  1. His helmet hit him on the chin...but still too close to the head I think the Ref felt very sorry for the Falcon defender...I mean you never know if Josh is ever going to slide feet first and avoid that contact...All these players have been asked to hit 17 and hit him hard...
  2. We have come a long way from the time when our Punter was the MVP
  3. We wouldn't be division winners. There would be 4 9-7 and 1 8-8 (Baltmore) + a. 8-7 (if Steelers win on MNF) vying for 3 Playoff spots. Since Chargers and Raiders play and one will not be 10-7, we would be punching our ticket to the Playoffs.
  4. His first INT was a bad play. He was trying to force the pass and was tipped into the hands of another defender...He instead could have run it and got 5-6 yards out of the play. His second INT was simply a timing route that misfired. Beasley was jammed (very late in the route) and the ball had already left Josh's hands. Can't do much about it. The third INT was also a timing route that did not materialize. Today ti almost felt like Josh was destined have a bad game...The first 2-3 drives had so many drops....Diggs missing that easy TD. Overall a poor game for passing...but the guy was all guts to get hammered on all those runs.
  5. Running against the 28th ranked Run defense (and recognition of that by Daboll) helps
  6. The Falcons are NOT good at stopping the run. They are 28th in the league against total yards and given up 19 rushing TDs...(28th). The Bills need to continue to improve running the football. Our stats are masked by Josh Allen's contribution
  7. I think at this time he is bigger than Jordan
  8. I think your last line hits the nail on the head. The Bills (even though they started Allen right in the 1st game after half time) have been very patient with his development and reaping the benefit of it now. That adage about letting something develop cannot be more true here. Kudos to McDermott for that.
  9. I want to figure out how to get Bill Callahan from the Browns...He is the best OL coach in the league and he will make this OL superb
  10. The same here...every time I watch that locker room scene, tears keep rolling down my cheeks...Truly in that 2 seconds it washed away all the bad memories of the past 17 seasons...
  11. First lets win the game against the Falcons. Go Bills !
  12. I think with that kind of talent many excellent coaches will want to be an OC for this team.
  13. All great...first is take care of business against the Falcons and watch Baltimore lose to the Rams. That gets us into the playoffs. Nothing else matters on Sunday
  14. Josh Allen is tied with Montana in 18th place for career QB Rating .. at 92.3
  15. and the tears in his eyes when McDermott hugs him. That is a mark of respect for the player by his HC
  16. But there has been SB that has been won by a yard (Rams over the Titans)
  17. 17 years of frustration and disappointment wiped away by ONE play !!!!
  18. and with a noodle arm that is a disaster. I am sure Beane and McDermott would be aware of the situation and have their options lined up.
  19. The previous two guys who exited the Bills from those position got 8-10M a year from Arizona and Miami. I am not sure why Phillips will not get a bigger deal. Good DTs are at a premium and someone will always overpay like we did with Star, Addison etc/
  20. Edmunds, Epenesa, Ed Oliver, Groot and Boogie need to work out for this teams long term success. That is a ton of draft capital invested that needs to turn into Pro Bowl players. May be it is the coaching that is stopping these men from becoming better players.
  21. Same stage as when we broke our drought !!!!
  22. The Bills have to win a Super Bowl before these veterans walk into the Sunset.
  23. In 2001 in 14 games Tom Brady had 18 TDs/12 INT on the way to winning the SB. Mac Jones has started 15 games for the Patriots in 2021 and has 18 TD/12 INTs in the season.... I believe he has all the tangibles and intangibles to work in the Patriots System to become a fully functional QB
  24. Joe Marino just mentioned in his podcast that next years draft has a ton of good WRs. He mentioned that there are about 17 WRs who could go in the top 100 (first 3 rounds). Hoping we get one of those guys for speed
