In late March he said we have the 4th worst roster in the NFL, now we "could be one of the most exciting offenses in 2013"? I vehemently disagreed with his article about our roster and I can't take him seriously now. Psycho!

Buddy has to say those things and I think it has very little to do with messages to Dansby. I think it has everything to do with placating to us the fans. Could you imagine if Buddy said "We are still trying to work on a deal with Karlos. We think it would be beneficial to have our rookie learn and then work his way into a starting role with a greater knowledge and refined skills of the game at the NFL level." Then we don't sign Dansby. What would he say then? "Hey forget all what I said this rookie is ready and can do all the same things as this very productive proven vet."
He's got a lot of nerve rating anyone so let's grade him. There's a list of Kiper's best available players shown on the screen during the draft, yet hours go by and the list doesn't change. I grade him an F.
Secondly if we got the worst grade at C- and we all know some teams will end up with a D or F he's way off there too. Ok he's just doing his ratings are not only often wrong but there worthless, these young men that were drafted will show the grades on the field.
I think it's completely unfair to compare Geno's reactions during the draft and Manuel's. I'm very impressed with Manuel as he seems like a young man with a great head on his shoulders and his parents should be proud, but it most assuredly was easier for him to act positively being the first QB taken.
In saying that I do think we drafted the better leader. There was a video of them both on the red carpet (I can't find it), but I noticed when they were done posing for pictures Manuel walked in front of Geno and he sort of looked away cowardly almost conceiding to EJ to let him walk in across and in front of him that stuck in my mind. I know it's something ridiculous and small but it was just something I noticed and it made me feel that EJ's presense was dominating the moment.
In this video cut it's clear to me that EJ carries himself much better IMO. It probably doesn't mean a lot but to me it does mean something.

We know you menat Easley, but don't forget Kevin Elliott who might compete for a spot. (Chris Hogan is technically there also). I'm believing this is going to be a strength in the near future.
"Well, perhaps Nix should have gone into detailed specifics about where his roster is lacking" Nix has said they need a QB, LB, TE, and another WR repeatedly. Most think he's been too forthcoming.
Did you hear what Jeremiah said when he picked Austin to the Bills? He said I love dreaming about messing with defenses using Spiller and Austin on the same side of the ball, who's gonna get it?
Well you're bringing up two different topics. One is viewership and the other is participation. Viewership has little to do with those that actually played or played with any longevity. Being more expensive may be a valid point but I think with different creative ways it has been more affordable or there's help for those that can't. In saying that soccer is less expensive but will never over take football based largely on that.
Is this advantageous to the Bills this year? The difference between the 1st overall pick value and ours at #8 is over double. Yet in this years draft I don't see that variation in talent this year. So does it diminish the value of our pick (trade value) or does it elevate it because you can get 2nd overall pick talent at 8? I'm honestly not sure.
Zac Dysert to me is going to be an NFL star. I do realize it's not ever going to happen.
Unless you believe Barkley or Nassib are uniquely football smart you can't take them imo, they just aren't physically gifted enough. If you're not totally sold that their football IQ overwhelms you then you better go with the uber physically talented and hope you can teach, so on the list provided I would choose Manuel.
