  1. At least in that game the 2 qb's could argue there were 8 inches of snow on the ground, high winds and the football was wet.
  2. annnnnndddd someone had to blow up the fun
  3. RJ fooled me badly... He looked like Joe Montana in camp and that got me good. Looked like Charlie Brown on game day
  4. A majority (>50% ) of posters on football message boards and callers on football based talk radio shows have little to no idea what they are talking about...
  5. That is interesting indeed. I wonder how much has to do with forcing opponents to keep their Te's in line for pass protection against our rush?
  6. Haha! That's about right - By the way not only did the media run with it, most Buf fans ran with it too . but hey we'll see. Maybe they'll be right still, I just doubt it.
  7. I think "they" was some NFL network guy's speculation... and the whole media ran with it. The Bills never said 4-8.
  8. Good point Badol - to be fair he DID start playing well late last season... It seems a blur but you're right. He's a very physical corner and now is able to track the ball.
  9. Thanks for the post as usual Bill... While everyone is focused on Gilmore playing with one arm I'd add the Leodis friggin' McKelvin is playing some serious ball this year. It's amazing what real coaching and placing a player in the proper position to succeed can do!
  10. Yes and Yes! But let's keep making up other arguments about it
  11. Did you see the hit in the Cleveland game? RG3's leg would have snapped in half... wtf is going on around here?
  12. My suspicion is that nothing has changed at OBD re: desire to move Byrd. I think they all realize he has the least value return at this point. I think they will play him and thats that... To be re-visited in the off-season. What is construed as "news" sometimes is the furthest thing from it.
  13. I'm with you on that. Maybe even 2 games
  14. It became helmet to helmet only because Hoyer ducked into it. End of drama.
  15. Rubes do you think the fact that EJ was walking around, doing drop backs and riding a bike bodes well (relatively) for the injury?
  16. 2 huge punt returns didn't help and secondary is depleted. Gave up less than 300 yds on D.
  17. A step behind tonight he was ... He's shown well at times but yes, safety is where he should be and has shown well in that position so far.
  18. Positives (good idea)... 1. Kiko (does he have a ceiling?) 2. Mario (Killing it and being utilized properly and playing hurt.) 3. Dareus (Back in shape for his position and Eating up opponents) 4. Kyle (steady, mean on the field and can still get to the passer) 5. Woods (fights for the ball and excellent routes) 6. Lawson (Edge setting extraordinaire) 7. Freddy and Cj (gutting it out against a stout D) 8. Ej flashed some nice plays before the injury and didn't turn it over
  19. How many attempts once they were down 6 (curious)? Normally I'd agree with you on that lack of balance.
  20. It was Tuel and special teams that lost it in my opinion. We were rolling good until the injury in the 2nd half. Once Tuel came into the game they stacked the box and forced the Bills to throw more than run in the 4th.
  21. I don't think they're better. It's close but I think with a healthy EJ we are better. Things were going pretty well in the 2nd half until the injury.
  22. PFF is football's version of astrology. It's interesting, kinda cool... There's some conclusions that can be drawn from it at times. And that's about where it ends. Virtual Mario might not be cutting it for some, but real Mario in 2013 appears to be playing at a high level getting sacks, drawing doubles and playing the run, all while dealing with the same injury our sit-out man Byrd has , along with an ankle injury.
