Let's say we take Mayfield at #7
NastyNateSoldiers replied to Victory Formation's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
As long as there willing to pay to get where we are why not. Also depends on who's on the board at #22 if a player we had rated highly is there we just take him. -
Richie Incognito Retires Via Twitter - Now Confirmed
NastyNateSoldiers replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think he was living up to his draft status his first 2 yrs. Especially in 2016 he was really good . Maybe Castillo doesn't like him much but now that were going bk to power he can slide right bk in at RG -

QB outlooks and Comparisons
NastyNateSoldiers replied to CamboBill's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Looks like u worked very hard on this but comps are pretty outlandish. Darnold upside Luck Lamar upside Vick Rosen = Ryan Mason = Cousins -
Love that it appears we have a strategy...
NastyNateSoldiers replied to Hebert19's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The hiring of Rex killed Whaley. Whaley will get a 2nd chance like Rick Speilman and he'll do a great job with his new team. -
Not to many people mention this but Brady was a game manager for a good 4/5yrs in the beginning of his career. He was carried by the running gm and Defense they had that was allowed to maul wrs on nearly every play. It wasn't until the NFL changed there rules to suit offensive football that Brady started to really put up big numbers. Before that he was putting up average stats. Brady is a product of the system in more ways then one. I'm not trying to take away from his greatness but without the rule changes and the illegal pk/rub routes they ran for nearly 4yrs he wouldn't be half the QB he is without them.

With the 12th Pick Bills select
NastyNateSoldiers replied to USABuffaloFan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Please don't compare Mayfield to Jackson completely different players. I realize u were trying to make a pt but its just not fair to Mayfield he's a top notch passer that's so accurate he hardly misses his target. Btw i got something for your argument. QB'S have passed the ball from shotgun over 80% of the time last yr. -
7 round mock Bills draft - best I have seen!
NastyNateSoldiers replied to mileena's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Sounds like one , lol. Nathan Shepard is a beast though. That's about where he'll go to #65. -
Interesting Trade-Down Scenario
NastyNateSoldiers replied to Domdab99's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I would love if they can trade up swap to 7 or 8 for a 2nd #53 and 3rd next yr . Then turn around and trade our #22 for 33 & 35 from Cleveland. That's leaves us with #7 Mayfield QB #33 Rashaan Evans MLB #35 Sony Michel RB #55 Harrison Phillips DT #65 Mike Gieski TE #96 James Washington WR #121 Dante Pettis WR #166 Shaq Griffen WLB -
I'm not sure if its 2004 but it's definitely not 2011 . Ponder, Locker and Gabbert i had them all as bad prospects. To be honest u can't even compare them at all to this class. First off they didn't even come close to the body of work that these guys have nor do they have the physical traits as far as being pure passers . At the end of the day i do agree that not all of the top 4 will be franchise level QB's. I think 2 maybe 3 are very possible.

20 Year Debate: Carucci in 1998 - Head vs. Arm
NastyNateSoldiers replied to BigBuff423's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I believe this is the gold star of QB debates. The mental part of playing the position in my opinion far outweighs the physical even though u do need to have adequate arm strength to make all the throws. The problem is most of the mental side can't be found during the lead up to the draft. Yes during meetings teams can see if the prospect can absorb plays and break them down on the white board. But i believe the mental goes above and beyond that . Is the mental the "it" factor? I believe it is and this is where that internal clock comes into play having the natural timing, vision & recognition to diagnose everything during a single play. Being able to read a defense pre and post snap and being able to adjust in a split second to find the open wrs. It can not be overstated how important this is. If u look threw out the history of the great QB's u will find they all have the "it" factor and not some amazing super arm . Montana, Brady & Peyton these guys didn't have cannons they had awareness. At the end of the day u need to have both the mental and physical but the mental part far outweighs the physical in my opinion. -
I agree with the premise not all these guys will be great but there has been special yrs like 2004 where 3 out of 3 turned out to be all franchise guys . Losman was a reach that yr shouldn't have gone in the 1st rd. The Bills need to be careful and not buy into the Allen hype he's the trap in this scenario. I wonder how much of the guys on your list where drafted high based on physical tools most if not all those guys bust.

We shouldn't be using statistics from 30yrs ago to base our draft strategy especially since the game has changed drastically since then . Maybe they should do it based on the last 7 yrs . If so i don't have the numbers in front of me but the success rate should go up past 50% . Teams are starting to use these young QBs more and more with elements of the college gm and its making it much easier to transition to the NFL.

Frank Ragnow - Arkansas C - private workout
NastyNateSoldiers replied to PIZ's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I like Ragnow as a prospect also and would love this pk in the 3rd rd but why no love for Ryan Groy on this board he filled in admirably for Wood in 2016 and i believe he'll be a very good player for us this yr. -
Donald Jones to exit 'John Murphy Show'
NastyNateSoldiers replied to ricojes's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Donald is Horrible, Murph Horrible, Tasker is brutally bad . This show needs a whole new cast and while there at it fire Murphy from brosdcasting gms he's lame can't even pretend to be good. Sal and Alexander give them the show or throw in a old school guy like Daryll Talley. -
My Realistic Dream Scenarios
NastyNateSoldiers replied to NastyNateSoldiers's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Your a Bills fan right? I was talking about the Browns . The Browns are very interesting in this convo because they can parlay the 4th overall into a trade with Buffalo in which they can receive multiple pks in return 12, 22, 53 & a 2 next yr. Then they can possibly use some of those pks to trade for OBJ 12, 33 and a 2 next yr . They basically get OBJ and #22 for number 4.
