I think the issue was that it wouldn't be a good idea to share the plan. Getting panicked because there might not be a plan when FA has barely begun seems a little extra.

I think this has to do with bringing in leadership on the offensive. Lorax even commented on how young that side of the team is and how there is maybe a little more develped leadership on the defensive side of the ball. Bringing in a guy like Gore for 1 year will help in that area.

In an industry known for their disdain for honesty, Drew Rosenhaus makes other sports agents look like Honest Abe Lincoln. No way I'd take his word on anything.

I'm not convinced that it's based on whether the team is in rebuild mode or not. I think he'd happily go the the Giants or the Jets. I think he wants the money and a big market city. I do agree with you though that the deal may get resurrected. His agent can take him through the whole TO saga from a first hand experience and maybe he'll see that he's damaging his long term earning potential.

All I know is I'm feeling relieved. AB is a great receiver but I'm not so sure that he's fit in in Buffalo. He's looking more for more of a Hollywood feel with his masked singer and dancing with the stars resume. I'm glad Beane ended it with his statement this morning. Happy to see him focusing on getting us someone who fits the locker room culture and isn't going to be a distraction. It says something that a guy like AB hasn't been snapped up already. Imagine if Julio Jones or Hopkins were available, no way it'd be dragging on like this.

I'd be too concerned to risk using the #9 pick on him. The talent level he'll face in the NFL is way higher than college. A one dimensional WR will be chucked at the line of scrimmage and the DC will roll the safety over for support. There's a lot of quality WRs in this draft. I'm not convinced that in 5 years we'll be viewing DK as the best WR from this draft class.

I'd have to go with TJ since DK performed so badly on the tests for ability to change direction. The cone drills and 20 yard shuttle really showed some holes in his game. This graph is awesome. Those are some really glaring holes in his game. Kinda reminds me of that "Trouble with the Curve" movie. Does anyone know if graphs like these are available for the other WRs?

I don't entirely disagree with you but I'd roll the dice on him late day 2 or early day 3. The guy was a clear 1st rounder before the injury. We've seen top tier RB's perform well for the Bills who we drafted after a college ACL tear. Thurman and McGahee both went on to long and productive careers. This is not meant to be an endorsement of McGahee's character ?

If Wade was on the list he'd get all the votes with the possible exception of the troll who voted for Mularkey. Cause if he was there's be a guy worth choosing ? The poll would be a lot less interesting.

As a fan it's one of my favorite times of the year. Had to laugh at all the positions that there was a lot of depth at in this years draft ?
