Absolutely. Calling it "rock'n roll" is silly at this point.

So whatever will happen to "Right Josh" Rosen?
eball replied to Hapless Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
To answer the original question -- I don't really care all that much. I think Rosen made himself look like a dufus after the draft, and despite being thrown into less-than-ideal situations he hasn't looked the part of a QB1. I think the odds of him becoming anything more than a clipboard holder grow longer by the day. I mean, if the tanking Dolphins aren't willing to put the time into him who will? -
NYG requested permission to interview Daboll for OC - DENIED

Need to add 1-2 playmakers at the WR position and find a suitable complement to Singletary in the backfield. Do those things and your "explosion" prediction may come true. -
Hot for teacher: South Carolina style

Particularly for a 16-year-old, this one's a no-brainer. -
My post was not a critique of your topic, just my overall feelings on the subject.

I'm tired of all of the comparisons between Josh and this QB or that QB. I know what my eyes have seen, and this kid not only has the "it" factor, he's also obsessively committed to making himself better and becoming great. Next season's jump will be even bigger than this season's progression, and I have no doubt Beane is going to find more weapons to put around him. If Josh stays healthy he will wind up obliterating every Buffalo Bills QB record in the book.

Smart guy. Choosing being healthy for the next 40 years.

Joe B takes a look at Buffalo's four core free agents...

I think Johnson is my #2. Lots of talent and I don't fully trust Wallace. -

I guess you're not considering the fact that he has become a team leader? Those guys don't typically slack off after a new contract. -
@Nihilarian well you're certainly a ray of sunshine! If Dawson's Creek doesn't have stone for hands half of the time and the WRs don't drop an alarmingly high rate of catchable passes, the Bills' offensive numbers would have been significantly better. I think the answer to the Bills' offense lies in three words: enhanced WR talent. They also need a capable complement to Singletary. I'm not nearly as down on Daboll as you are. I believe Knox will work on his hands all offseason and Beane will find the missing pieces. Everyone is talking about how hard the schedule will be -- the Bills will play SIX games against playoff teams (counting the Pats*** twice), three at home and three on the road. Now is not the time to bemoan the fact that the Bills will return their coaching staff mostly intact for the third straight season. We should expect everyone to be better next year than they were this year. McD's mantra is to get better every day. Why would we not think Daboll follows that trajectory as well?

I noticed she didn't swallow it.

Things that will be hard to repeat in 2020
eball replied to Over 29 years of fanhood's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Just joking around, man. But it always amazes me how Bills fans will take any opportunity to "warn" themselves that the bottom could fall out at any time. -

You know, I was sitting here thinking to myself what a fun season it was, and how well the Bills are situated to add to their success and become a consistent, legitimate contender, and, dadgumit, it I didn't say to myself that I hope somebody starts a thread about how we were just lucky and are just as likely to suck next year. Thanks OP! -
Is Dorsey being groomed by Daboll?
eball replied to transplantbillsfan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I would presume that the last thing on Daboll's mind is whether or not he is "grooming" his eventual replacement. He clearly wants a HC gig but until that happens the best way for him to present himself as a viable candidate is by showing success in his current role with the Bills. He is and will be focused solely on making Josh and the offense better. Now, if Dorsey also wants to move up the ranks he is no doubt absorbing everything while also contemplating what he would do in that role, so that if/when Daboll leaves he is prepared to state his case to McD why he should be the next OC. -
Browns hire Kevin Stefanski as HC; Andrew Berry as GM
eball replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Even though folks like to equate Cleveland and Buffalo fans as "long suffering who deserve a winner" I just can't root for the Browns to succeed so long as that crook owns the team. When I read that he requires game-planning meetings with the HC I almost lost it. -
Sure, "things change quick" but certain franchises never become irrelevant and if you've listened at all to Beane and McDermott they've said all along they are all about sustained success. The Bears are not a good comparison with the Bills for many reasons, most of which have already been laid out in that thread.
