Spiller was IN the game and open on that play. The QB needs to get it tohim!... The yards per touch are great for CJ and I am his BIGGEST fan. The YPT are ALSO a result of the situations the team is in. If they ran him more on 3rd and 1 or 2 the YPT wouldn't be so high....

I've backed CJ from the beginning and I agree he is amazing. The loss is not on how many carries which back had. It is on one bad throw/ bad route combo, a fumble at the 1 YL, some bad defense in the 1st half, and some horrible officials calls in the 1st half.

2 Bad holding calls and the bad long interference call in the 1st half made all the difference in this game to me. Would have won by 7 to 10. Sucks revisiting the woulda-couldas but it's pretty valid in this case.

I agree with the OP in that Leotis needs to be out there in situations like the 4th and 9 instead of a guy like Rogers. Call him a bad corner all you want... but he sticks to his man like glue and has superior athletic ability. It was clear he needed work on his ball tracking skills last year and it appeared the he was doing just that when they finally let him play again toward the end of last season. I think Rogers has some naked pics of Wanstches Mom or something. Hey Bills personnel department: Players develop. It happens.

He's a FAR better cover man than Williams. Only liability in the past for him was tracking the ball but he appeared to be remedying that toward the end of last year after a benching. He's always been able to stick to his man like glue. I think the team is a bit foolish for not getting him out there more on D.

Sounds like Jaws has worked for ESPN for too long. I mean Fitz is definitely mediocre (hit and miss), but 30 out of 32 is extreme and clearly shows that some other influences are at play (IMO).

Not to add to the paranoia but I seem to recall in a lot of those Buf/NE games the penalties becoming much more "evened out" late in the game after it was already decided, thus making the penalty comparison look more innocent than it actually was. Probably not true but you never know....

The Jets kept 7 in to block on most plays and got the ball out quickly. I think the only thing that would have helped is what they did last week vs. the Chiefs and set the corners in tight bump coverage

The 53rd roster spot that this player is "holding back" is so negligible, it's not even funny. As long as your guy can put it deep in the end zone like 90% of the time it is certainly worth it. For an opponent to have to go 80 yards on all non-punt drives, it gives you a great advantage.

Associating single players to Wins and Losses will ALWAYS be 100% subjective and nothing more. There's really no validity to it. What CJ did in Sunday's debacle of a game was nothing short of impressive in any way.
