  1. I think it is a very useful debate. How many drafts have been ruined by reaching for need , I don't have to list them we all know the names. If Greene is far away the player with the biggest upside I would not argue against the pick and here is why. 1. Stevie johnson, who we all love was not great last year, repeat not great ,he dropped several big passes in the Steeler game and had a huge fumble in the Green bay game, before it got out of control. I think he is a great number two. 2. Lee evans has always been more style then substance. I know the whole decoy arguement, pull the d away blah blah blah but could he get 10 td's or 1000 yards recieving agian. Easley who knows but they like him so you can not discount him. Just saying taking for need is why the roster was a disaster. By the way the argument could be made for the cornerbacks in this draft. I think Greene ,Prince and Peterson may grade out very high . SHOULD be interesting . I am down for Fairley but if he is gone it gong to be wild .
  2. mismanagement over the last decade is the only difference . There is no reason the Bills can not be built into a highly competative team
  3. Assuming Free agency starts before the draft here is what I would do 1 resign Poz,florence and wilson the rest can go 2 I would lobby hard for Ralph to open up the bank for two free agants. 1 Willie Colon right tackle pittsburgh, assuming he is fully recovered. The guy is a bright guy and team leader ad fills a huge need second guy is pual soliai N.t .His addition really allows them to finally put a solid line togther on running downs. 3 Minnor or smaller deals . Thigpen, brian leonard, matt spleath, and stephen cooper these guys will not cost a ton and really will up grade talent base on the team. 4 The Draft two paths If New england really wants to trade up for green I am in . if not 1 Daruis De A weakness is now a strenght WILLIAMS.,Soliai , Daruis Troupe,Edwards, Carrington 2 Greg jones ilb , great paring with poz , much more mobile but still very good against the run 3 Beal OLB If Merriman comes back to full speed great if not ,we will nned help 4A Ballard De not done with the Dl and I am a believer on drafting into the strenght of the draft and this one is loaded with Big guys along the dline 4b Curtis Brown, The little secret that nobody wants to talk about is the Corner back situation is not that strong. Mckelvin , loaded with potenential but wildly erratic. Mcgee is alway hure and Florence if resigned is solid and steady 5 Keapernick. big time project but I am willing to take a flyer everydraft , Fitz is fine for now but until the scenerio works out for them to grab their guy at the top of the draft this is the best way to go 6 Willie smith Left tackle , project tackle 7 Brewer right tackle now before you kill me I took the players off the board based on where draft tek has them . You might see Brewer and Ballard move up e
  4. There is little doubt that Cam is a major talent. The quesiton is weather all the parts come together for him to be a top flight qb in the Nfl. I just do not think the Bills can afford to take a chance at this point. They really need some cornerstone players. Taking an upside qb is just not the way to go at this time. To much risk for me . My two cents
  5. I could see it , Green is going to be the best play maker in the draft. I do not want them to go in that direction but I can see a case for adding as many playmakers as possible .
  6. got this off the rotoworld site \ http://www.rotoworld.com/ New coach Ron Rivera confirmed Tuesday that he will stick with a 4-3 defensive scheme in Carolina. Rivera used the 3-4 most recently in San Diego, but he's coached both schemes in the past. Though he promised to use "some elements" of the 3-4 in his new defense, key players such as MLB Jon Beason will stay in their comfort zones. River emphasized that his will be an "attacking" defense, which is pretty much what all new defensive coaches promise.
  7. can bowers play a 3/4 or would they be better off with darues
  8. Not sure I would want to switch back ,but fairley /williams combo in a 4/3 would sweet anything is possible, Belichick was listed as a DB coach with the Jets so it is all relative I guess. The more good coaches the better
  9. Mel kipers latest big board has Fairley at number one ? That is all and for what it is worth
  10. That could work seems after Fairley there is a several D ends that will work for us at 9 . the more hype green and the two cornerbacks get the better
  11. RIvera comes from the chargers and they run a 3/4 Needs for both teams and probable number 1 and 2 on most boards. That is what I am hoping for anyway give me Fairley or the alabama kid anyday
  12. so you draft players that don't fit the scheme. Problems is they switch systems every few years. Jauron had to go but I would like to see Chan get a nice long run.
  13. again if someone decides to take the 35th best player on his board at number 8 to fill a need how is this his fault there is no debate tht donahue and Buddy make their own picks , so that leaves the Jauron era opens for debate, that era is were you get the most head scratchers , whitner , mccargo, maybin
