This is where I am too. The biggest issue right now is his inconsistency. The Bills have had a lot of long drives (75+), and they have been very good at cashing in once in the RZ. The issue has been the TOs and the misses on the deep opportunities. That said, I think Singletary and Foster will provide more big plays when they return, and Duke gives them a sure-handed big target. It's also relatively early in the season, and I still expect them to get better and better as Josh gets better and better. The Pass D rankings of their next three HOME opponents are 31, 27, and 23, so I expect we'll see their stats on O improve. If they do make a trade, I hope it doesn't cost more than one of their 5 5th and 6th rounders.

Despite his terrible performance in that game, I believe they would've scored that second TD had he remained in the game--it was the 4th quarter after all....

Hmmm...reading the title this morning, I thought this was going to be another story about him going through a glass door....

A Few Thoughts about the Titans Game, in no particular order

I assumed you were including the Fins game. Hard not to. -

Two weeks to get Singletary and other injured players back. As a football fan, I feel fortunate we get to see Frank Gore do his thing one last time. -
What the Bills need to do offensively to win on Sunday
TPS replied to HOUSE's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This. They've mov d the ball successfully in every game, but TOs, especially Josh's dumb ones, have pushed them into the bottom 10 in scoring, when they should be top 10. -
10/6/2019 Pregame Thread Bills @ Titans
TPS replied to Chandler#81's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Despite being 2-2, the Titans are a very, very good team. These two teams could very well make the playoffs, and if one doesn't, it may be due to this game--head-to-head. Maybe the most important aspect of the actual game today will be Bills Mafia, because home field advantage could be the difference maker. -

Bills release Conor McDermott; claimed off waivers by Jets
TPS replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Agreed. I probably wasn't clear that I meant simultaneous moves on Saturday. -

Yes, but you don't need to open a spot today to make a move Saturday. Why not just make both moves Saturday? -

It doesn’t make sense that they’d do it for Webb. I would think they’d do the moves simultaneously. -

They're only at the quarter pole. There's a lot more play left. -
It's fake news! The liberal MSM is simply trying to talk the economy into recession. Or it's Powell. Or it's...

Glad to read your Oliver statement. My sense was he had a strong game, but unless you key on him every play while watching it's hard to get a sense of how he did overall. It looked like my guy D. Johnson almost had a sack too. I'd really like to see him get more playing time. Thanks for the assessment.

Josh's foot work in the first qtr - Woof
TPS replied to Reed83HOF's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
That IS the issue...should be able to learn from this. For him to take the step to being a top-tier QB, he has to learn to control himself. -
Josh's foot work in the first qtr - Woof

He looked really nervy in the first drive or two. He didn't settle down until he hit a quick one up the middle to Beasely -
I thought it was his prediction for the score....?

1st quarter of the season is over...thoughts
TPS replied to HerdMenatlity1's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I expected the Bills to split the first two away games, just because winning on the road is not easy, so I expected them to be 2-2 at this point. They should make the playoffs. How far they go now and in the future depends on Josh Allen. Daboll and McDermott should ask him this question: do you want to be a top-tier NFL QB who knows how to manage and win games, or do you want to be that kid at Wyoming who thought he had to do it all and carry the team on his back? I think the Bills can make the playoffs with Barkley, but they need Josh to take that next step to in order to achieve their ultimate goal. -

Levi Wallace played outstanding today. Brady was looking his way often too.
