  1. Only one person referred to Manning Let people speak positively about something positive on thew team we love ...wtf Especially in the sea of crap that we've been swimming in lately. Go away
  2. Big Props to Fitzy and Gailey! Can't complain whatsoever about what Gailey has been able to do with this offense.
  3. I've gotten to the point where I just completely dismiss the credibility of any poster that includes the word "apologist" . Taking sides on many of these issues prevents objectivity
  4. That much is true for sure (your last sentence there)
  5. I like what I've seen from Luck and Mallet as much as most of you guys... What I am missing is how Locker is knocked out of this race. He did have the one horrible 4 for 20 game (or whatever it was) but since has picked things up and looks Big, Mobile, Strong Armed and able to throw on the run. When folks are unable to ammend their opinions on players I start to think they are just "married" to a guy in their own mind, and nothings gonna change it, leaving a very non-objective opinion. I worry that it has created a snowball effect here at TSW and we have all but ruled out Locker. Again from what I've seen I'd go Luck, Mallet, Locker in that order but just worried about the objectivity of fans on this board. People tend to become more concerned about defending their original opinion than following things through...
  6. The Bills are 10th against the pass with no pass rush... Seems like at least middle of the pack to me.
  7. OP your draft assumptions are laughable.
  8. Best DE ever cuz he did it from a 3-4 defense... Gotta be better than 31 for sure.....
  9. It's amazing that these "insiders" have jobs at all sometimes.
  10. They do. Is there any doubt any longer?... Too much evidence. It's hip to Bills Bash whether the particular comment is correct or fabricated.
  11. 1- Better over 5 games on teams that utilize them more and have better talent.... Strong Case! 2- Traded down???? Right for sure we could have traded down just because you wanted to! Wilson we agree on our love for Phish and opinions on Lee Evans, but the many many posts you've made about these other 2 backs I can't go along with. I see absolutely nothing about Spiller so far that doesn't tell me he's gonna be a great player.
  12. To add, it was quite clear that with Trent at the helm, he was unwilling to throw it in traffic most times (ie over the middle). Note more passes over the middle now to Parish, Johnson, Nelson, and even an occasional one to Evans now since Fitz took the helm. It's not just about Lee.
  13. Buddy only Scouted the South East and No he was definitely not involved in the Maybin Pick
  14. Lol you cut it off right at 1985 - 4th rounder - Andre Reed
  15. Lots of valid points here on Evans that can't really be argued unfortunately. Though I still say Evans on the Colts looks a hell of a lot like Marvin Harrison. He'd probably have 90 catches for 1200 yds every year. His issues are probably a combination of scheme, losing motivation through years of losing, and coaching/ Qb changes.
  16. Andra Davis is lightyears better than Kelsay as a LB, although a different position of LB
  17. What team were you watching????
  18. Nice Post Jay! Far too logical though, beware ... I think getting a clear evaluation on Brohm is also in their plans... Need to know what you've got in him before next season.
  19. You are correct sir. It's funny how upset people get defending Lynch. I would like him on the team myself and I think he is about equal to Freddie...maybe a hair better overall... but NOBODY can argue that Lynch doesn't dance to the hole quite frequently. All you gotta do is watch.
  20. That's Pro Player Personnel , the job the infamous John Guy used to do. Sure Buddy is ultimately responsible for it, but his area of expertise is in scouting college players, and the history I refer to is in his scouting years with the Bills and assistant GM years with the Chargers. But whatever...
  21. Not sure where I said I trust in him... although I do see the logic in this latest move. I do hope he continues his success in personnel evaluation though.
  22. psst... If you haven't noticed yet, Nix doesn't like to share information, nor does he care to appease the media with "proper" sounding answers that will calm fans little hearts. Based on his history he does know player personnel though...
  23. Good thoughts OP Makes sense They should know Brohm well enough by season's end to determine what to do going forward. With Trent around they wouldn't have been able to do that so easily.
  24. I don't see the issue here: -New regime gives Trent a legit chance and ... He fails miserably, unwilling to throw the ball in traffic like an NFL QB is required to -They try another option for one week to see if it's really the O-line causing all the problems....Nope...The backup QB is decisive and willing to throw into traffic and has a much more productive game... Magically, Evans, Johnson and Parish are suddenly open. - Regime realizes they are not winning anything this year and Trent isn't the guy and they release him, potentially sending a message to others on the team who don't perform at their job.
  25. Thank you Not sure why that is so hard to understand
