  1. Diggs is a pile of human garbage. He dropped one of the biggest passes in Bills history. Good riddance. It's not that Diggs left, it's that we adopted this stupid everybody eats mantra as an excuse to not sign, trade for or draft a quality receiver.
  2. The Von Miller deal may have been one of the worst signings in Bills history.
  3. Yea if it's just Beane making the picks without input from the coaching staff then the whole thing is busted and needs to be blown up. But I have a strong suspicion that McDermott is the one with final say. Remember when he benched Cook for like half a season because of a single fumble?
  4. Beane is trying to fit round talent into the square peg that is McDermott's antiquated Cover 2 defense. They've spent all of our resources and money on the defense and have literally had zero return on those investments. When speaking of the GM, people need to understand that McDermott hired him, not the other way around. I think McDermott needs to go way more than I think Beane needs to go. I'd like to see Beane hire his own coach and if I were him in that position, I would be pursuing Lane Kiffin.
  5. We lack a championship caliber defense and the Ravens choke, hard, consistently.
  6. The KC game, as illustrated time and time again by graphics splashed all over the screen, was a meaningless regular season game for the Chiefs and our Super Bowl. We never beat them when it counts so it isn't really impressive. We also tried to lose that game at the end so it certainly wasn't an impressive win.
  7. I don't think so at all. He's got the same look on his face during that interview that he does while he's sitting on the sidelines after turning the ball over in the end zone. He's clearly not putting the work in in the offseason anymore. Looks to be regressing a great deal. His priority is no longer football. And again, with the continued mismanagement of the organization, I really can't blame him. No matter how perfect he plays they can't get over the hump and if he has one off week there's no one on this team that can back him up and they look like the drought Bills all over again.
  8. When your star player is asked by a reporter in the offseason "what are your expectations for this season?" and he responds " I don't have any expectations for this team" you should know that it isn't going to be a good year. Not even towing the Super Bowl or Bust line or anything. Just pretty plainly stating he doesn't give a ***** anymore. Can I blame him? No.
  9. Remember how long the media kept trying to prop the Pats up after Brady left? Don't fall for the marketing.
  10. Because McDermott is a terrible coach who's afraid of another 13 second game. His whole philosophy now revolves around mitigating the defense's responsibility for this team's failures. The ship is sinking fast. Soon we will start hearing murmurs of Josh wanting out. And for good reason. He could go to his favorite child hood team, live near his farm and his wife's job and have a coach in Shanahan that somehow gets the Niners close every year, even with Mr. Irrelevant and Mac Jones at QB. When Josh said "I have no expectations for the team this year" what he was really saying is "I am over this bull####."
  11. The front office really needs a smack in the back of the head. So many absolutely wasted picks on defense over the years and only a single attempt to bring in a playmaker on the outside. And that attempt has been a massive bust save for about 1 game and a couple plays here and there. Why rely on trading for a guy? Why not have your scouts do their job and have the GM address the glaring hole on this team? I see teams across the NFL that have not 1 but 2 (!) high level receivers on their rosters and all we can muster is a couple slot guys and a deep threat that's never won a foot race in his life? At this point it really is a joke.
  12. McDaniel alluded to it coming out of the locker room in the 2nd half. Miami played the run and dared us to beat them downfield and we could not do it. We were unprepared for it. This is what happens when you play a team with nothing to lose. If we beat them deep well that would be the expected outcome no harm, no foul on McDaniel's part, they are 2-7. But if it works (like it did) well then he looks like a genius and the Bills drag their sorry asses back to Buffalo with their tails between their legs.
  13. If he turns his head around that's most likely a PBU. Ridiculous closing speed from the kid. There's never been a corner in the history of football that hasn't given up a big play so if that's the standard you're going to complain no matter what.
  14. We'll see how the Phins game goes if Cook doesn't play.
  15. I will not give Kentucky credit when the Gators have to play them this weekend. But yes, they have produced three great Bills players.
  16. Hairston is going to be the key to this season. Watching some of the all 22 reviews, he's been a stud the first two games he's played. You were seeing Mahomes get hit and sacked because for once, the backend was holding up. It wasn't just Tre White 2 yards behind the receiver for 60 minutes.
  17. The only team I'm scared of in the playoffs is the Bills. We are our own worst enemy.
  18. Max Hairston might just be a good one guys and gals.
  19. Elijah Moore is the guy you are describing. Again, it is up to Brady to make the adjustments to get a guy like Moore involved.
  20. Per my first post, I agree. I think Brady's general scheme is great but we need to start looking at specifically getting certain guys involved.
  21. Watched Joe during his run at LSU and a lot in the NFL. Joe Burrow is elite in the way QBs used to be. Anticipation, arm strength, extending plays, reading defenses, he's near the top in all categories. I think you also seem to forget that Flacco has a ring, the guy was and (sometimes) still is, elite. Joe's downfall is a fairly poor offensive line and his willingness to stay in the pocket to create the big play backfires on him. If Cinci's line looked like Buffalo's you would not be making this post.
  22. Because we were focusing on Shakir, Kincaid and Cook. We haven't been doing that to the extent we did against KC. I would love to see Moore be more involved and I think if the offense stays on this trajectory, he will be just from the coverage leaving him more 1 on 1 opportunities down field.
  23. Having a real playmaker on the outside makes the offense better in critical moments. I don't think that this is a point anyone should be arguing against. I will say however, that a lot of the passing game "issues" lie within the scheme and the play calling. We have playmakers. Shakir finished 2nd in yards of separation last year and is currently 6th in the league. And we know how lethal he can be once the ball is in his hands. We have Kincaid who is 1st in yards after catch amongst tight ends, Allen's passer rating is 158.1 when throwing to him. And we have Cook, who really needs to see more usage in the passing game. He was considered an elite pass catcher with high level route running. He was Georgia's 4th leading receiver, which considering he was splitting time with 3 to 4 other running backs, was impressive coming out of college. And frankly, any time he touches the ball, it's good for the team. I am fairly confident in my assessment of the offense because the Chiefs game we saw significantly more emphasis on Shakir, Kincaid and Cook. And the offense looked arguably the best it had all season. Going forward, this is the formula. The "everybody eats" mantra was cute and a way to take a shot at Diggs, but in reality, the ball needs to be put in the real playmakers hands. Only then do things start to open up for other guys as the defense is forced to adjust to stop the bleeding, so to speak.
  24. I was responding to someone else, may want to clarify with them.
