  1. No I don't "feel you" at all. I don't remember saying every player plays with no doubts or that every player thinks they've done everything right and can't get better. I said in general this team doesn't play like they are inferior of every opponent they play. I don't think they played like that today either. Feel me now?
  2. I totally disagree that we should have any of our QB's run more. The fumble on the first drive and what happened to EJ should be enough evidence. The only time I would want them to run is away from trouble and then slide asap. It's hard enough taking the hits in todays NFL when you don't want them, I don't want us inducing them.
  3. 1) We need a dominating WR. I like our WR corp, but there all just nice receivers, we need one that can do it all. It has to be a tall (6'3" or taller), big bodied, fast guy. 2) We need another very good corner. Our guys have performed admirably but another excellent corner is needed to deal with all the passing in today's NFL. 3) We need EJ to be the answer at QB. That's where I would start.
  4. I don't get the feeling this team has gone into games thinking they can't win. I don't think a loss to the Saints diminishes that.
  5. I actually have a lot of respect for him not giving up.
  6. Very nice work.
  7. I was scrolling down to make sure no one posted my thoughts. These are them.
  8. Maybe he really meant staff.
  9. Defensively the Saints are pretty good but clearly slowing their offense down is crucial. We aren't the type of team that can come back from a 2-3 score deficit. There's three crucial components to having a chance to win. Pressure on Brees, keeping Sproles in check, and stopping Graham. The Patriots did a decent job of doing this and still lost.
  10. Say you're right on every point you've ever made about how terrible this team has been and is. At what point do you look at yourself and say "I'm the fool for being a fan"? You comment on a team you have deep disdain for multiple times daily. How do you bring yourself to spend time on that without having serious criticism for yourself as nothing more than a martyr?
  11. Seemed to me like that little guy did connect with a punch. It may not have been a thunderous one, but it did cause the guy to back up. I made that comment especially for you.
  12. Well we're both guessing here. Obviously you think he'd be a terrible basketball player. I however think he'd be excellent. I bet if you asked him to play in a pick up game he'd dominate everyone you brought down low. He's huge but far from a dork.
  13. Lines like this (both parties) will increasingly get crossed with the continual deterioration of our moral fiber. We think evolving will lead to a better society but it's not working out that way, hmmm.
  14. Owens. I thought he was going to elevate us to another level with Evans on the other side. I thought he'd make a star out of Edwards.
  15. Yeah then lets not let him dress for games, haha.

  17. I'm glad we won no doubt. But those were two pretty bad football teams.
  18. I think you're completely wrong about this. In college you only get a guy for 2-4 years so invariably you move on and get excited about the next guy. Especially at a program like FSU, it's next man up, and the fans act accordingly.
  19. My keys to this game: 1) We must win the turnover battle by 2. Our offense needs at least two additional possessions to make up for it's lack of being able to sustain scoring drives. 2) We must win possession time by more than 10:00 minutes. Our defense cannot afford to be on the field longer than our offense. Our offense is not efficient enough to overcome less possession time. 3) Game Plan. Our game plan has to be inventive. We must keep Miami off balance and do some things they don't expect. They are extremely vulnerable against the pass, which seems contrary to what we can do, but our offense has to be creative through the air.
  20. Why do you think we didn't trade him to Denver a first round pick?
  21. sure http://jimrome.com/2013/10/17/kiko-alonso/
  22. I generally think it's a great idea to make long term decisions on rookies (cutting them), after one game. That really is enough to see what you need to see.
