Josh Allen's hurdle wins GMFB's play of the year
ProcessAccepted replied to sven233's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Agreed!! Another thing that bothered me was Nate Burleson kept adding "for no touchdown" after the Josh Allen Hurdle, but the Mahomes no look pass was his best play of the year. oh and also for no touchdown. Go vote and get the win and give Nate the finger -

Lets bring this home for Buffalo!!! If you need any extra incentive Don't let a Titan beat us especially after the forward lateral. -
Seems like our politician has already made up his mind on the matter. I'm sure he's not just giving us a personal opinion and has studied the matter in depth. Let the Pegula's finish the study, and make an informed decision. It just seems that New Era is turning into a money pit will all the money that's being spent each year without make any significant progress.

Small school big talent RB
ProcessAccepted replied to Tipster19's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
On this the 1st day of April I'd like to suggest expanding the notion of considering players who play and dominate at lower levels of competition. With players like Jimmy Graham and Antonio Gates starting out as basketball players before dominating as TEs, I really think we should keep our eye on this kid -
Poyer meets Bills legendary RB

Horrible photoshop job. Not even sure why someone would bother to do this but since they did I would expect a little better quality. -

Is the Le'Veon Bell signing over-hyped?
ProcessAccepted replied to Peace Frog's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Oh a pro athlete saying that they are happy with their deal so all is well ? Just because it was the best deal he could get doesn't mean that he's happy about it. Let's revisit this at the end of the season and see if he's happy. -

For sure he's a really good and talented running back. That said I'd be concerned about his temperament. One of his major issues with the Steelers was his pay check, and moving to the Jets didn't get that addressed. When the season starts if he or the Jets are struggling then I'd bet he'll be back whining and complaining. -
Crap. He's fallen behind Mahomes. Time to circle the wagons and show them what the Bills Mafia is all about. Get Voting!!!

She was also going on about how Josh Rosen was put in the worst situation of any rookie QB and how if he's traded to the Giants that he's going to be great. She did concede that Rosen had a stud running back but forgot about Larry Fitz. I thought the rumor was that Rosen was the most Pro ready QB in the draft last year. Personally I think our line was at least as bad and our WR corp wasn't leaded either. You throw enough darts at the dart board you'll eventually hit the bulleye I guess.

Watching GMFB and you can tell they're hoping Mahomes pulls it out. Hope we ruin their day. Side note: Kay Adams also was going on about Rosen having the worst situation of any QB in the league ?. She did concede that he had a stud running back. He also had Larry Fitzgerald. No way his situation was worse that Allen's except Allen was able to make things happen.

New Stadium Talk as of owner’s meetings
ProcessAccepted replied to Kirby Jackson's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I'm hoping he's talking about scaling back on the roofs ? I live in Atlanta and the new stadium is incredible here, the screens are amazing but there's just something special about watching football in the elements. I think dome teams are softer as well. -

Asked if he wanted a domed stadium, Terry Pegula initially said, "No," then said, "We'll see what the study says. It's all about what we think our fans want, what they would prefer." Hopefully the study that they're doing keeps a roof off the place wherever they build it. -
Which RB are we spending an early round pick on?

I'd grab him in there third. He might be still available in the 4th but I be afraid to risk it. -
Josh Allen vs Carson Wentz - Rookie Season
ProcessAccepted replied to wppete's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
He will be with an improved set of receivers -
I'm not a big fan of throwing out a theory as a fact and declaring that there needs to be a study to confirm the fact. You have no basis to make your claim about domestic abuse rates other so I wouldn't besmirch people as abusers. The plays in question were legal at the time. Now there will be just another judgement call for the refs to make. This never works out well. Look at the QB tackles last year. With the rule change, any forcible contact by the blocker with his head, shoulder or forearm is prohibited. I'm not convinced "forcible" will mean the same thing for every team.

Josh Allen vs Carson Wentz - Rookie Season
ProcessAccepted replied to wppete's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Today with all the data available I'd take Allen over Wentz. #17 has a much higher ceiling. I'm hopeful that McD and Beane can get him the supporting talent to help him reach it. -
I would suggest you re position your question to "Has any team in NFL History that's so clearly needed to replace their offensive line been able to bring in 4 or 5 O-linemen so quickly?" Our o-line was a train wreck last year. Our WR/TE situation was only marginally better when the season began. We still got 6 wins which could easily have been 8 (Peterman came in against the Texans and the first Miami game if Clay had stayed ready for that pass). Going into the season the pundits saw it as a <4 win season and that we were tanking. I think you'll find that this team has over performed both years under McD. There is evidence that he is establishing a culture of team, competition and accountability. This year we have money and have brought in talent with that money. Smokey is an ideal receiver for Allen and Beasley is that slot guy we needed. The RBs have to be happy that they've guys that can block for them, plus a top ranked Center directing things. How can you not be optimistic? There is no reason to think that we won't be a serious contender for a playoff spot this year. Not sure what media you are watching. We barely get any coverage and when we do it's negative. When we beat a team it's that they had an off day. When we smacked the !@#$ out of the Vikings last year I do not think that we got the credit we deserved for coming out and smacking the !@#$ out of them.
