  1. A speed guy will is also 6'5"
  2. Yup, there's a Bills logo on him now ... http://www.rotoworld.com/player/nfl/7403/tommy-streeter
  3. Agreed thank you! To add- As if Whaley and Nix weren't making every decision together for the last 12 months any way... Do some fans think they are all just isolated and offer up their opinion and then there's a group poll?
  4. Yeah I would love if they are somehow able to trade down and pick up an extra later 1st rounder and take him there if they are gonna take him.
  5. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2013/04/15/jon-gruden-likes-ryan-nassib-most-among-2013-qb-class/
  6. Great numbers indeed. Geno fails the eye test against good defenses in the opinion of some observers however (myself included).
  7. How 'bout Eifert from ND for the McKeller position with our 8th pick?
  8. Simon , not sure which games you were able to see but did you know that by about 3 to 4 games into the season SU was running the K-Gun? Thanks for the observations brother! I'm intrigued by what Nassib can do.... Hopefully they have a chance to jump into the later 1st and get him.
  9. GS certainly had great stats... And again I only saw 3 games of his but from that I gathered (right or wrong) that his Body wouldn't hold up in the NFL, nor was he very good at reading defenses (speaking of the 2nd/ 3rd read type of stuff). Also he was easily frazzled by the blitz. Who knows though... just a gut feeling based on too many years of watching these players. I would probably go in a different direction if he were still there at the 8th pick. I do, however, agree with our dire need for a QB.
  10. I admit that I only saw him in about 3 games this year, but my does he look over-rated! And SU COMPLETELY befuddled him in the bowl game.
  11. Indeed... It will be interesting to find out.
  12. Good stuff. I liked the NPR-ish flavor too
  13. Truth! And that comes with me (and I'm sure you as well) realizing that Fitz is not the answer
  14. Never once said Fitz had an arm, just a way more refined one than TT ... bored with this.
  15. Sorry - disagree as does the entire NFL collective staffs/
  16. You've got to be nuts to believe he is even a thought or consideration for any one as a true QB. And the funny thing about your stats sarcasm is that I look at and value stats probably as little as anyone you'd ever want to debate with on here. Those SEASON completion % numbers do mean a TON though.
  17. total BS Tebow is not even a quarterback in the NFL NFL qb's need to be able to read defenses and throw from within the pocket and Fitz's accuracy is indeed not great but is MUCH better than Tebow's (things are a lot different when you throw 25 to 40 passes per game). Beyond that... Size? who cares / Arm strength sure Tebow's got that one, Scrambling/running threat - who cares when thats all he can do. Turnover Prone- Do you remember when he played the Bills last year. Anyway I'll stop now because this is the stupidest argument ever. Sure let's compare our mediocre QB to a Tight end/ H-Back Here is Tebow's "Accuracy" from last year: 126 completions, 271 attempts, 46.5 %
  18. Fitz is a lot better actually.... And I say that knowing that Fitz needs to be replaced as the starter.
  19. Is this really a thread here??? I shouldn't be shocked I guess but I kind of still am. I mean Tebow? Really???
  20. This is typical.... The reality is that this year OVERALL, Spiller is MASSIVELY improved in pass protection and has done a fine job with it (yes better than average). The OP still is right in a sense because Spiller was not as good in pass protection during the Rams game specifically. This does not excuse the coaches from some of the other games where Spiller got less than acceptable touches.
  21. Found my Pops and I... Pretty cool feature!
  22. Not sure if any of you saw it, but It was confirmed on the broadcast last week that SU is running the K-Gun offense this year (yes our offense from the 90's). Their staff studied it and have implemented it and it's paying dividends. Ryan has steadily improved in his time at SU and I would indeed be intrigued by a pickup like that. He is very smart with his reads like Fitz, but has a stronger arm. He'd be an interesting development guy...
