  1. McDermott must've met Billy Napier. They are very similar guys with similar values. Lots of Gators. I'm liking it.
  2. Beane is a man after my heart these past two years. Elam, Torrence and now Shorter?
  3. It's really just a competition between Klein, Spector and Dodson, which after last preseason I think Spector has a chance at winning. With McDermott calling the defense I wouldn't be surprised to see Williams or Bernard playing the "nickel" corner in run/pass situations. Hell, Williams has the size and speed to play safety. It's an interesting pick depending on how the coaching staff utilizes him.
  4. During one of the British attempts to exterminate the Irish people in the 1600s, many survivors were relocated to the island of Jamaica where they were slaves along side west Africans in the sugar can fields. He might be more Irish than yourself.
  5. I love this staff for their recognition of Gators players. 🐊
  6. Kincaid is an excellent pick in terms of talent. The real question is whether or not Dorsey can actually draw up a gameplan that utilizes Knox and Kincaid effectively.
  7. Yea there are definitely alot of Skis in Buffalo
  8. Shocked that the Falcons didn't take the hometown guy in Carter.
  9. The thought of the Pats with Hooker makes me ill, he's probably the 2nd or 3rd best QB in the draft. If he hadn't gotten injured he probably would've went where Richardson did.
  10. That's a Pete Caroll pick right there.
  11. That's the big question. I'm bitter as a Gators fan, he made a lot of business decisions last season. Felt like at one point he was trying to do things that he could put on tape rather than just trying to win football games. He lost to Vanderbilt. Lost to Kentucky. He's going to need to dig deep in the NFL. Especially being in the same division as Stroud. I am going to guess Colts fans will be unhappy if he loses to the Texans twice a year.
  12. He absolutely should be. I think he ends up being better than Richardson and Levis at minimum.
  13. They have two 1st round picks next year. Will Anderson isn't coming out next year. Nothing is guaranteed.
  14. Nah, they had a bunch of picks from the Watson trade. Totally worth it to get two of the best players in the draft.
  15. Hell of a night for the Texans. A lot like Beane taking Allen and Edmunds. Trying to establish the young leaders on both sides starting tonight.
  16. I guess I am in the minority in that I love football enough to watch every week. Most games have been entertaining to watch but I will say this, the first few weeks of the XFL season really supported the NFL wanting a long training camp and exhibition games. It avoids the league putting out a mediocre product. Most teams didn't start clicking until week 3 or 4. TV ratings also aren't everything, many people like myself are streaming on ESPN+ for the XFL and I don't see viewership numbers for either league when it comes to streaming on apps. I think the biggest issue with both leagues is that they are trying to start a team in a city with an established professional team already. A city like St. Louis really shows the potential of untapped markets. They have the best attendance by far and typically do well in TV ratings. Portland (OR), Salt Lake (UT), Tulsa (OK), Lexington (KY), Columbia (SC) and Richmond (VA) would be great large cities that most likely root for an NFL or college team but don't have a professional team of their own.
  17. Bobby Woods back in Buffalo would be excellent. One of the best run blocking wideouts in the league and would be a great addition to the receiving corps.
  18. Aside from all the weird special teams stuff going on.
  19. By the end of the season Elam was the best corner we have. If anything I'd be evaluating trading White to free up cap space.
  20. I'm still not sold on the media access. Every start up league has tried it and it's just uninteresting. Yes, the guy that scored the touchdown is happy he scored the touchdown. Don't really need an interview to know that.
  21. Better off trying from the 10 than the 2 honestly. Opens up the playbook but maybe none of the coaching staffs have enough confidence in their QBs currently.
  22. When Milano is out, the defense looks putrid, Edmunds does not impact the defense in the same way. Aside from the tall guy not standing in the middle of the field flat footed, I hardly noticed he was out when he got hurt last year. Klein is better in the run game, that was noticeable.
  23. McDermott failed miserably this year, in my eyes. Elam and Shakir both proved often that they should be on the field and time and time again they stood on the sidelines. Elam was tied for 2nd in interceptions on the team in limited snaps and Shakir consistently made big time catches on 3rd down. Two of the better draft picks for this front office and the coaching staff sat them. Makes me question if OBD is all on the same page.
