  1. I think it's mainly that they don't watch all these other QB's play, making multiple mistakes in EVERY game they play in (well other than Brady lately) ... Just looking at what Fitz has done for the O-line alone should tell a little about just how good he can be. He reads defenses... An art that has become progressively more difficult of late in the NFL. I think the other thing is that many fans look at W-L ... The Pittsburgh game should be the perfect example to all that Qb's don't win games. They certainly help, but teams win games. I always say it but all QB's all time are a combined 0-0 in reality.
  2. Where do you people come up with this stuff?
  3. Pretty much all that needs to be said right there...
  4. The good thing is, all statistics aside, the naked eye tells us that these 2 guys are playing pretty darn well this year. Not spectacular, but pretty darn well.
  5. So dumb that they look like the best coaching staff we've had in ages.
  6. Welcome to the club! One of my largest peeves ever on TBD is the " tackles 7 yards downfield" crew... It just makes you want to .
  7. Kinda sad that we are better than both of those teams...
  8. Yes I think he was speaking of God .... It tends to feel Epic when things like this happen. But he'll realize later what a blessed life he has hopefully compared to many people and get past it hopefully.
  9. I don't see any way Locker goes that high, nor do I see any way he goes ahead of Mallett. Otherwise good, interesting stuff...thx
  10. Very clear and accurate response. I thought this was more obvious to fans that in actually turns out to be.
  11. Both Gailey and Johnson are quoted as saying That indeed yes, Lee is still seeing most of the "double teams" (which is really a safety rolled over the top of Lee) in this offense to this day. This is a fact, not an opinion. Myth Not Busted.
  12. OMG you're still talking like this after the guy regains his composure and has that outing?? Weak
  13. How is this any different from Kelly's 3 int in the 1st half 5 TD game vs. the Bengals? Bulldog is retarded apparently
  14. There is a WHOLE lot of crow that needs to be eaten from some premature comments re: Fitz in this game thread. All of those who "knew better" lol
  15. HA not a bad idea! A distinct possibility :-)
  16. I know this board behaves in a "Johnson vs. Flutie" manner but folks, the possibility exists that BOTH Luck AND Mallett are going to turn out to be pretty good NFL Qb's !! Does it ALWAYS have to be one or the other around here?? There are very, VERY promising things going on with both of these college prospects right now.
  17. Agreed... I've seen nothing to be overly excited about wrt Kolb's play
  18. Matter ? Yes Reflect the improvement or lack thereof with our offense? Not so much Honestly, It is so blatantly clear to anyone with even the most modest eye for the game of football that our offense is light years ahead of where it has been since the good Bledsoe year.
  19. Avg offensive yds per game last year - 274 This year - 303 (with Trent playing 2 games even) 3rd down conversion percentage last year - 25% This year - 40% I can cherry pick too
  20. Agreed and as bad as he has played in past games this season, it was quite shocking to see.... I also noted Whitner may have had his best game from 1st quarter through 4th as a Bill. Lots of deflections/ passes defensed and good solid hitting. I noted even further that Poz was all over the filed making good plays. He got victimized with a coverage mismatch late but theres not a LB in the league who can cover Calvin.
  21. Whether or not he prefers the opposite sex, I still think he's a good QB
  22. Oh thats right! it's just like so many other threads... I'll add to the list Coaches Win games AND Wr's win games, not teams... Check!
  23. who, turns out, seems like a pretty good and level-headed game day coach with some Nad...
