  1. Remember Kids! Players are evaluated on Wins and Losses in the ultimate TEAM sport! What a joke , and there are SOOOO many out there who feel they are correct in judging football players this way... It's amazing really. Record of all WR's ever in NFL history? 0-0
  2. Ditto... It's unbelievable really...and sad.
  3. I don't think any current Bills Corner can accurately be judged without film. We have NO PASS RUSH, and Tv doesn't follow the path of the corners from play to play fully.
  4. Roscoe was playing so well and being schemed correctly. Really sucks... I hope he left enough of an imprint on the coaches to keep him involved for next season. Tough break.
  5. I think most fans know that... The Einsteins can be pretty vocal. Fitz has shown that he is a pretty good QB. He has a chance to be a long term starter if he continues to play well or even improves, but he is a sure thing to stick around and groom next years QB we draft :-)
  6. Hey I think the guys fairly washed up too but these other things you are saying are ridiculous. Ralph Cronies? Reading our posts and reacting? Are you kidding? I don't think you are.... Wow!
  7. Thats just it. I wish we could get access to every team's draft boards cuz I doubt ANY of them had the 3rd offensive tackle rated anywhere near as high as Spiller, let alone other positions. He was easily the BPA at the time of selection.
  8. He is Clark Kent without his Roids ... No Thx
  9. It's starting to look like Luck is the only QB in college football worthy of a 1st round pick. The other guys are starting to look more and more flawed/ mediocre . If Luck doesn't declare, I'd be pretty upset if Buffalo still took a QB with their 1st pick at this point. This is turning into the big hype QB draft.
  10. - Both Nix and Gailey's area of expertise with respect to college player personnel was in the southeast , where Spiller played. Seems like a no brainer pick considering the top 2 Tackles were gone already...Certainly does not seem like a Wilson pick, if there has even ever been one of those.
  11. Saw that..Would have been a TD
  12. Gailey states yesterday that they did have a couple runs called at the end of the "FG drives" that they failed on. He states that the coverage/ alignment dictated that Fitz opt out to a pass play. This was in his post game interview.
  13. Thing is, if Luck isn't there with say the #1 overall pick, do you STILL take one of those other guys who are dropping in value by the week and likely not turning out to be the great hyped prospects they were just 2 months ago? I say no...
  14. Fitz has been more money on 3rd down than any QB in recent Bills memory. I'm fine with keeping him around as starter until the guy we draft is ready.
  15. Offensive play calling all 2nd half was quite good, including OT. This coach knows offense... This is a useless point IMO OP... Sorry
  16. I think the Myth is that LE is not a very good WR . He would be Harrison in the Colt's system or Holt in the old Rams system if you will... Same guy for the most part. Same abilities for the most part. This team is nowhere near the cap so I don't understand (never will) why we gotta get all over one of the team's few good players.
  17. I think you misunderstood , even still
  18. Thanks for the post Rich! Excellent points.
  19. I agree the safety play has been particularly horrific
  20. Watch the games a little closer and you'll see his willingness and effectiveness for a guy his size as a blocker. It's quite comical really. I am convinced you are going off assumptions on this. Slot WR's do not need great speed. They need quickness and ability to settle and/or separate in space and he has that and is improving at the position. You still seem like you're reacting to someone calling him god in cleats or something like that. Players can be decent/ good and still greatly help a football team.
  21. I doubt people think he's a #1 WR when they say "playmaker" so I think they are accurate. You are way off on the blocking point. He is ( and it's quite comical at times yet true ) one of our better blockers at the WR position. Really gives a lot of effort there. Update your apparent pre-determined opinion of this guy because he is finally developing under this staff. Do you want every WR to be good at every aspect of the game? He is quicker than 99% of NFL players, so that should off-set the lack of tackle breaking ability. He is becoming a pretty nice slot WR.
  22. FWIW , I definitely don't believe that Roscoe was always this good as a slot WR. I believe he has worked very hard and been well coached and has actually "developed" (shocking I know for a Bills player) .... Although I do believe his progress was hindered by lackluster coaching in previous years.
  23. Definitely He's got some seriously good receiving skills and that quickness/ burst that can't be taught. He's a little fragile but thems the breaks...
  24. Nice read Bill I fear you may be right about Whitner, though he did make some plays early on and I don't believe the flea flicker was his guy...he was the "help".... bit didnt really.. I think Stevie J is progressing quite nicely...not sure why you don't like him ... How about Roscoe for that matter? Spiller is going to be fine....
