  1. 1) How do you think this kind of tweet from a Christian would be taken? Thank you Jesus for my family. I have to pay $120 a week to save my f-ing life. Peace be upon you. The NFL is driving us to kill ourselves. Praise you Jesus. FU NFL for slave trade. ?? I'm just saying freedom of speech is criticized differently depending on what your religion is. If Tebow tweeted the example above he'd get maligned for it and he should and most wouldn't be saying what does his religion have to do with it.
  2. So in an effort to win now since our roster could be completely different in 2016 drafting a QB in the first round to maybe even back up EJ is the answer? That does sound simple. Simple minded.
  3. How much more should the NFL charge it's fans to pay for what the retirees want?
  4. I don't think his religion has anything to do with it. The post I replied to implied that he was being judged because of religious beliefs. My point was he wasn't. And if he was wouldn't it be disparaging to talk like that? Wouldn't that be the judgment if he was being judged by it? You took my post wrong, who cares what you think, it's called freedom of speech. So it's only freedom of speech if you agree.
  5. So you don't want to wait 3.5 years you want to say EJ doesn't have it after 2 games? Brilliant idea. EJ hasn't earned us sticking with him, but he's earned being out as our QB? Brilliant!
  6. Don't you think he went a little beyond voicing and opinion? What other religion would it be acceptable to talk like that?
  7. I'm not sure how you could arrive to that opinion on EJ. Obviously you didn't want us to draft him but there's no way to say he's not a "real QB", yet anyway.
  8. Flynn has a moderate to weak arm. I think Thad played admirably well considering the amount of time to prepare and with basically no NFL experience. Thank goodness it looks like Thad is playing.
  9. I'm in favor of having him sit out until after the bye week and let him play the last 5 games.
  10. yay, I don't now if you bring your sarcastic ether.
  11. LaCanfora said Josh Gordon could be had for a 2nd round pick and a player. I'd jump all over that if I'm the Bills. But the source is wearing rainbow loom bracelets, so....
  12. I'd rather he waits until the buy week is over. Take no risks and let him play the last 5 games to gain the experience for next year and beyond.
  13. I don't see why the Steelers wouldn't trade their first round draft pick who is essentially in his rookie year after missing the first with an injury for a player they can't guarantee will be with them next year. I can see where a Steeler team that's 2-5 and last in their division seeing a lot of value in that trade.
  14. No I don't "feel you" at all. I don't remember saying every player plays with no doubts or that every player thinks they've done everything right and can't get better. I said in general this team doesn't play like they are inferior of every opponent they play. I don't think they played like that today either. Feel me now?
  15. I totally disagree that we should have any of our QB's run more. The fumble on the first drive and what happened to EJ should be enough evidence. The only time I would want them to run is away from trouble and then slide asap. It's hard enough taking the hits in todays NFL when you don't want them, I don't want us inducing them.
  16. 1) We need a dominating WR. I like our WR corp, but there all just nice receivers, we need one that can do it all. It has to be a tall (6'3" or taller), big bodied, fast guy. 2) We need another very good corner. Our guys have performed admirably but another excellent corner is needed to deal with all the passing in today's NFL. 3) We need EJ to be the answer at QB. That's where I would start.
  17. I don't get the feeling this team has gone into games thinking they can't win. I don't think a loss to the Saints diminishes that.
  18. I actually have a lot of respect for him not giving up.
  19. Very nice work.
  20. I was scrolling down to make sure no one posted my thoughts. These are them.
  21. Maybe he really meant staff.
  22. Defensively the Saints are pretty good but clearly slowing their offense down is crucial. We aren't the type of team that can come back from a 2-3 score deficit. There's three crucial components to having a chance to win. Pressure on Brees, keeping Sproles in check, and stopping Graham. The Patriots did a decent job of doing this and still lost.
  23. Say you're right on every point you've ever made about how terrible this team has been and is. At what point do you look at yourself and say "I'm the fool for being a fan"? You comment on a team you have deep disdain for multiple times daily. How do you bring yourself to spend time on that without having serious criticism for yourself as nothing more than a martyr?
