No. There are at least five free agent RB's that I would choose over Best right now and none of them are better than Fred Jackson. I don't want any part of having them "on the field simultaneously" for certain. I think Choice is getting cut and I like the idea of Zach Brown making the team.

For me it isn't necessarily about this season. Optimism for this team should and is centered around Manuel. I'm all about seeing how the rest of the team progresses in preparation of E.J.'s potential emergence as the future leader of this's team. I believe we have an opportunity as other teams have done to build the team until this occurs. These two roads will meet at some point and its going to be interesting to see where the team is when it's chosen QB takes over.

This is patently wrong. Free agents often go to teams without being a winning program. Of course they would always sign with the better team if the money is the same, but that's just it, it usually isn't. I don't get what you're disagreeing with when you say "Winning teams usually have good QB play."?
