There isn't a team on the schedule they can't beat.
-
It was a tough loss and it's easy to blame a lot of different people, however... this is is a young team that will get better and better as the season goes on. the rebuild is by no means complete, but this team will make the playoffs and anything goes from there. I just hope Josh is able to play next week to keep this process moving forward. cant wait to get singletary and taron Johnson back.

Interested to hear what Fouts has to say about Allen, both his pre-game comments and in-game. -
He personifies McDermott's "process" in every way, on and off the field.

The Fed can't stop meltdowns in markets they don't officially target, of course. They will do whatever is necessary to maintain their FFR target, and now the repo rate, though it's not formal..... yet...
-
The markets do what they do, and the Fed do what it do....be do be do..... It doesn't matter what the cause of the repo flare up was, the point is that the FED can always provide enough liquidity to meet its targets. Whether it's global pressure for dollars or domestic. If you think you can bet against the Fed, then go ahead and give it a try....
-
The Fed is simply doing what it always does, ensuring the daily liquidity needs of the payment system. On a daily basis, it meets any demand for bank reserves in order to maintain its FFR target, and now it ensures any demand for liquidity in the repo market so that the arbitrage connection is maintained between the two rates. The glitch had as much to do about meeting regulatory liquidity needs imposed on the "globally systemic important financial institutions" than anything else. Reserve accounting is simply how it "pays" for any asset it buys. You need to take my money and banking course....?

I don't want the sack, I want him to hit Brady as he throws and let that momentum drive his shoulder into his sternum....as it meets the ground.... -
The Fed will increase its daily intervention to $100 billion in the repo market and probably for the rest of the year... https://www.wsj.com/articles/fed-adds-75-billion-to-financial-system-in-latest-transaction-11569416576

Apple will continue to produce its Mac pros in Texas, but it was going to shift production out of Texas until the administration decided to provide tariff waivers on the Chinese parts that supply the Mac pro.

Not much as a runner for the most part, so we'll see if Daboll utilizes him in the passing game...
-
For those who think McCoy would've mattered. Home game against Pats. Run 12/13 yds; Pass 6/82 yards Away game: Run 6/9 yards Pass 3/10 yards. Gore is the better run option and Yeldon should be a good pass option.

Who is your most hated team in the NFC?
TPS replied to Ice bowl 67's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yeah, the so-called “America’s Team.” And Satan is the son of God... The team who’s founding owner was the son of an oil tycoon who had ties to the mob, lbj, and jfk’s assassination. But I’m not a conspiracy theorist....? -
Yeldon needs to earn his paycheck this week. Passes to the RB could be an important element of Daboll’s game plan against (currently) the best D in the NFL.

The Bills played them very tough in their second match up last year at your place, and they are much better on O this year. If the Bills get Taron Johnson and Singletary back, then I think it could be competitive.
-
That's tough schedule to start with. All those road games can be tough on a QB who has accuracy issues....

Baker seems to have some accuracy issues....

Nice job @Inigo Montoya, your father would be proud.... Fickle Fans need to calm down. With the exception of the Dolphins, there is relative parity in the NFL, and on any given day... just because a team is 0-3, does not make them bad. I recall a Bills team that started 0-3 and made the playoffs, and almost every year a team that starts slow finishes strong and makes it. The Bengals will beat some good teams. The Giants will beat some good teams, and the jets will when Darnold returns. The Bills have shown a resiliency that we haven't seen in a long time. I'm going to enjoy the ride...

Bills (3-0) vs Bengals (0-3) Postgame thread
TPS replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yes, a young team and a young QB. Fortunately the first half the schedule helps. Will be interesting to see how they are down the stretch. -
One of my favorite plays of the game was that TE sweep.
-
Maybe Daboll will through some creative run looks at them today? 2-back with McKenzie?
-
I think the key to the game will be the Bills' D. I think the Bills can put up 30, so the D will need to keep the Bengals under.

This (faster wage growth) happens when unemployment is "allowed to" stay low. If wages accelerate too much (leading to higher costs and prices), then the Fed will resume increasing interest rates which will bring on that next recession, ending those gains. That's how the system has functioned for the past 50 years or so. It's the Fed's responsibility to check inflation, and they do so by causing a recession to reduce wage pressures. So, while higher wages may be the cure, the disease will eventually be inflicted back on workers....
