I'd never have known that from all the trade everyone comments that are all over this site ? -

Nope, they have standards, they'll take a repeat domestic violence offender but never someone who kneels peacefully -

I'd offer up Barkley -
Time to start suspending Refs

You clearly a fan of Spinal Tap and turning the dial to 11 ? Personally there should be a pay scale. Calling a fair game gets you points, calling an uneven game loses you points. The number of points you have determines your base salary and which games you get to call. You lose too many points you don't get any games to ref. -
Time to start suspending Refs

Personally I think the Pegulas should create a video highlighting the inconsistencies in refereeing. Some of the soft calls that Brady gets versus the hits Allen took to the head yesterday. How some players get calls when they are tackled heading out of bounds and others don't even when they are tackled 2-3+ feet out of bounds. They say that good teams don't let bad or no calls beat them but that's a lot easier to say when your routinely benefiting from the refs decisions. Hearing a commentator say that Allen hasn't earned those calls yet is an acknowledgement that the ruleset is not evenly applied. -
You might be right Yoda ?

65 points in the last 2 games. Personally I believe that there are signs that it's beginning to click. Jacksonville have a pretty good defense and we put up 24. It deserves more time to mature especially with the youth on this team.

I love all the recommendations of bringing in a guy and adding talent as the solution and that McD is the issue. Maybe we just continue to add talent and let McD continue to do his thing. Next year we have picks and $$$$. KB will be gone and we'll get a comp pick there as well. The team is progressing in all 3 phases, even with the two babes I'd pass and let the process continue to progress.

Doug Marrone, "obviously" trifecta.

All I know is there's nothing boring about a post game press conference when your coach comes out with blood from a brawl on his hoodie. Favorite line got to be: “Part of it’s mine and part of it’s probably a little bit from the scrum there. We’ll take it,” Can you imagine Dick Jauron ever having a presser like that? Love the culture that's forming. -
Sure there will be bumps this year and the train may come off the rails but how can you not be excited by the glimpses this kid is showing. I love the cannon arm and his self confidence. Being doubted and having to earn every opportunity ever since high school should really help him if he struggles early in his career. I'm excited with the way he slings the ball. There were a couple of throws where the velocity was simply extraordinary.

PFF Has Hughes Highest Rated

That was the only knock I had on him. He'd get over emotional and draw flags. This year he's really been channelling the emotion positively. -
The next 6 games... I expect

It comes down to lack of effort. KB is running out of time.

How Would You Handle Our Current Season?

I'd hire Beane back give and let the man do his thing, then take all the credit when the process works. -
What else do you want McD to say about a player that's on the roster. Come on, lets be fair here. We needed him this week. He was the only healthy guy to serve as backup.

John Harbaugh & Ravens to part ways?
ProcessAccepted replied to Buftex's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
That was my first thought. They'll need to find someone to replace Greg Williams since he's received 147 other job offers already this week. Seriously though I'll be shocked if Cleveland doesn't promise him the farm to get him. -
Here's my point. The guys are working through a complete overhaul. That's what it is. They are making this team younger, fixing the impending cap issues, defining the culture. It's a massive undertaking. All I know is whenever I'm doing a big job, having people stand around and watch and comment is really draining. "Oh you missed a spot" type of comments are not helpful. Shady even mentioned the negativity in the presser yesterday and you can tell he wasn't thankful for it. Give the man some time to do his job. There were plenty of people on this board critical about Milano earlier in the year, those people aren't talking now. Instead of piling on about the QB situation why not comment on when he's doing about it. They went out and got Barkley 13 days ago and he played a great game. Why all the negativity when the guys are just doing their job. If building a top notch roster was that easy there'd be 31 of them in the league (Miami would still F it up ?) I'm looking at our team being the #1 defense in the league week 10 after the hardest part of our schedule just ended. Yesterday I saw guys really play, the O-Line did great. Zay Jones had a day and Foster looked good

This is my prediction. They won't be consistent but they'll show growth Next year they will be a lot better due to the added experience and added talent. They'll be very consistent and competitive by the end of the year. They may be a wildcard or just miss the playoffs. 2020 they will be a SB favorite and a lot of the folks on here talking crap about players coaches GMs and owners will say they always were on board and never doubted. That's how I see the process working out.
