#Receipts on the Chris Ivory signing
ProcessAccepted replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I will admit it, even though I'm a big supporter of the process I thought they might have made a mistake bringing in Ivory. I was wrong, very happy we have him!! -
Josh Allen: A fawn in headlights
ProcessAccepted replied to Wayne Arnold's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Relax and give the kid a chance to learn. Remember the whole debate, let him learn from the bench vs learn on the field. This is learning on the field, you have to give the kid a chance to learn. -
Josh Allen Nominated for Rookie of the Week
ProcessAccepted replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Honestly I don't think Josh Allen cares. The win and the us against the world feeling in that locker room seems to be enough. A single week's rookie award is nice but I imagine he's got bigger things in mind. -

The cap situation McBeane inhereted
ProcessAccepted replied to Batman1876's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Well said. The only thing you've missed about the uneducated fans are the constant calls for firing people. They are doing the right thing and sucking it up and fixing things cap wise this year. It's going to be a long year especially with all the uneducated posters and threads about firing everyone. -
Vontae Davis is going to regret his decision.Who does that? See out the game and retire on Monday. I don't think you can expect respect from anyone when you do something like that. On the other side, Josh Allen really showed potential. He made a bunch of rookie mistakes but you really can see him growing. As someone who thought he should learn from the bench, I'm ready to admit that I was wrong. The kid is definitely tough enough to start now and learn the hard way. Another loss but a better performance from week 1.

McBeane's way of rebuilding makes no sense
ProcessAccepted replied to Jerry Jabber's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Honestly I just disagree with the basic tenet or your argument. I understand that there is really no way you are open to a different point of view, so I would even bother. I'll happily agree to disagree and send you on your way. -
McBeane's way of rebuilding makes no sense
ProcessAccepted replied to Jerry Jabber's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
No I didn't, but I'm talking more about improvement in that area game upon game as we go through the season. This is nothing like the Dick Jauron experience. What part of cleaning house do you not understand. We have over $50m in dead cap space, of course that is going to have an impact as to the product on the field. This year is going to suck but there is an end in sight. Let's check in and see what you are saying 18 months from now. -
McBeane's way of rebuilding makes no sense
ProcessAccepted replied to Jerry Jabber's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
They've cleared out a lot of the players that didn't fit their vision, now we just have to suffer through the dead cap hit this year. It won't be fun but it'll be alright. The only thing that I really want to see this year is evidence that the current roster play improving. If the coaching staff can build that fight till the bitter end mentality we'll be in great shape when they start adding talent. -
Who Starts At QB For Week 2? (Poll)

Your rebuttal of my point would be relevant if I had said anything relating to offense. However I didn't. -
Who Starts At QB For Week 2? (Poll)

I wish we had Peterson. That's right the defense sucked when he was here ? I hate Marrone just as much as the next Bills fan but when you've been a head coach two times and you have a top tier defense two times there just may be a legit argument to be made that defenses on his teams are very good. Let's be honest... -
Darby trade already one of the worst in Bills history
ProcessAccepted replied to Yeezus's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Don't let this distract you from the the fact that in 1966, Al Bundy scored four touchdowns in a single game while playing for the Polk High School Panthers in the 1966 city championship game versus Andrew Johnson High School, including the game-winning touchdown in the final seconds against his old nemesis, Bubba "Spare Tire" Dixon.- 136 replies

People who weren't around to remember this stuff need to learn how to Google things like this. There's another thread going on about Peters and cursing Ralph about being cheap. SMH. -

I don't know about that one. The drought being over means a lot to most of us. -
SI: John Elway is Looking for Himself
ProcessAccepted replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Agreed, a good GM doesn't get to keep the job purely based on historical achievements. He did turn the organization around when he took over. I think they were 4-12 the year before. I think they give him a little time to repeat that performance. Teams tend to go up and down as rosters age. I want to point out that I'm not even a fan of the man. Personally I think he's a total c-word. Much happier with us having Beane ? -

I like what they are doing. They got themselves in a little bit of a hole grade wise with the whole Rex Ryan thing (and allowing Rob Ryan to come in) and blowing up that defense Marrone had created with Jim Schwartz. Got to give them a solid B at this stage but they're trending upwards. I like what I'm seeing currently and with the money and picks we have next year I'm getting really optimistic again.
