  1. If the O-line protects well, might be a good time to go with Brown and Foster wide, combined with with Beasley and Knox at TE?
  2. Happy birthday Scott! And thanks for providing the forum. Cheers! TPS
  3. An excellent line from his commentary: " This might deter teams from blitzing and will create strategic turmoil for upcoming defensive units." Strategic turmoil, love it!
  4. I muted the sound after his smoke comment....
  5. And then there's .... https://www.bloomberg.com/news/features/2019-09-09/a-manufacturing-recession-could-cost-trump-a-second-term?srnd=economics-vp
  6. Yes, this is why sample size matters... Btw, they are #1 in average pass yards per attempt, which is the better measure. It puts Atlanta in the bottom 10, rightly so...
  7. So what your saying is that your statement I responded to is meaningless as well?
  8. FYI, based on BLS figures, over 4 million people (2.6% of the labor force) are working part-time because they can't find full-time work.
  9. Check out the holes they created for Singletary's runs.... https://www.buffalobills.com/video/every-touch-from-devin-singletary-s-rookie-debut-week-1
  10. mark gaughan of the BNews thought it was impressive too:
  11. Love the look by the OL he rag-dolled in that second clip, he takes a quick peek to see if Ed has destroyed his QB, then pops around ready to block a phantom defender, as if he's hoping no one noticed! ? Btw, I now see why Darnold missed that wide open receiver!
  12. Yeah, it was questionable for sure, but once called, there was no way it would be overturned without any way to see it clearly.
  13. The ref who called it had the best view. The one thing that was said that made me think it was correct, the entire ball has to get out of the endzone.
  14. A couple of thoughts about the game. At some point this season, I think the Jets fans are going to realize that it wasn't Darnold, rather the Bills may have the best pass defense in the league. This is the type of win that will help them throughout the season--they never gave up. The offense has 8 new starters, so it may take a few games before they really start clicking. Given that, I'd say they looked really good today despite some bad bounces... I'm very interested in seeing how the run D does next week against Barkley. They were very good today. I turned the sound off after Gannon said the nickname of #15 on the Jets was "smoke"....
  15. I'm hoping someone (Cover2, Baldy?) will do a video analysis of Oliver's first game. Seems as if he did well.
  16. This is one of the main things I was looking for in this game, as elite Ds stop the run. Interested to see if they can keep Barkley under 100 too, then it's a trend...
  17. Yes, because the first game is always the best indication of how a season goes...not.
  18. It will depend on what’s tweeted next week...
  19. https://www.cnbc.com/2019/09/06/us-nonfarm-payrolls-august-2019.html KEY POINTS Nonfarm payrolls increased by just 130,000 in August, in large part to the temporary hiring of Census workers. The increase fell short of Wall Street estimates for 150,000, while the unemployment rate stayed at 3.7%, as expected. July and June job figures were also revised lower. Average hourly earnings increased by 0.4% in August and 3.2% over the year, better than expected. Excluding government hiring, private payrolls grew by just 96,000, the lowest pace since February.
  20. The pain is coming from Trump's trade war impacting manufacturing, and the ISM manufacturing index showed contraction this week, with a measure below 50 which is recession indicator. On the other hand, Services and overall consumption are doing fine. Essentially, there is ammunition to support recession talk, and there is ammo to support the Trump loyalists. In the meantime, markets are hyper-sensitive to any trade talk, as we've seen this week. If manufacturing continues to decline, then it will filter into jobs, consumption, and services, and, yes, maybe even a formal recession...
  21. It's simple, once they're in the playoffs, they win the rest of their games...?
  22. If it’s an issue, Jordan Phillips can man the run downs.
  23. Oliver, saying all of the right things.... https://www.buffalobills.com/video/ed-oliver-i-m-leaning-a-lot-on-the-older-guys
  24. I'm sure he will when his kids are older.
