  1. The Bills have created almost an identical situation that we saw play out on Hard Knocks with the Dolphins.
  2. In fairness gotta put Byrd, Brown, and Lawson in there too.
  3. What an absurd unfounded statement.
  4. It is if their all rookies and the process is the same. With someone who has played you have a good understanding of what he can do in the pro's. Pre-season is hardly enough time to evaluate 3 rookies. What would you do with the rookie you draft in the second round that doesn't win the job? Give him the backup job which is mostly resigned to veterans who can step in because of their experience?
  5. Oh makes sense now. Open it up, let the best man win, and your other rookie is your backup, and your other rookie is 3rd string. Right? Then if that doesn't work just switch 'em. Right? Got it! You truly are "The Voice of Truth".
  6. How the hell did Gillmore know about this so soon?
  7. How would you decide which one to go with long term? Training camp? Or just give up on one every year or two and go to the next?
  8. I've been saying it over and over. The more people see Dysert the more it's obvious he is really really good.
  9. They took that disgusting low life comment down huh?
  10. You make a good point with using the last two years of numbers identifying a more fair comparison for Davis. Yes Davis leads by a wide margin in catches/yds but the TD's is wide enough to argue he's the more effective TE. I'm just pointing out that Chandler has played admirably better than most Bills fans give him credit for.
  11. You keep referring to the article as if it's gospel. I merely pointed out it's inadequacies and contradictions. Clearly the article is lazy and picked out teams that are void of an answer at QB. If they would have stopped there they would have been correct, but that's where the article went wrong for me. They tried to spin it as if they did research and actually looked at the entire roster. I'm merely following suite of this ridiculous article and if they want to pretend QB is not the reason for their evaluation then they couldn't be more wrong about the Bills. You keep using words like "stockpiles" of talent. Why? I never even came close to making such claims, yet you keep on with your sarcasm of which you're so quick to accuse. Lastly Sir, do you really find it necessary to call me a troll? Can we not have a debate without the innuendo? I edited my response twice because I started to do it back, but good Lord man we are Bills fans. I'm disagreeing with an article that is bashing my team. I find it counterproductive to argue with a fellow Bills fan especially when you're trying to mock me.
  12. They're not as loaded as teams like Arizona, Carolina, Oakland, Jacksonville, Cleveland, NY Jets, S.D. St. Louis and Tennessee.
  13. I hear ya, but don't know that it's proof.
  14. Yes. How does that prove Davis at 80% is better than anyone we've had the last 5 years?
  15. You mentioned we got beat by San Fran and Seattle. Would you agree that they are super bowl contending teams? I simply put that connection together with you mentioning them specifically. You're talking about records and I thought this whole discussion was about rosters. Yes record isn't conjecture but you changed the topic. So my opinion is that the argument is Teams that make the playoffs have their QB situation solved. I'm arguing that our roster is good and better than teams mentioned in this article and others and better than we as a fan base give our FO credit for. Agreeing or disagreeing with that is conjecture. Therefore it's my opinion. For example the Panthers have Cam Newton so they have a huge advantage but their roster is awful and they are in salary cap hell, yet they don't make the list and the Bills do. To me it's clear why we are on the list. We don't have a QB. I just don't think that's a fair assessment of our roster as a whole.
  16. I agree with you on Kolb over Flynn.
  17. Youthinks Spiller is our only talented player? Now that doesn't even have fizzle, that's a 2 liter of pop sitting open on the counter for a Month. I think we have a better roster than most think and it's lazy and easy to just say we don't.
  18. I never said we were capable of beating super bowl contending teams nor did I say we are close to being a serious playoff contending team. I know you want to get emotional but try to trust your eyes and not your heart. I said we are a viable team (that means capable), and have enough talent with a QB that could win. Of course we have holes and some are gaping, but I think most teams do. Not the super bowl contending teams but the good teams trying to get there have them. I also realize that what I'm saying is conjecture and can't be proven but with all do respect so is this article and everything you've said. We just don't know what kind of team we would have if we had a QB. I'm of the opinion that with one we could win.
  19. I totally disagree with everything you've said. Everything! 1) "We have a small salary cap problem" - Wrong 2) "Paying too much for many players" - Wrong. Definition of many is majority or a large number. You can't name 10% of our players we're "over paying". In fact you said "Can anyone tell me who we are overpaying...to be in that trouble..it must be everyone". 3) "No one wants to play for the Bills without being overpaid" - Wrong. Stevie took a very reasonable salary. 4) "and we allow ourselves to create another hole" (with letting Levitre go) - You chastise our FO for being fiscally irresponsible so that players who normally wouldn't want to play here will. Then want to over pay a guard? Is this your plan for getting us out of the "salary cap problem"? We are a team void of a quarterback. I'd argue we are in better shape than other teams that have decided on a QB but they just haven't admitted he's not the one to lead them .... yet. We have made that decision and are in a position to try again. We are in excellent financial standing. We are also a team that has a lot of talent which in years past wasn't the case. This front office has done a good job, not great, but a good job of building a viable team. With a solid QB we can win now, and with a good QB could go to the playoffs.
  20. How did you come up with the rake analogy? How about "Did he borrow Wilma Flintstone's cell phone to take that picture?" Hahahahaha
  21. How would you make the logo better? It's a Dolphin!
  22. Don't check to stop from hurting feelings, check so you'll know what you're talking about, which you clearly don't. " According to a league document obtained by Gaughan, Anderson's contract is actually worth $19.5 million over four years - a rather substantial discrepancy. Gaughan also notes that the only portion of Anderson's salary that is guaranteed is $7.9 million, which includes a $6 million signing bonus and his first-year salary of $1.9 million. He'll earn an additional $100,000 from a workout bonus. If the Bills wish to cut ties with him at any point after his initial season, they can do so and not owe him anything. Anderson's base salary will be $2.5 million, $4 million and $5 million in respective subsequent years. The $4.875 million per year average will likely be much more palatable to Bills fans than the $6.875 million deal that was reported last week"
  23. I'm not so sure I agree with you. I think that there may be some hate but by in large that person will be protected. In fact I think even more than the non gay players. Would you want to be the coach that is faced with having to cut the first gay player? Would you like to be the men that play the same position as the gay player, feeling like you'll get cut before they will? I do think there will be whispers and stuff like that, but there won't be an outrage. This person is going to be exalted.
  24. Here's what's on my mind about it (shut up jboyst, haha). What if the said player comes out and then gets cut in preseason cuts or worse doesn't get cut and should have? Or say the gay player gets cut 2 years into a 5 year deal like many many many NFL players do? It's going to cause a storm that no one will be able to contain. No one ever talks about how negative it can be to make such an announcement.
