  1. I don't think he did. He just said it was about money and a bit of a surprise. Neither remark is particularly enlightening, and is pretty much what I'd expect an aging superstar who was cut to say.
  2. You're a happy-go-lucky kind of guy, aren't you...I can tell.
  3. Yes, I understand the difference between 2018 and 2019 but the Bills' reassurances in 2018 led him to believe he would be a part of the 2019 squad, thus the cut was a surprise.
  4. Let's go get two of 'em. I don't really care which ones.
  5. Wouldn't expect him to do anything different. He has an interesting spin on his departure from Buffalo, though...said he was "better than the guys they had there" and the cut was a surprise because there were trade offers that the Bills "shot down." Probably just a bit of an ego hit for the guy. No harm no foul. Singletary was much better than Shady would have been in our backfield last year.
  6. Yeah I wasn’t getting that one at all but I suppose your explanation makes sense.
  7. I don’t know, a good pair of form-fitting leggings can send the message that you’re ready to hit the ground running.
  8. Owner of wienermobile visiting owner of nutmobile: WM: where do you want me to park? NM: I’ve got a 3-car garage...my wife and I take the outside spots so just park in the middle.
  9. If you haven’t been banned at least once on this forum you’re not doing it right.
  10. I had it on for schitts and grins, saw one play in which Tre had absolutely perfect coverage on Michael Thomas but Thomas out-muscled him for the ball. Great coverage, great pass, great play by the receiver. Tre came down with a look of "how did that happen?" Thomas is unreal.
  11. "They realized the device had actually entered her body through her urethra and went into her bladder, lodging itself sideways." Talk about not knowing what you're doing -- she should be suing the boyfriend, not the company.
  12. Can anyone answer the question of why @Zerovoltz is hanging around this forum? Just odd.
  13. Just tell me when the highlights are on of Eli and Tyree shattering the Pats*** dreams...
  14. I can only speak for myself but I certainly don't feel that way. My critique of Lamar Jackson is always accompanied by recognition of what an awesome season he just had, and the only thing I've said about Mahomes is that he throws to an awful lot of wide open receivers.
  15. Well, since my whole premise is that I don’t think he will do that I think we just have a fundamental difference of opinion, which is fine.
  16. @Albany,n.y. - I think you are in the minority. The best feeling I've ever had watching an NFL game that did not involve a Bills victory was when the NY Giants ended the Pats*** dream of a perfect season. But to each his own. I have no affinity for the AFC -- I'm a Bills fan.
  17. Name me the "effective one read passers" who have won championships at the NFL level or experienced sustained success. Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore offense had an amazing year. He'll be the MVP. That doesn't change my opinion one bit.
  18. Yup. Reading the reactions from Bills fans is like watching Pavlov's dog, though.
  19. And what self-respecting Rams fan would be rooting for the 49ers? That's like a Bills fan rooting for the Pats*** in the SB. The Super Bowl isn't going to leave Sunday -- talk about a wasted effort.
  20. His highlight reel looks good but only 4 receiving TDs last year?
  21. I'll give you one reason why -- intelligence. I don't care how great of an athlete Lamar Jackson is, if he doesn't have it upstairs he's always going to be limited. The guy had a terrible Wonderlic and I don't think it's a stretch to say he is a little intellectually challenged. Becoming a better passer is about more than mechanics and practice. Will he ever be able to run a complex offense or read defenses effectively? Hey, I give Harbaugh and Roman credit -- they went all-in and designed an offense to minimize his weaknesses. What happens when Roman moves on? What happens next season when everyone is using the Buffalo/Tennessee blueprint? I'm not "bashing" Lamar, I'm just calling it like I see it. In contrast to Josh Allen, Lamar has been playing quarterback for a long time at a high level. He played in the ACC for a program that was in the running for conference championships. Call me crazy but I don't think he's going to suddenly develop into a productive pocket passer.
  22. Just tragic. Can't say anything other than how sorry I am to hear this.
  23. Where's the emoji of me running through a brick wall because I'm so freaking excited for next season already!!!!
  24. When our own QB can't hit the broad side of a barn in a no-rush "skills challenge" I'll start worrying fo' sho!
