The reason Knox has drop issues
The Dean replied to benderbender's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think you missed the key word in Doc's post. Let me help you out, "...he LOOKS to run before securing the catch." He's looking downfield BEFORE securing the ball. I thought his meaning was obvious. Yes guys run while they are catching, but where their eyes are focussed is the key here. -
Bills "Mafia" Gridiron Heights skit?
The Dean replied to Dablitzkrieg's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
My very thought. Could have been hysterical. Wasn't -
Vikings sign Bills PS DE Eddie Yarbrough

Happy New Year to Eddie. Good for him! I won't be shocked to see him get a sack or two in the playoffs. -
This STADIUM WALL. Happy New Year!
The Dean replied to loyal2dagame's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
All the best to you, sir. And Happy New Year to the greater Bills fandom/Bills Mafia. -
Clean sweep! I think Dorsey will be a hot commodity.

I'd typically agree. But Kitchens seems to be so far over his head as HC I think it had to be done. Rarely do I put much stock in a press release, but I thin the Browns' was spot on: Ownership" ...did not see the success or opportunities for improvement to move forward with him as our head coach". Doesn't get any clearer than that. I almost referred to him as a meathead coach. But perhaps it would be better to call him the plant-based version of a meathead. An impossible burger of a HC.

Kitchens sinks because Kitchens stinks! Seriously? A guy who brought in the biggest influx of talent any team has seen in years should be fired? Now if Kitchens was his choice, then that's a big negative mark. But with a competent coach (and a different QB) this team could really be special. Hell they could be special with Baker with the right coach who could humble him a bit. WTF are you talking about? Does Kitchens seem like a process guy to you? Does he seem bright enough to coach this team?

"Lackawanna" was always the punchline I heard for that joke. But "Cleveland" makes a good substitution.

Correct on the incompletion. Thinking you might want to take the first point back, about now

Someone please tell me why Dobbins had to hobble on an injured ankle, all the way to the locker room? Don't they have a cart?

As a kid, Bazooka was my go-to gum. None of that Double-Bubble garbage or the weird gum stick in Topps baseball cards.

Merry Christmas you filthy animals!

Merry Christmas. -
Any way that Christian Wade can play in the playoffs?
The Dean replied to Mister Defense's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I feel bad about my response earlier. I was sure this was meant as a joke post as the topic of Wade's availability this year has been discussed to death on this forum. Sorry you were not aware. Short answer is: No. He is not eligible to be called up. The Merry Christmas was, and is, sincere. -
Happy Hanukkah and Merry Christmas to all. Peace on Earth and Good Will to men. A sense of humour wouldn't hurt, either.

? Merry Christmas! -
It wasn't me. I swear! Though I have been passing out some delicious THC laden baked goods. All above board, full disclosure, to fellow medical marijuana patients. Here's a "modern" Christmas tune I'd completely forgotten about:

If I'm in WNY I'm going to Viola's in The Falls for a sub.

One of my favorite Gospel Christmas songs/version. And something newer, and possibly more relevant to those with dysfunctional families.

Do you still have a landline? Why? Why not?

Those damn things cause cancer. And they can blow up in your face!!! How ya doin, Simon? -
With a small exception or two, I have to agree. Plunkett was a lucky bum. But he was a gutty sucker. He was like a lineman, in the body of a fullback, playing QB. HOF? Seriously? And I REALLY like Jim Plunkett--well, my image of him anyway. Nameth's stats, overall, don't look Hall of Fame-ish, but he was on the forefront of changing the game. Historic Super Bowl win. I'm not a guy who worships at the house of Broadway Joe, but no question he belongs. I'm completely clueless and unqualified to judge Flores' HOF qualifications as a coach. But no way in the world his stint as a player helps much, IMO.
