I hope Khalil Mack isn't especially motivated to show Buffalo what they passed on.

I don't care how bad the Chargers are, I'm still anxious about this game.

Yeah, this was a great pickup. Beane is underrated. Rasul Douglas was another great pickup. And Beane's draft picks are starting to pan out: Cook and Kincaid come to mind, but others as well.

An oldie. The entire cast of "Family Affair" in the 1960s. Buffy, Jody, Cissy, and especially Mr French.. all of them--detestable.

We think. We have no way of knowing at all. Fournette hasn't faced game-time intensity and contact since last year. Who knows if he has the burst, strength, and reflexes still. That's why I'd like to see him play Saturday. Better we learn what we have ahead of time rather than experiment in the playoffs.

DeSantis For President in 2024?
boater replied to Trump_is_Mentally_fit's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
I wish the Republicans would do something about Obama Care. I just shopped the exchange for a 23-year-old's policy. It was $400 a month with high deductibles. Outrageous. Affordable Care my azz. -
I'd wait until the off-season. Sam Martin is settled in as holder right now. I wouldn't want to disrupt that chemistry this close to the playoffs.

I'm not normally a "fire him" type of guy, but I have to say: we need a new special teams coach. 12 men on the field, and KO coverage lapses come to mind. And the Bills sorely need a speedy return man. They got nothing. When Hines is recuperated, will he have his speed back? I don't know. And Matt Araiza would be a nice upgrade to Sam Martin. Almost anything will be an upgrade to Martin.

Now can we stop getting reports of how well Moss and Singletary are doing, as if we shouldn't have let them go?
