  1. There you go. There's always one negative nelly in the group ?
  2. It's a rebuild. 2018 was phase 1. I'm impressed with what was achieved with the lack of offensive talent that we had, the hopes in our OL with Wood and Incognito dropping out, the lack of cap space. I love that Beane did not compromise and stayed the course, found some young cheap talent like Foster and Coach got the team to develop and improve. For me this year was a success. I've read so much negative stuff this year I'm just tired of it. I've been Bills fan since the 80's and I saw how the Superbowl teams were built. Finally after all the horrible years we are doing things the right way. So happy and optimistic about where this team is going. There is more tasks to be done and more pieces to add but this year was a success.
  3. I have to admit it that my opinion has changed. I honestly had a lot of doubts about his maturity and frankly was concerned that he'd struggle with adversity. Boy was I wrong!!!
  4. The ream is ridiculously young and has no depth. Major growth happened this year from key members of our team. From Allen to Edmunds we've got some of the pieces you need to be special. The point of the original poster is that there is every reason to be optimistic about next year looking at the development of the players and the manner in which the organization is being managed. AFC Offensive player of the week aside our QB who many pundits predicted was a bust continues to grow and make plays. You can focus on the pick 6 while the rest of us celebrate the 5 tds
  5. He wants the supposed leaders to lead. It's not that complicated. They should be more active on the sidelines helping, talking to guys, celebrating anything positive. You want guys involved. There was a clip from McD from the preseason when he showed two good plays, one offense and one defense. On the defense one all the guys all piled in and celebrated. The offense one one the celebrations (if there was one) was muted. He called out the offensive guys and told them the defensive guys have it right. HE made it a point pf emphasis. That's how we end up with a Matt Barkley celebrating on the sidelines a Josh Allen QB sneak. I have no problem with TC calling out Fournette for lack of leadership and contributing to the dumpster fire that the Jags are
  6. True most of the time, but Coughlin always does if he's not getting the results behind the curtains. He had issues publicly with Strahan while at the Giants. Seemed to work itself out just fine. BB and TC are both high discipline guys. BB is better at not letting things get public but it does happen. Just go back to Butler in the Superbowl.
  7. Tom has won 2 Superbowls. He knows that players need to be disciplined to win. Belicheat is the same way. The game hasn't passed Coughlin that team has a bad culture and he's going to change that.
  8. If we can get someone better then absolutely. He's certainly hasn't performed at a level where he is safe. I'm just liking that the team reacts to guys like Kiko. Just like in the Jags game the guys won't let themselves get pushed around especially in their own house.
  9. He was ejected because he went straight for Kiko. I love that he did that and I think the refs just didn't want to eject 2 Dolphins and no Bills. So the choices were 1 player or 3 and they chose 3. I'm fine with him being ejected and I like him more because he did what he did. The team is getting tougher under McD.
  10. It was. After he got the 9 yards I was hoping that they'd give him the ball again to get the 1 yard and the first down.
  11. Yes. It's happening too many times with this guy. They need to send him a message in a clear and easy to comprehend manner. After all he's not the smartest tool in the shed.
  12. I'm really not sure that they'll trade away many picks for players. They are building a team and seem to be just fine with a young roster that they can mold. Plus some of the older vets haven't worked out so well.
  13. A flagrant throw of the ball is way too open to human interpretation, just like intentional grounding. I don't want another rule that can be unevenly applied put in place to benefit teams like the Patriots.
  14. Well done @Hebert19 This could be the best post I've ever read on this site. Perfect summary of the crazy views on every QB we've had. We want them until we have them and we rip them apart. Great post
  15. This may be the first time I've read a post on this board where the knock on the QB is he needs to find the check down occasionally ?
  16. Next year prepare for a feast.
  17. Fair point. Honestly though I think too much stock is placed in QBR. I like to see if we won or lost. We won with Allen and if you break down the game he was a big reason why we won.
  18. Does the 7 catches include balls that should have been caught?
  19. Another reason to feel good about the direction of this team. When we win it was a team effort & we lose a game the guy who is the only reason we had even a chance, shoulders the blame, doesn't point fingers, says he could have done more. Then there's Jalen Ramsey who just talks..... https://www.democratandchronicle.com/videos/sports/football/nfl/bills/2018/12/02/josh-allen-blames-himself-buffalo-bills-loss-miami-dolphins/2185959002/
  20. But just buying talent doesn't always work. Just ask the Redskins
  21. Money can't, but talent and team culture will. I have no doubt that we'll add the talent and this team doesn't back down. Playoffs 2019 baby!!!
  22. There's a lot of game film showing that it's not just one ref. Bout time the NFL did something. I'd pay to watch that 45 seconds. Jerry wouldn't waste any time. In all seriousness, I kinda like the way this team is starting to show some real aggression. Two weeks in a row their still fighting mad in the tunnel. Coach may really be onto something about the guys not backing down.
  23. I'm thinking Rodgers eye sight isn't what it was. I mean how else can you explain moving from Olivia Munn to Danica Patrick.
