  1. Why does it have to be high on the "things to fix list" to be concerned about it? We need corners so don't worry about the punter? As it stands alone the punter is an extremely important position. You don't think it's important to punt short kicks inside the 10 vs touch backs? Seriously?
  2. From what I've read it doesn't show up in X-rays. So it is the type of injury that could play into the conspiracy theory of "faking".
  3. What is wrong with some of you guys? Seriously! A few injuries and its like everything we've done is wrong now.
  4. This was already said but I can tell you're not very bright.
  5. I think an argument could be made that players may be more susceptible to being hurt in the regular season if they don't get some live action during the preseason games.
  6. I think there's a difference between a bad decision and a what has happened here. How do we know that EJ, Kolb, and Tuel aren't better off that they got more reps than other teams QB's that had 4? How could you measure that? How do we know it would have been a better organizational decision if we still had the injuries to Kolb and EJ but all through camp they all got less reps?
  7. Yeah but he kept saying it over and over and over. Wasn't it great?
  8. You're right it hasn't been talked about but I bet most of us are thinking about it. It's the most important thing that happened today. Why?
  9. I for one thoroughly enjoyed listening to Theisman. Just a terrific job.
  10. I guess it's about what you think he's an option for? To make the team, I'd hope not. To bring in so we can evaluate the rest of the players, so be it. Obviously we'll know more in the next few days but I think it's a little early to think they have to replace Kolb.
  11. I couldn't disagree more. His accuracy on downing the ball deep is really bad. It's crucial he gets better at that. He routinely kicks the ball way too short or lands it in the end zone. It's nice to see him not letting balls come off the side of the foot and he can bomb the ball no doubt. But punters are most valuable when they can control the ball on the short ones.
  12. CJ had a very nice 19 yard run and scored our lone TD. Kiko looked pretty good to me, had a couple nice hits and seemed to be in good position. Hughes had a couple nice pressures (1 sack if I remember right). Gilmore got beat once but covered well otherwise and dropped a would be interception. There was so much bad in every aspect that it made it very difficult to even think about anything good, but this was my take.
  13. I don't think this is an act of desperation, it's a matter of having enough QB's to throw balls in practice starting Monday. We can't let Tuel do all the throwing, we still have to evaluate and make cuts, how else would we do that? Rest assured fellow Bills fans we have EJ Manuel. He's the reason to be excited about this team and to not worry. I think we'll see him throwing a bit this week but they aren't going to put him in with pads on, that's what Beck and/or Leinart will do.
  14. Hilarious. I'm surprised it wasn't brought up until you posted.
  15. Charlotte I can see where you'd get that we live together by saying "in Carolina". Wow, great thinking.
  16. You're comfortable saying Goodwin is the most impressive rookie, but not that EJ is most promising because he hasn't played a regular season game? Why doesn't it make you laugh for someone to say Goodwin is impressive? He "hasn't really done anything yet, but we think he might someday."
  17. Great work. Also pretty sad that we have so many players with 7 years or less with the team breaking into top 10 categories.
  18. Brady looks different to me like he's ultra concerned about getting hit. Maybe it's just the pre-season and trying to stay healthy but he looks to get rattled easier than I ever remember.
  19. Very cool, wish I could be there too. Me and jboyst will have to host one in Carolina.
  20. ...says Uncle Monkey Head
  21. I usually ignore posts like this but this time I'm saying something. I really hate post like this. Why can't you just give your opinion and save all the "not sure if any of you can read" BS? There were 5 comments prior to your post and you start saying things about "putting down the pitchforks". Then after your ridiculous lecture you're going to say C'mon kids, grow up. You actually had some very good points in your post and could have actually been taken seriously. Totally uncalled for and frankly boring.
  22. Relax Cookie Monster. I just stated where all that's coming from.
  23. It's been on the bottom ticker on both ESPN and the NFL network since last night. I believe Ian Rapoport reported it first.
  24. To me it's about one thing, if EJ's knee is ready to go he starts. I wouldn't even entertain the idea of Kolb playing well enough to let EJ rest one more week. If EJ's not quite ready and Kolb plays terrible Kolb plays anyway. If EJ's healthy and Kolb lights it up, EJ starts. Thus for me making this game irrelevant. What were your thoughts on this game possibly changing your vote?
