Disagree. Josh Allen has the arm to get the ball to even average WRs as long as Davis, Diggs and Knox are on the field. He even got a 100 yard game for McKenzie against the Patriots. We really lack a home run hitter at RB....The presence of a Hall will bring more fear to this offense and it will truly be unstoppable.
It appears that the 4 best CBs in the 1st round will be long gone by the time the Bills will pick. I think they may have to trade down in the 1st or a trade up to the top of the 2nd to get the 2nd tier ofCBs that they covet.
Jets also have a big need at DB....Sauce Gardner looks too difficult to pass up in the top 10. Damn the Dolphins and Jets for having all these top picks.
I think he still needs to work on his ball placement accuracy and skills. On several occasions, his WRs have not been able to catch the ball in stride and continue for more YAC. Josh himself had stated that in his last off season. I think he still has quite a bit of work cut out there.
Mel Kiper had many several good reasons (on draft day)
* Accuracy - Allen threw only an average of 25 times a game whereas the big guns threw 40 times a game...The margin of error on completion % for Allen was way too high.
* Success - Wyoming lost multiple players on offense to the NFL in Josh's senior year. You cannot load up in Wyoming.
* The kid has heart and works very hard at his craft. He is a best fit for the city of Buffalo

Agreed. Currently, both Poyer and Hyde have salary cap hits of 11 M and 8M this year. I can't see this team go to next year with that kind of cap hit (by extending Poyer). They will have to use that money to pay Digss, Knox, Edmunds
It was already in that range last year itself. Hopkins had a deal for 26M per year....the others are simply following suit.
I think Beane made a mistake in not extending Diggs early in the off season (like he did with Allen last year when. Browns and Baltimore did not). He could have saved 2M a year in salary/salary cap; now he has to pay the same as Adams, Hill to Diggs. You want to be the market setter and not get behind.
I think the Bills will have to now wait to pay Diggs next year (along with Edmunds and Knox)
THis year is going to be critically important for some of our top draft picks to come through.
