  1. There are four 4 blue chip QBs (Possibly) and a super start RB...The first five picks of the draft could be set with them and Browns could take 2 of those 5 players @ 1 and @4. I definitely see the Giants take a Blue chip prospect at #2....The wild card really is Indy. Can they slide to the Jets or Broncos spot and still get their DE or are they prepared to trade down to 12 to get multiple picks but lose out on a Blue Chip prospect. It is 2004 all over again...We are getting screwed like how we lost out on Eli/Rivers/Big-Ben and panicked and took Losman
  2. I hope the Bills give their next years 1st instead of that 22nd pick.
  3. For once this team needs to go up and get its Franchise QB. There has not been one for 22 years and counting...That is a long time ago and this city deserves its own Franchise QB especially considering how the Patriots (Bledsoe, Brady), Colts (Manning, Luck), Giants (Eli, this years Franchise QB) have lucked out,
  4. Yeah. Amazing how the QBs have lined themselves at Washington (Smith), Denver (Keenum), Minny (Cousins), Browns (Tyrod) , Jets (Bridgewater) leaving us and the cardinals to fight for Bradford. Where does this leave Foles...Will that be the loser of the Bradford sweepstakes ?
  5. That is if Sammy can stay on the field
  6. Not to forget Kareem Hunt's running! That is a scary offense under Andy Reid's guidance.
  7. We have zero pass rush. Pass rushers don't grow on trees. He is not being over-paid. Glenn trade was acceptable because the front office already had a player to replace him. However, that would not be the case with Hughes.
  8. I got to agree ...I don't think the Bills need to go to #2 to get Mayfield. He may be even available at #8 once FA settles down
  9. And Derek Anderson (Yikes) with his carolina connection!!!!
  10. Agreed..More of who is the Akili Smith or Jamrcus Russell or Heath Shuler...
  11. Any team that signs McAaron will still be drafting a QB in the 1st round, especially when they own a top-10 pick
  12. And they did trade up last year to get the players they coveted. They were also not afraid to make a in-season trade to get Benjamin. They have been one of the most active team through the entire season. The beauty of it is that McDermott has still been able to focus on getting his players ready to play for all the 18 weeks. If he had a playoff caliber QB, then they win the Jacksonville game.
  13. All the teams that are going to draft a QB in Rd 1 of this draft will also need a veteran QB to run the show for the first half of the season or may be even the entire season and then take a back seat for the next two years as the back up. That includes the Jets, Broncos, Cardninals, Cleveland, Minnesota, Bills. The Browns have traded for TT to be that guy. The rest have to pick between Bridgewater, Keenam, Bradford, Foles, Moore, McCown and may be even Osweiler. So there is going to be competition for both the Veteran QB as well as the one to draft.
  14. Firstly, Tyrod only has ONE year left on his contract. Secondly, The Browns will be terrible if they ignore QB in a QB Rich draft and are getting to run by with TT for the next few years. +1 Plus he beat the curse of us missing the playoffs
  15. Bridgewater, Bradford, Glennon are equally (if not better) choices....The biggest concern with Bridgewater is his injury...and then there is Nick Foles that could be had via Trade
  16. +1 and he struggled to adjust. They need a better leader of the Defense
  17. McCarron was the starting QB of the National Champions. I think there is plenty of body of work there for Coaches to evaluate. I would definitely take a flyer on him rather than Keenum who may be a one-year wonder and Bridgewater who may never recover from the gruesome injury. And please NO to Derek Anderson. He is a washed up backup QB who has no ability to be a starting QB, even if he is a bridge QB. And they are comfortable in that there is more QBs available via FA and the star studded Draft this year than any previous years and they feel any one of them will be better than TT. FA QBs that need a job are : Keenum, Bridgewater, Bradford, Cousins, Glennon, McCarron Draft - Sam, the two Josh's, Baker, and on Possible via Trade - Foles And whatever happened to the whole thing about Green Bay having to make Aaron Rodgers a FA!!!! The market is flooded indeed...even if there are many QB needy teams indeed.
  18. Evan's signed a 82M contract to stay with Tampa Bay. Drafted in the same year as Watkins.
  19. I agree. But I think there is more to it than just the #s you write. He had difficulty bringing the team back in the 4th quarter. They had difficulty moving the ball in the 1st quarter. We were never in the games against really competitive teams...ala Saints, Chargers, Patriots...We were routed in all those games. TT was good but a limited QB.
  20. Then why wouldn't you just start Nate Peterman. He is now experienced in this system for a season.
  21. I think we can get a late 2nd or a early 3rd for him. Good LTs are hard to find. I would keep Lawson. He has been injured and has a potential to be a good situational player on a rookie contract. May be the light will go on soemtime in the next two years.
  22. Yes. If they deem he will stabilize this franchise at the most important position in the next Ten years.
  23. If they were going to tank, 2017 should have been the year to tank, so that they can get their Franchise QBs and the draft capital without having to pay the ransom now that they have to do to move to the top 5. Doesn't make sense
  24. Add more doesn't really add value, if you cannot get the stars to form the base for the next five years.
