Why are we believing that we are playing below our potential? I mean we are playing another NFL team that has players on the field. On each day, the better team wins; sometimes those wins happen due to fluke plays - but that is part of the deal.
The Bills are what they are ; an excellent team with its own flaws....which will limit the team no matter what if the other teams exploit it.
The Dolphins stopped the run and dared Allen to throw against the two best CB in the league...Allen played smart and went to the 3rd option; However, he was limited to now 1/4th of his options (2 WRs blanketed and 1 RB stuffed; leaving either his TE or Slot receiver on 1-on-1 matchup). I don't think you can do better than what Josh Allen did on Sunday. Enjoy the ride...The Bills are playing great.
Josh is our QB and I am very hopeful he will win multiple titles for this team and city. However, let us not take away what Mahomes has done in his first four seasons in the NFL. He is an astounding QB. The Chiefs are losing not because of him.
There are so many things that we can analyze after the game and identify that could have gone right for us to win. The fact that we still had a chance to win the game with 30 seconds to go was good enough. Gone are the days where we sleep walked in the 4th quarter because we had no chance against a GOOD team.
Ravens beat Chargers.....but Ravens have also won too many close games...they are going to lose some of those.
Miami and New England lost.....Jets are on a bye.
Browns lost
Now we have to take care of business on MNF.
And Trent Edwards gets a raw deal...He was much better than many of the folks on that list (that are above him)
There were 17 QBs who started for the Bills between Kelly and Allen
There were 17 years of Playoff drought
Our QB wears the #17
If all are healthy it will be interesting to see who goes on the game day inactive list....Do you insert Feliciano back and send Brown back to Bench or has Brown earned the starting spot? Will be interesting to watch....
I assume it will be Breida, Doyle, Butler, Phillps and ??
I hope and wish it to te the Diggs Show this week. The Bills have been going deep with Sanders and Knox the past three games. I think they change their game plan for Monday night with a heavy dose of Diggs and Beasley.
Bease and Diggs in the middle of the field.
When winning championships in the early days, neither Brady nor Rothlisberger or Eli Manning put up any gaudy stats...they made big play after big play when the game was on the line.
Last year we had to live through the horror of the hair-murray through the Bye week. Hopefully, this years Bye week is a lot more relaxed and less stress
