  1. not if they jump up and get Rosen in the draft!
  2. Unfortunately everyone thinks they are interchangeable from the point of draft position...meaning they would be happy if they got any one of the QB at their position. Here is what we see in media Darnold - He is considered a Interception M/C Rosen - He has attitude issues Mayfield - 6' ft and Mayfield will always be tied together Allen - His 55% completion will always be mentioned on every turn Jackson - Is he a QB ?? One says he is electric and the other says he is a WR!!! Mason - What is his weakness...It varies.... All this will be resolved in a week in Jones's building!
  3. There are a few dark horse like Arizona, Baltimore, New England, Pittsburgh, Miami who given an opportunity will jump between that 5-12 to get one of these four QBs. The Bills would be foolish if they stood at 12 or 21 for their QB unless they are happy with a Mason Rudolph or Lamar Jackson. This is going to be one of the most anticipated draft as there is likely hood of 6 QBs going in the top 15 if these teams have their way!
  4. How many games did we win by a blowout and how many games did we lose by a blowout. A Starting QB for the team for three seasons should be able to do both...win blowouts and lose by small margins. We lost a way too many games were we were slaughtered. And the 3 points in the playoffs was the final straw.
  5. And the 83 draft had 3 from the AFC East with the Bills, Dolphins and Patriots picking 1st Round QBs.
  6. The media is going to kill them either way. If they pick in the top-5 of the draft, they will be crucified for shelling out all those draft picks. On the other hand, if they didn't pick a top-3 QB they will be attacked for being weak especailly after loading up on all the draft picks over the off season. Bean and McD will get hit either way
  7. At this time of the year, it is hard to believe who is telling the truth. Everyone is getting someone to talk about them. The stakes have become way too high....This is an exciting year when 6 QBs are likely to go in the top 15 and may be even a few other in the top half of the 2nd round.....
  8. So the media is trying to nudge Tom Brady out of that building?
  9. ESPN will tear into us and give a F on every draft grade...Rodak will term us as 1-15 team...NFL Network will call us out for not using the two 1st rounders and compare us with NE on how they maneuvered the draft with their 2 1st rd picks and got their Franchise QB of the future...We will be criticized for drafting the two guys who tore their ACL and Menascus during private workouts as our two 1st rounders !!!!!!
  10. We went into foxboro with a fighting chance and would have taken the lead.....with Tyrod Taylor
  11. They don't have the capital unless they trade Brady!!!!!
  12. We already have enough draft capital to trade up this year and get our guy. The questions being asked on this board is whether the bills want to pay so many draft picks to get their QB. My question is: Why would that question go away next year unless and until we tank and get the #2 pick like the Giants. The Bills simply have to decide the value of their picks and the QB they can draft with them. If they convince themselves that the value is there, they will go get their guy in this years draft. We don't know what Bean and McDermott are thinking right now. I mean, you have to use your draft picks to get the players you want.
  13. Accurate QBs are always in demand. We haven't had one like that in a long time.
  14. I agree. Considering what the Jets paid for #3 to the Colts, I don't see how TB takes a 52 (a low 2nd round pick) to switch 7 slots and then Denver turning around and taking only the last 3rd round pick!!!...That is plain laughable trade if it went that way. Exciting draft day for sure this time.
  15. They definitely are not high on A.J. Otherwise, they would have got him early in the offseason. He was what was left over from the FA grab-your-qb-festival. The Bills need to *TRY* and invest in a QB who has a chance to succeed. The Bills have to pray that Denver does not want one of the big four QBs so that they can get the 4th available QB in a trade witb Denver or Colts and don't allow a Baltimore or Arizona to swoop in. WHat does this got to do with the Jets. The Jets are positioned themselves to get the 3rd best QB (as per the draft order) and may be the best QB from their perspective with the 3rd pick
  16. Agreed. They said the same things for EJ Manuel. Bad receivers on the team...blah..blah.
  17. The Browns cannot afford to miss out on Franchise QBs in spite of getting multiple chances at it. It would be catastrophic for that city for their team to keep ignoring the QBs.
  18. I have to believe that the Bills are ok with any of the four QBs. They are going to go up and get one of those four. If they can't find a willing trade partner, I guess they stay back and then draft Lamar Jackson. May be he is more a better version of Cam Newton than a Tyrod Taylor.
  19. I am sure you will buy that house on the beach if you have the Million dollars. Bills fans believe that the team has the ammunition (draft-cash) to trade up and get one of those four QBs just like you would buy the million dollar home. So there is no lunacy to the thinking.
  20. I doubt the draft capital required to move to 4 is just an extra 1st rounder!
  21. Yes. This team believes in itself. It willed itself to 9 wins without an offense and a leaky defense. With the additions with the number of draft picks this team does have it in them to go into the playoffs again even with AJ.
