I didn’t want people to think I’m an advertisement as I have no stake, but it is called Mothers, in zip code 33626 of Tampa. Not only BOW, but also phenomenal wings, and they use Prime Rib vs. Roast Beef for the sandwiches. Every friend I’ve brought there loved it. It’s not a cheap restaurant, but is a very fair price, i’ve moved away from beer these past years, so I would imagine they probably have Labatts, but again not sure. Their entire menu is great, and game day is really fun. So much fun that even though I have the Ticket, will often go there for the first half to hang with Buffalo transplants, and get my BOW. Can’t forget the Woodford Reserve on. The rocks, with two limes. The best is when you treat the glass like a Margherita, but instead of salt, you use raw sugar cane. Turn upside down, then add what I mentioned. Adding soda, or anything else to Woodford is blasphemy, Only one as driving, but great sipping whiskey. Not cheap anywhere as high end. As much as I’m Irish, I prefer it over Jameson’s. The only one better for you Irish Bills fans is Tullamore Dew Irish Whiskey. It’s a tradition in my family for generations it is broken out after the funeral breakfast for a family member lost, and after all the crying, we honor them with a sip of the aforementioned, a toast, and telling funny stories about them. Sorry for the tangent, but if you ever get a chance for that drink, you will love it. BTW- I know where Fredrick, MA is located as I took my oldest son on recruiting trips to Mt. St. Mary’s as they were offering a full ride in lax, and Division 1. He declined, but a really nice place to visit.

That’s awesome. We have a restaurant/bar where you can get a tremendous b on week down here in Tampa and shocker the owners are from Buffalo. There is also a place next to it that has real wings and I’m always skeptical. i love seeing the Bills fans and games featured on the best TV’s even though I have the ticket. Nice to have a small piece of Buffalo when you don’t live there anymore. I’ll have to find it on my next business trip.

Well, first I live in Tampa for over 20 years so of course I’m a Bucs fan, but make no mistake I bleed Red White and Royal Blue and grew up on South Park Ave. and went to St. Francis. I just wanted to clear up for anyone else I’m not a Bucs fan on a Bills website. The only time Im in conflict is once every four years and every eight years I have my Bills jersey on in the Bucs home game. As far as #5 it’s a toss up. They a,ready have a highly productive offense as stated above, but have the pics to pick the top CB in the draft or OLB. I know they invested in defense last year, but I would keep putting resources throughout the draft on defense like I hope we invest heavily in offense. It’s too bad the Bucs only have $15 mil in cap space and maybe they move on from McCoy, but hope not as he is $13 mil on the cap. If that does happen, I can see them reach for AB. He was a stud under Arians in the past, and responds well to him. The team could make it happen if they want move things around with their cap. I can’t even imagine a team with AB, Mike Evans, OJ woward and company with a solid O Line. If Winston can’t make it happen and take another step forward, they’ll cut him and start again. Totally hypothetical, but a Bills defense including coaching and a Bucs offense, and we would have given the Pats a run for their money. Not that they would win, but they would have been phenomenal games. Most people don’t watch the Bucs up north and understood, but they were dynamic on offense. So there is my answer, but the draft is a crap shoot as we don’t even know who each team picks up in the first and second round of free agency. Bowles proved to be a better DC in Arizona, vs. Smith who made things too complicated. Anyway, although I made a comment on the Bucs, I know we are here to discuss the Bills. I appreciate you’re question and a Trey White CB is desperately needed down here.

2018 PFF Final Mock Draft

We’ve had two solid drafts. Watch what Allen, Edmunds, White, Milano, Phillips and so on are going to do moving forward. -
Best/Worst QB - Kelly/Van Pelt?
machine gun kelly replied to Nuncha's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Rob Johnson Todd Collins Rob Johnson Trent Edwards JP loseman Nathan Peterman EJ Manuel Should I keep going and yes Hobert too. We’ve had Kelly, Kemp, and Ferguson as decent to excellent QB’s of their era. I feel dumber for scanning this article. -
Put him behind a solid and nasty interior O Line, and you’ll see less dancing and more cutting and breaking holes. I just hope Daboll starts using him more in the short pass as he’s dangerous in space. He makes LB’s look dumb the way he cuts and jukes with momentum.

Rosen had a horrible O Line, probably even worse than ours, so I see them trading out as there is always someone in the market for #1, and fill the line and several other holes. Im no Rosen fan, but he had a defensive minded coach on a terrible line and is smaller in stature than some others, so they have to build a team. They should have never fired Arians. He took them from the year before 5-11, and bad before that after Warner said goodbye to three years of double digit wins and playoffs. I’m excited for my Bucs ( after my Bills ), as you’ll see an even better offense out of the Bucs this year. Now can they pick up in free agency and the draft a defensive line backing Corp outside of David, and draft for an overhaul of the secondary. They rated most of the season as #1 or 2 in offense almost the entire year. They just sucked on defense.

2019 Free Agency Cheat Sheet

Thanks Logic. It’s too bad the O Line isn’t on the board as well. -
With expectations higher, is anyone else calm?
machine gun kelly replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Good take OP. I’m not worried, just hate to have to wait so many months for the first regular game. We can have fun with free agency and then the draft, and even a couple of UDFA, but the gap after is awful. I think we should be happy with the results In April. -
McBeane's Moves Now Are For 2020 Success
machine gun kelly replied to Inigo Montoya's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I never wish an injury on any player, not saying you want it either, but I’m speculating we have to put up with Brady and possibly Belicheck for two more years. By then Brady is 43, Belicheck is 68, every player heals slower and slower as they get older. Even tEnCal Ripken of the NFL, Favre only made it to 42. Granted he played a different type of game, but TB’s family will put more and more pressure on him to retire. -
McBeane's Moves Now Are For 2020 Success

It’s a good take and I’d be more than pleased on the high end going 10-6, and one wildcard win. I know we won’t be ready for a SB run, but a lot can happen with $74 mil minus the draft. My guess is we pick up two O Lineman, and two WR’s. (I’ve already on other threads mentioned who we should target). They will need to hold back at least $5-7 mil for the emergency fund, and another $15-20 mil to extend good players in 2020. That is at most $57 mil available to use before and after the draft. The point that we were horrible in free agency is not complete. We had some misses in Ducasse and Benjamin (I’m including trades and acquisitions), but we also found some gems in Foster, McKenzie, and White. They also had to be picky with $54 mil in cap hell, and prepare for this upcoming two years. I agree with good choices, coaching, and players performing at their best, 2020 and after are the years we get the old Bills back that were winners. I feel bad for the younger generation who only know losing or mediocrity. From 1988-2009, we went to the playoffs almost every one of those years. It wasn’t just the four SB losses, but we still were going to the playoffs with great defense under Wade, and Butler. -
Fair point BadolBilz. I just see McCoy having a much better year with a solid line. He hasn’t lost a step, he was trying too hard dancing around because our atrocious line couldn’t provide any openings like Richie and Wood were good for in most games. We have so many needs on offense, I think they would roll with a rotation between Lawson and Murphy. Star art did his space eating job minus that last Pats game where we were torched for 273 rushing yards. That was embarrassing for the entire defense.

It’s about time. Another $4.5 mil available. More will get cleaned out once we get through free agency and the draft, we’ll see which O Lineman get cut. We also are expecting another chunk when advertised of the expected increase in the cap. Ratings for TV were up from last year.

Bean at his Witchery, Again!
machine gun kelly replied to ROCBillsBeliever's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Scott, it does when you have only one year under you’re belt as taken after the draft, purged 54 mil in dead cap weight, and now are in a position to pick up agents and a solid draft. Then next year we see what he does talent wise then and how well he retains good talent by using $ wisely. Then we can make a solid determination on Beane. A lot of people were raving about Whaley prematurely, and then everyone piled on him. Working in Mgmt in a high end industry takes time sometimes to assess talent, work people out and in so you have a winning team. Im not saying he’s made some mistakes, but so did Polian, Brandt, and Wolf. This is by their own admission. Polian who is often spoken fondly on this board said he was happy if he could hit on 60% of his drafts. That’s on NFLR, if you don’t believe me, or ask him yourself next Tuesday night on late hits.
