  1. Seemed to me like that little guy did connect with a punch. It may not have been a thunderous one, but it did cause the guy to back up. I made that comment especially for you.
  2. Well we're both guessing here. Obviously you think he'd be a terrible basketball player. I however think he'd be excellent. I bet if you asked him to play in a pick up game he'd dominate everyone you brought down low. He's huge but far from a dork.
  3. Lines like this (both parties) will increasingly get crossed with the continual deterioration of our moral fiber. We think evolving will lead to a better society but it's not working out that way, hmmm.
  4. Owens. I thought he was going to elevate us to another level with Evans on the other side. I thought he'd make a star out of Edwards.
  5. Yeah then lets not let him dress for games, haha.
  6. Scratch golfer according to golf.com http://www.golf.com/tour-and-news/big-hitters-position-position-ranking-nfls-best-golfers-0
  7. I'm glad we won no doubt. But those were two pretty bad football teams.
  8. I think you're completely wrong about this. In college you only get a guy for 2-4 years so invariably you move on and get excited about the next guy. Especially at a program like FSU, it's next man up, and the fans act accordingly.
  9. My keys to this game: 1) We must win the turnover battle by 2. Our offense needs at least two additional possessions to make up for it's lack of being able to sustain scoring drives. 2) We must win possession time by more than 10:00 minutes. Our defense cannot afford to be on the field longer than our offense. Our offense is not efficient enough to overcome less possession time. 3) Game Plan. Our game plan has to be inventive. We must keep Miami off balance and do some things they don't expect. They are extremely vulnerable against the pass, which seems contrary to what we can do, but our offense has to be creative through the air.
  10. Why do you think we didn't trade him to Denver a first round pick?
  11. sure http://jimrome.com/2013/10/17/kiko-alonso/
  12. I generally think it's a great idea to make long term decisions on rookies (cutting them), after one game. That really is enough to see what you need to see.
  13. It's not about drop off for me. It's about getting EJ the games in for the invaluable experience they provide. The hope is the more he plays the closer he gets to being our savior at the position.
  14. You seriously don't think they thought that through?
  15. With due respect to Easley's stalwart special teams play, he must not be beating these guys out in practice. As others have said this coaching staff is clearly willing to give chances. We have to assume they aren't holding him back, he is.
  16. I don't know about run-stuffing but he's definitely done a great job on the edge.
  17. I heard him say that live and thought "wow those words are still tough to listen to". Haha
  18. Great post.
  19. I sure hope so. Maybe Hackett is a better teacher than game planner.
  20. I think it's certainly possible hamstring and lower back pain could be connected. To say they are connected would mean you think they always are and that is just simply false.
  21. I have two boys 7 & 8. My heart is broken for that little boy.
  22. Sounds like you didn't know him personally either.
