  1. I can certainly appreciate your optimism but to say we're a "good bet for the playoffs and maybe more" is a terrible bet. This team struggled to win against an awful Carolina team and lost to a NE team that was at it's worst. I'm not down on us but we're not a playoff team and beyond. I actually think we're more talented than both teams we played so far and barely won one of those games. To me that means a lot has to come together and we're cautiously bringing EJ along. That's not a team poised for the playoffs and beyond. The future looks bright but the future isn't this year I'm afraid. I've said this a million times if I've said it once, great teams have a great QB and a head coach and QB with a great relationship. EJ appears to have the skills on the field and the mind to become a real good QB. Marrone and EJ seem to have the individual personalities to achieve the desired relationship needed to lead this team together. For those reasons I think you we can believe the "same old Bills" era is over. How far we take it from there is all on EJ's shoulders.

  3. A thread is needed? Why wouldn't you just send him a personal message?
  4. For me Lynch had a big likeability factor.
  5. I think he meant Marcell Dareus but just spelled it wrong.
  6. I'm a bit more concerned about the coaches maybe not being tough enough on not accepting mistakes. Go back and watch Marrone clapping after Aaron Williams late hit. The players seem a bit undisciplined and Hackett being allowed to call a similar game as week one has me concerned about the ship Marrone runs.
  7. Maybe it's the stupid ass behind the LOS and one yard pass routes. Hackett is disappointing and that's being nice. Then a throw to the back pile on to a TE, c'mon.
  8. Why does race have to be brought into this?
  9. Two for flinching!
  10. As a couple of others have said. I actually did spit my coffee out and laugh. Totally awesome, thank you.
  11. Don't be ashamed. I was LSHMBH (look that up, I had to).
  12. I've been around Jerry a few times at the Wellington Pub and the guy is just a bloviator. I believe his attitude is that he possesses the ability to think at a higher level than most. He lives in a city that has been declining economically and he commentates on sports teams that have had little success. The problem with him is he's attached all that to him being right. I fully understand that he capitalized on the teams he covers demise and decided to find success being hated. He believes he's being honest and just telling it like it is but. He's been quoted as saying “That people would think I was from here, that I would understand the way this town thinks, is really important to me because it’s important to the people here. They want you not necessarily to like them, but to get them.” Well that's just it, he's not from Buffalo and the folks that don't enjoy him feel that. He doesn't love the Bills or the Sabres or the City for that matter. He thinks he's figured out how to be like Buffalonians. The fact is he hasn't at all because he's missing the most important part. We've all criticized our home city our home teams, but it's the love that keeps us rooting. Sorry Jerry but that's one thing you can't fake.
  13. You forgot to tell God you haven't forgotten about not getting the Atari for Christmas.
  14. Not me and none of the ones I know. There are plenty of people from other parts of the country living in Charlotte that have switched but no Bills fans that I know. I think most would prefer they win but feel no connection whatsoever.
  15. Yes cause only people who are openly religious should be expected to tell the truth.
  16. This is BS. Spiller is a star running back and our coaches don't have a clue how to use him. That counter tray running play they kept running every single running play suites Freddy's game not Spillers. Freddy is a find the hole running back and Spiller needs open field. That was the most ridiculous play to keep calling constantly. C'mon that's all we have in the playbook for Spiller?
  17. If you don't see a difference between EJ and Geno beyond hope than there's nothing to say. Don't be afraid to start admitting EJ has something different about him. It remains to be seen if he'll be good or great, but he's not going to be a dud, and he's damn sure not Geno Smith.
  18. Well you were incorrect on the second prediction, now lets hope you're wrong on the first.
  19. You're not taking into account the probability of the morale aspect not working by not being successful with the first possession.
  20. I totally disagree. The franchise QB we've been waiting for is here and he's the reason to feel good about everything Buffalo Bills.
