  1. A lot of folks believe he'll be available in the 3-3.5 million per range. I think it'll take more like 3 years 15 million and about half guaranteed.
  2. At first I couldn't stand that Sunday Night Song, then it started growing on me and I find myself singing it in my head.
  3. I enjoyed that. There was certainly a lot of smiles and hand shaking going on. If nothing else it appears they accomplished what they wanted to.
  4. This is exactly right, great post.
  5. Great quote from Davis. I can see where you got the notion he's kicking himself.
  6. Don't you know the world is looking for an active playing superstar to be gay?
  7. Marone doesn't seem like the type of guy that concedes to anything. I doubt that he has a preconceived notion that "we aren't going anywhere this year". If EJ doesn't win the starting job and we don't go anywhere with Kolb wouldn't that be the time to bring in EJ? If we go with your premiss, and Marrone already knows we aren't going to win this year, why wouldn't it be a real possibility he'd play him immediately?
  8. This is a very interesting topic and a valid concern. I really don't know who will be leaders. I think Byrd, Gillmore, and Mario will lead with their play but don't stike me as vocal leaders. Typically you look to your middle LB's so here's hoping Bradham's got it in him. My guess is Pettine will coach someone through a leadership role unless he gets the opportunity to bring someone in. Looking at Kiko's play he seems like a spark plug type player and is probably the future leader.
  9. I like the possibility of him.
  10. I think LT was the best but Derrick Thomas was awesome. I believe if he would have played a few more years he would have been the all time best.
  11. In late March he said we have the 4th worst roster in the NFL, now we "could be one of the most exciting offenses in 2013"? I vehemently disagreed with his article about our roster and I can't take him seriously now. Psycho! http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap1000000154500/article/nfls-five-weakest-rosters-jacksonville-jaguars-at-top
  12. Buddy has to say those things and I think it has very little to do with messages to Dansby. I think it has everything to do with placating to us the fans. Could you imagine if Buddy said "We are still trying to work on a deal with Karlos. We think it would be beneficial to have our rookie learn and then work his way into a starting role with a greater knowledge and refined skills of the game at the NFL level." Then we don't sign Dansby. What would he say then? "Hey forget all what I said this rookie is ready and can do all the same things as this very productive proven vet."
  13. I'm not sure what you mean or what he means by "multiple"? Could you explain I haven't picked up on that.
  14. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0rLOEvYULfY
  15. I imagine they like everyone they've signed, but I doubt they will depend on him in a starting capacity.
  16. The more I think about it the more I think these means Dansby gets signed. Has that been said yet?
  17. I think it's a bit unfair to depict the Colts FO in this way. They are trying just like every other team to add good football players to their team.
  18. He's got a lot of nerve rating anyone so let's grade him. There's a list of Kiper's best available players shown on the screen during the draft, yet hours go by and the list doesn't change. I grade him an F. Secondly if we got the worst grade at C- and we all know some teams will end up with a D or F he's way off there too. Ok he's just doing his ratings are not only often wrong but there worthless, these young men that were drafted will show the grades on the field.
  19. Absolutely this. We weren't afraid to be wrong.
  20. I highly doubt it will happen but I'd love for it to be Zac Dysert.
  21. I think it's completely unfair to compare Geno's reactions during the draft and Manuel's. I'm very impressed with Manuel as he seems like a young man with a great head on his shoulders and his parents should be proud, but it most assuredly was easier for him to act positively being the first QB taken. In saying that I do think we drafted the better leader. There was a video of them both on the red carpet (I can't find it), but I noticed when they were done posing for pictures Manuel walked in front of Geno and he sort of looked away cowardly almost conceiding to EJ to let him walk in across and in front of him that stuck in my mind. I know it's something ridiculous and small but it was just something I noticed and it made me feel that EJ's presense was dominating the moment. In this video cut it's clear to me that EJ carries himself much better IMO. It probably doesn't mean a lot but to me it does mean something. http://www.nfl.com/videos/nfl-network-total-access/0ap2000000163447/Smith-Manuel-on-red-carpet-with-Deion
  22. Aren't pro bowlers pro football players?
  23. I didn't I must have been late hearing about Early's comeback?
  24. We know you menat Easley, but don't forget Kevin Elliott who might compete for a spot. (Chris Hogan is technically there also). I'm believing this is going to be a strength in the near future.
  25. And you think we'll get this safety making Kelly even more upset?
