  1. I want Daboll on the damn sideline. He should be sitting right next to Allen after every drive. Bringing Anderson in to attempt to do Daboll's job is just bull ****.
  2. I knew this would happen. We'd draft a guy high and everyone expects him to be the best QB in the league from day one and are ready to move on after 4 games. This fanbase is what is really wrong with the Buffalo Bills. New Era Field is the biggest bar in Buffalo, people aren't loyal to the team they're loyal to the booze.
  3. Put on some Tre White tape Jalen, you want to see what a good corner looks like.
  4. But you've gotta penetrate the endzone for it to matter.
  5. I mean, look at the results from last year. A lesser coach and that's a 5-11 team. And this year, the change in the defense is unprecedented, from getting absolutely destroyed for 6 quarters to probably top 5 in the league. But as I said, his loyalties get him into trouble. Benjamin shouldn't be here, Peterman shouldn't be here. He makes big decisions based on those types of things and it gets him into trouble. Yea everyone in LA thought the Rams blew the Goff pick too. Then they go out, rebuild the line and get a considerable amount of weapons for him to throw too and suddenly he's good. I wonder if Woods or Kupp told Goff "no" when he was looking for extra reps before a game. We've got an aging McCoy, Clay and....
  6. I'm sure he was much busier banning people for sarcasm and other awful things. ? No time for football.
  7. White deleted his Twitter account. EDIT: Nvm. Bad link he's still there.
  8. McDermott is a great coach. But his loyalties will be the end of him. He's gotta learn this is a business and you stay in business by winning. And you've got to be business enough to admit when a guy isn't working out, even when it's "your guy." Benjamin, Casitllo and Peterman come to mind.
  9. You defended EJ? Even though with that weird throwing motion where he was trying to aim with his arm rather than his eyes? 5 300 yard games in 3 years, all coming against their "preseason" opponents? How about Case Keenum as a guy with a bunch of stats that took years to start? And even then only by virtue of two injuries? QB is crap shoot because it isn't just the player, it's the team, it's the coaching, it's the environment. The Bills front office even explained that Josh fit "The Process" so I don't know how much fans talk about was actually taken into account.
  10. The bigger question here is, how often do fans knee jerk over 4 games and then look like fools a couple years down the road? I know Rams fans know what I'm talking about.
  11. Must be easy to scout players in hindsight.
  12. All I can say is that if Anderson signs and starts for any reason but injury than this front office and coaching staff is a bust.
  13. That's Indy's MO. With a complete team around Peyton, Brady would have a lot less rings. But no. QB and that's it. No defense, no running game.
  14. The difference between Dilfer and Allen is Dilfer was recruited, had success at the collegiate level and then was drafted 6th overall. Josh has had a much different road to being selected 7th overall. With it comes the mental toughness that guys like Dilfer lack. Josh has always fought for his spot. That's the biggest reason I wanted to see him start. He has the toughness to learn on the fly and the adversity will teach him, not break him.
  15. Glad I'm not the only one that sees this. Gotta start working some bubble screens and quick outs into this offense. I understand that he has a big arm and they want to utilize that strength but that's a part of the play calling that opens up after you get teams to respect the short and intermediate routes. I mean I know the receivers are bad but the play calling isn't helping them one bit. No adjustment to the amount of blitzes we're seeing and no attempt to mitigate their effectiveness with quick throws and outside run plays. There's just a lot of inexperience on and off the field right now and it's tough to watch everyone trying to figure it out.
  16. We're a young team with a lot of veteran placeholders.
  17. I have a 99 ES300 and while it is technically a shared platform with the Camry and Avalon, it is setup different suspension wise and they must use better foam for the weather strips or something because it is still nice and quiet after 20 years and 200k. I always have old Toyotas and that's the reason I always recommend them. They have switched to a new global platform and we've recently started getting parts that say made in China so I can't vouch for the brand new ones.
  18. Toyota. Not an impartial opinion though. Work at a Toyota dealer, have only owned Toyota's save for a couple Sentras in my youth. I will say though, the newer Colorados/Canyons have a waaayyyy nicer interior than the Tacomas. I find the newer Tacomas to be uncomfortable with a cramped cabin. We have one for a parts truck and I dred driving it. So you prefer your Toyota to your wife's Toyota.
  19. This threads will keep popping up so I'll keep responding the same way. Unless drafting Mahomes meant also getting the playmakers he has around him and Andy Reid as head coach... It's not to take anything away from Mahomes but to deny that he didn't inherit a playoff team with one of the best head coaches in the league is a little nuts. And to say Allen wouldn't be great in his own regard in a situation like that is also crazy. I would say that if Mahomes makes or breaks your fanhood of the Bills, buy his jersey, get yourself Sunday ticket and root for the Chiefs. The rest of us will keep watching the Bills, understanding that we have a raw rookie QB behind a non existent offensive line with zero playmakers and will keep hoping that this trial by fire will help Allen learn what he needs to.
  20. I think anyone that knew Allen, knew these were the types of things he has to learn and that's why he should've been treated as the starter from the moment he stepped in the building. All those shared reps with a journeyman and an interception machine have put him behind the sticks, so to speak. What is giving McCoy 20+ touches a game really going to accomplish when the line is as bad as it is? He isn't the type of back that can run between the tackles. He spends too much time in the backfield for this line to provide him the gaps he's looking for. Plus he's already banged up so I don't think that was going to be the answer versus Green Bay. What really needs to be developed in this offense is the screen game. Getting the ball out to McCoy when he's already in space. Quick hitters to guys like Foster and Ray Ray. This is going to be how this offense gets going. Allen's lack of recognition and the line's inability to maintain their blocks, it's the only solution I see at this point. The inside of our line is the weak link. If you can spread a defense out, get them out of the box and out of the middle of the field, it may start to open up some draw plays and counters. Play action passing is in effective when you can't run the football and without an effective play action, these long routes and slow developing plays will never have a chance. So if you can get a quick passing game going, give McCoy some space in the running game, THEN you can start looking downfield and over the middle. But right now, teams know the only thing you have to do is blitz the rookie and cover deep.
  21. The story doesn't address an issue that hasn't happened yet. They still win. The question was what happens when Brady isn't there and the wins aren't such a sure thing. The only person here that sounds like an idiot is you. But that's what happens when you have a low IQ and can't contribute to a discussion in any meaningful way.
  22. You have to be good to have haters. Right now he just has a bunch of people stating facts about him.
  23. If he doesn't come with Andy Reid then I'll go with Josh and Tre.
  24. It's easy to be this way when you win. It's easy to win when you have the best QB in football for almost 2 decades. Look at how successful Saban is in college. His mantra and style is almost identical to Belichick. But when he came into the pros he didn't have the clout to go with his process and it was a mess from the beginning. Do players tolerate Bill when Brady is gone and the results aren't such a sure thing anymore?
  25. Well until someone convinces KB to put his hands out in front of his body to catch the football, it's probably going to be more of the same until we get some real wide receivers.
