  1. Should we draft him in the first round?
  2. I hear what you're saying but I just don't think worrying about the RB position is worth attempting to fill absolute needs. I wouldn't be opposed to signing an undrafted free agent or something like that, but we cannot afford to worry about things that aren't concerns at this point in the 4th round.
  3. I think a Tom Brady roast is in order.
  4. I don't understand how you can be so sure he "won't get picked day 1" and he's "definitely a round 2 guy". Now that might be your valuation but that's something different than saying you think every NFL team thinks that way. The reason watching Brady and Rodgers was so painful is because they were expected to go in the top portion of the draft. I dont' think anyone feels that certian about EJ so I don't see the harm in him being there. Even if he gets picked in day 2 as you suggest, that's where most have him slotted anyway so it wouldn't be a big surprise. If he does get picked earlier he'll be there to enjoy it.
  5. "But the Bills need to be ready at No. 8, in the event someone else takes quarterback Geno Smith before Buffalo is on the clock. The options at that point will include: (1) taking a different quarterback; (2) trading down for a different quarterback; (3) using the pick on someone else." "That someone else could be Jones, who could play outside or inside linebacker in the Bills’ new 3-4 defense. Of course, that assumes Jones would also be available at No. 8. At this point, no one really knows where anyone will or won’t be in the top 10 ." Thanks Florio. I know a lot of people like this guy, but I've never been on board with him.
  6. I'm having a difficult time deciding what I'd like the Bills to do in this years draft. Just like most of you I enjoy settling in on my own personal draft strategy I'd prefer the Bills to employ and then it's fun to see how it all unfolds. Usually I'm at that point by this time of year and have fortified into my stance. This year has been strangely more arduous for me to take a position. I've changed my mind at least 10 times. I finally figured out why I'm so off kilter, for the first time in long memory I haven't been able to decide what I want them to do with our first pick. For your amusement I'll share what I'm narrowing it down to. I am really starting to warm up to drafting an offensive lineman with our first pick and not drafting a QB even if no QB has been taken. In this scenario I want the Bills to draft one of the top left tackles or Warmack. The Bills aren't great at any particlular unit (although an argument could be made at RB). I believe they could be if they drafted a left tackle or Warmack and signed Clabo for a contract in the 3 year $12 million range should do it. A line with rookie LT, Glenn, Wood, Urbik, and Clabo or Glenn, Warmack, Wood Urbik, and Clabo sounds awfully good to me. Then Hairston, Brown, and Pears provide excellent depth. Levitre would instantly become a distant memory as our offensive line would be better than it was with him. I want Dion Jordan period. If he's there it takes me less than 10 seconds to make my selection. IMO our D-line/Pass rush is our next best chance to have a great unit somewhere. All indications are he won't be there. I also agree with Bill Parcels assessment that pass rushing LB's are his favorite postion for maximum value. If neither of these strategies happen I then turn my hopes into drafting Ogletree. He plugs a major hole in our defense. What say you?
  7. What if the team at 11 wants to trade up, who's worthy of the 11th pick that's not at 8? If no one, what pick do players in this years draft start becoming worthy to you? I love how someone makes such a demonstrative statement then wants everyone else to give the answers to support it.
  8. I still think Brandon Lloyd could help this team. I understand there's a rumor of him not being that great of a teammate, but chemistry is about 4th on the list right now, we need someone that can catch some balls and get open. I think he can still do that. He's not exactly Titus Young nuts. Our receiver situation is such a major concern to me. At this point we have to rely on Graham and Easley to instantly become major contributors. That scares the hell out of me.
  9. I absolutely love when things like this happen. It's the ultimate shut up to those that bash the FO for every single player that doesn't sign with us.
  10. This is the same women that claimed she got hit by Beast Mode. She can't stay out of the news.
  11. That tricky liar used Buffalo to get that sweetheart lucrative 1 year deal worth less than half what he made the previous year.
  12. "Of course, that also suggests over 50 percent of "winning games" is unrelated to "drafting well," It's quotes like this that make me so frustrated. To me it points to one simple thing. You either have a QB or you don't.
  13. The Bills have created almost an identical situation that we saw play out on Hard Knocks with the Dolphins.
  14. In fairness gotta put Byrd, Brown, and Lawson in there too.
  15. What an absurd unfounded statement.
  16. It is if their all rookies and the process is the same. With someone who has played you have a good understanding of what he can do in the pro's. Pre-season is hardly enough time to evaluate 3 rookies. What would you do with the rookie you draft in the second round that doesn't win the job? Give him the backup job which is mostly resigned to veterans who can step in because of their experience?
  17. Oh makes sense now. Open it up, let the best man win, and your other rookie is your backup, and your other rookie is 3rd string. Right? Then if that doesn't work just switch 'em. Right? Got it! You truly are "The Voice of Truth".
  18. How the hell did Gillmore know about this so soon?
  19. How would you decide which one to go with long term? Training camp? Or just give up on one every year or two and go to the next?
  20. I've been saying it over and over. The more people see Dysert the more it's obvious he is really really good.
  21. They took that disgusting low life comment down huh?
  22. You make a good point with using the last two years of numbers identifying a more fair comparison for Davis. Yes Davis leads by a wide margin in catches/yds but the TD's is wide enough to argue he's the more effective TE. I'm just pointing out that Chandler has played admirably better than most Bills fans give him credit for.
  23. You keep referring to the article as if it's gospel. I merely pointed out it's inadequacies and contradictions. Clearly the article is lazy and picked out teams that are void of an answer at QB. If they would have stopped there they would have been correct, but that's where the article went wrong for me. They tried to spin it as if they did research and actually looked at the entire roster. I'm merely following suite of this ridiculous article and if they want to pretend QB is not the reason for their evaluation then they couldn't be more wrong about the Bills. You keep using words like "stockpiles" of talent. Why? I never even came close to making such claims, yet you keep on with your sarcasm of which you're so quick to accuse. Lastly Sir, do you really find it necessary to call me a troll? Can we not have a debate without the innuendo? I edited my response twice because I started to do it back, but good Lord man we are Bills fans. I'm disagreeing with an article that is bashing my team. I find it counterproductive to argue with a fellow Bills fan especially when you're trying to mock me.
  24. They're not as loaded as teams like Arizona, Carolina, Oakland, Jacksonville, Cleveland, NY Jets, S.D. St. Louis and Tennessee.
