  1. No kidding. There are multiple posts discussing whether or not the team should sit Josh and/or other starters in the 4th Q, if/once the Bills are so far ahead it is laughable. I'm thinking, where was this talk before the Pats* game? It's an NFL inter-division game. There is a VERY good chance it will be close and low scoring. And while I know fans losing focus likely has no impact on the team, sometimes it (irrationally) feels as though it does. Don't be like a Yankee/Pats* fan. Stay humble.
  2. It's never going to feel right to say. Can you imagine "Go Pats*!" or "Go Fins!" sounding right? Yes, I hope the Jet's win against the Pats*. But I'm not so much rooting for the Jets as I am rooting much harder against the Cheatriots.
  3. No doubt. The Bills from the front office down to the coaches and players seems very professional. Haven't felt as confident with a Bills organization in many, many years. I still don't take any victory for granted. And I very much doubt the Bills do, either. That's a great thing.
  4. A MUCH better barometer of where the team is, is the WL record. Margin of victory means, well not nothing, but next to nothing. I've been through many of those very transitions. Trust me: Don't take any win for granted. (and now I just saw that I typed "Do take any win for granted") Well, that's embarrassing.
  5. Stranger things have happened to the Bills. One thing being a lifelong Bills fan has taught me: Do take any win for granted.
  6. Yes. I'd very much prefer a real butt whippin' . But, at games end, I will be happy with ANY win. Because they all count the same. Now I may have complaints/criticisms. But I'll still be happy. Why wouldn't I?
  7. Great. I'll have to check it out.
  8. Well, McD has been a head coach for under 3 years. So how could one even attempt to make that call now? I will say, he's shown me he MAY be that guy. But in so short a period of time, there is no way to say he IS that guy. I don't think anyone knew Belicheat was Belicheat 2 1/2 years into his HC career. Putting that sign on anyone after so short a time, is a bit presumptuous, IMO. A coach can have all the stars align and show all the signs of being one of the "great ones" very early in his career. But what about 10 years later? We've see guys win Super Bowls then disappear (SF had two in a row )*. All I'm saying is, not knowing if McDermott can be a giant slayer is the right answer because you never know at this stage. But even thinking it's POSSIBLE for him, is something that can't be said of many (most?) new head coaches in the league. So what am I really saying? I guess I agree with what you said (if that is what you meant). Only in a very wordy fashion. Edit: Seifert was so bad, I guess I counted him twice. My bad.
  9. Holka ia terrific. Was he inducted this year? I ask because my sister was in town for her 50th high school reunion and went to this year's introduction. My brother was an original member of the HOF (inducted posthumously). A high school friend of mine, Bob Hillman, was inducted this year.
  10. I lived in Boston for a few years. Crazy drivers. BUT for the most part, they are thinking about driving. They may go fast, and cut you off, but their eyes are on the road. They are planning their next two moves while they are cutting you off. You can cut them off and they don't blink, they just slide. It's like amateur Nascar out there. Then you have places like Buffalo where the people on the road seem to be thinking about anything other than driving. I'm not sure I've seen drivers as oblivious as in WNY. OTOH, they can still drive in bad weather. Worse in Florida where nobody has ever heard of using their turn signals. People drive in the left hand lane on the highways at any speed they care to go. Then the idiots that are going 90 tailgate them, because I guess they think they can get the moron to move. They can't. Then it's one giant clusterfuc#. Nobody can drive in the rain and half the people on the road are 85 plus and have no reaction time whatsoever. It's a wonder nobody's hit me, yet. Don't even get me started on SoCal drivers who will stay in the same lane, stopped, for an hour. Never thinking about changing lanes or GOING AROUND somebody who has broken down. "I'll just sit here until the car in front of me is repaired."
  11. Moore was made to be a backup QB. Perfectly fine in that role. They should just hope he doesn't have to start too many games. I think Mahomes will be back sooner than most people believe.
  12. Truth is, I didn't even notice the buffalo "charging". I agree with you it looks weird. But there could be an explanation.
  13. Flacco looks like Bledsoe out there.
  14. Or TJ as far as that is concerned. At least right now.
  15. That's two, right? Not the best pass, but I still call that a drop.
  16. I thought the flag bearer was simply stomping in place and snorting. And then of course, wind. You can run with the wind and the flag will fly in front of you. But no chimney I know is impacted by the wind.
  17. The next week at the bar where I typically watch the Bills (but did not for the Pats* game), several fans of other teams came over to chat. The one thing they all said was "If Allen didn't go down, the Bills would have won that game." I had to agree. Josh is money in the 4th Q.
  18. I'm thinking the same thing. The design of the shirt is OK. Just don't ask anyone what the hell it represents. The avatar is the bomb.
  19. Indeed. Anyone blaming Andy Reid for that is crazy. Belicheat regularly let's Brady* run those---even when he's been on the weekly injury list.
  20. I'm a little slow on the uptake.
  21. Obviously you cannot be trusted.
  22. Very excited for the kid.
