  1. I have it on pretty good TSW authority that McD "doesn't have a clue" when it comes to offense and skill players, particularly WRs. You must have it wrong, guys.
  2. MAKE ROOM IN THE TROPHY CASE! HARDWARE IS COMING HOME! RAYCOM MEDIA CAMELLIA BOWL!
  3. But can he run a good "dead leg"?
  4. Nice 1-2 punch the Bills have at RB now...two young guys with loads of talent who are both versatile. It's getting harder and harder to identify a weakness on this team.
  5. And that would be absolutely fine w/ me. The 6th and 7th rounders aren't making this roster anyway.
  6. That's Gandy-Golden to you. Was just going to post this; would like to see this guy in a Bills uniform.
  7. Really ridiculous this guy was on the board at 54. And he fills arguably the Bills' biggest need! I'm glad he had a crappy combine; that's the reason he's now a Buffalo Bill. Look at Beane and McD pushing those buttons already..."I know you'll come in with a chip on your shoulder." Love this organization!
  8. In this case I think calling now is a good strategy. It's hard for them to defend a "some people get the deal, some people don't" promotion.
  9. So I didn't get the email either but my mom did so I had her forward it to me. I just got off the phone with AT&T -- a very nice customer service rep in Arizona spent the better part of 30 minutes "looking" for information about this promotion and couldn't find anything. She understood my dissatisfaction with the situation and gave me $300 in bill credits -- not quite enough to cover the cost of ST Max but better than "sorry, I can't find that promotion." It would appear to be a random promo...will be interesting if I get the email later and still have those credits...
  10. The Atlanta pick was the worst of the bunch!
  11. I sure hope the Bills don't wind up with Gross-Matos. Friend of mine who is a huge PSU fan (and very level headed) told me "I like him, but I'd want better for my NFL team."
  12. Nah, Wade played a sport where he could use his hands. Good call though -- will be interesting to see what he learned in a year.
  13. I agree they won't go into training camp or the season with just Yeldon as a #2. I just think they can find a good RB in the 4th or later (unless one of the two studs falls to them).
  14. Except he absolutely was a workhorse back in college. If Dobbins, or god forbid Swift, fall to the Bills it would be hard to pass up but I don't think this is as urgent a need as others do.
  15. It is going to be interesting to see how the top of the 2nd round falls...man, there are some good players out there. At the end of the day I believe Beane will stay true to his evaluations and go BPA unless he sees a trade opportunity for somebody who has fallen farther than anticipated.
  16. I'll be using this thread if I don't get that email...
  17. Agreed, I just looked at the 1st round recap (didn't stay up to watch the whole thing last night) and I'd say the reach for CBs and the extra QB taken were all things Beane enjoyed watching. Tonight will be fun.
  18. That’s a bit of an overstatement. Ingram isn’t a top RB?
  19. It's somewhat satisfying and refreshing to see an "old guard" poster such as @BillsVet -- who has been one of those critics you cite -- recognize that whether they got there in the way he would have done it or not, the Bills have established themselves as one of the stronger franchises in the league. It's a good thread.
  20. I don't generally agree with Brown's takes on sports, but this was intentionally funny.
  21. My online book has the o/u on defensive players at 15.5, but the under is -185 while the over is +135. On offense the o/u is 16.5...over is -220 and under is +160.
  22. I'll be damned, you were actually almost funny.
  23. There's nothing wrong with trading up if by doing so you acquire a starter or significant contributor. Beane locked down two of the most important positions on the field (QB, MLB) with three of his trade-ups, and Ford and Knox look to be starters for a while as well. Remember for so many years how boring the Bills were on draft day? Just staying in the slot and picking. I enjoy Beane's wheeling and dealing.
