  1. Watson is elite already?? Dude has played 4 games. Remember that time we drafted a guy that was on Sports Science with the quickest release ever? Endorsed by Hall of Fame coaches? He had a couple good games in his trash heap of a career. Watson could be elite but you and everyone else need to pump the brakes just a little. I'll be more convinced when he plays a full season.
  2. I don't think we're thinking of the same play. EDIT: It was Foster I was thinking of, but it wasn't a drop, he was wide open, looked like he didn't know which route to run and was kind of just jogging as the ball went to the sideline. I guess you might be able to put it on Allen but judging from Foster's performance, I'd say Josh knew the play and Foster didn't. So Prohel drop, Mc Cloud drop, and Foster being terrible all over the field.
  3. Coleman is that guy. Probably why we traded for him.
  4. You're right, it was Foster again. Is he cut yet?
  5. If you count the two drops (Reily and Mc Cloud) and the two massive screw ups by Foster (1 ball through his hands, stopped running the route on the second deep ball) he'd have been 13 - 19 with 3 TDs. Just like in Wyoming, his teammates really let him down last night. He needs time with 2s at least.
  6. I have to guess that beat reporters have no idea what they're talking about considering they aren't scouts, position coaches, etc. Pretty much just paid forum post writers.
  7. Says is too early to judge... judges anyways. ?
  8. You must be new 'round these parts... ?
  9. I just came here to pour some out for Lorax's ankles.
  10. This is Buffalo fans. We could win the damn Super Bowl and 80% of the hot takes here would be that it was a fluke and we're tanking.
  11. I have no idea how Rosen is doing. But I do know that Allen looks lethal from the pocket. Hopefully the line can give him time.
  12. The defense carried this team to the playoffs last year, and they've added a bunch of talent. Games like the Carolina game where we lose 9-3 or the Jags game where we lose 10-3... one good offensive series can make all the difference. I think that's why Beane and Sean like Allen, just one of those 70 yard rainbows to Foster or Prohel and the game is completely different. They've built the defense to keep games close, we just need someone on offense to come through.
  13. He was always a snappy dresser here, too.
  14. Yes, Tyrod was the reason we made the playoffs lmao
  15. His biggest hurdle is going to be taking what he's given at the next level. I think we see the same things. His accuracy is actually pretty amazing when he sticks to his mechanics. This is most evident on plays where he has a clean pocket and isn't forced off his spot. He can throw a receiver open 40 yards down field. But when he gets forced out or isn't seeing anything downfield he waits until the last second and ends up throwing awkwardly with defenders hanging off of him. The scrambling backwards thing is also a habit that needs to be broken quickly. No yards is better than negative yards. A throw out of bounds is better than an interception. I understand at times you have to take risks but he doesn't seem to have routine plays very often lol. If the Bills can correct this, look out.
  16. Aside from measurables, just watch him in coverage. His hips are fluid, he drops into a zone like a safety. They have a very young kid who is devoted to football and the more he learns the better he will get.
  17. I mean, the guy was on video running from and getting tackled by the cops...
  18. I was a fan of Tyrod until he gave me a reason not to be. Allen will get the same deal.
  19. It wasn't really a slight at Eichel, more, it's going to be another great player coming to a pretty bad team. I don't think any one guy is going to turn everything around.
  20. I feel like the same thing was said about Eichel.
  21. It's a team sport. Tons of QBs have busted, but is it always all on the player? If you're picked high in the 1st round, you're usually going to a bad team with a new staff. Or if you're unfortunate enough to be picked by the Browns, you're going to a team that's won a single game in 2 years and has decided that their coaching staff is good enough. There are entirely too many factors to sit down and say this stat, this stat and this stat is what matters. Especially since none of these statistics are obtained in vacuum. No two situations are alike.
  22. Kim needs to get us a couple night practices back.
  23. Belicheck trolling his former employer. Drumming up a bunch of hype around the guy he liked the least so the Browns would jump all over him. I mean, if the Pats like him he MUST be the next one? Right? RIGHT?!
