  1. Id rather have 1 of the 3rd teir guys Chase Daniel's, Derek Anderson, Moore or Henne.
  2. This guy is gonna steal some teams money. I hope it's not us.
  3. 982 yds his rookie yr was very impressive the 2nd yr was even better. It's obvious the injury to his foot has set him bk but at only 24yrs old and a yr removed from injury some team will pay for that potential.
  4. I agree with this one Kyle Shanahan will put him in the Julio role in that offense. If he doesn't land in SF i still see him on any team in the NFC West.
  5. I hope it's McCarron on a Tyrod type deal and we trade up to get either Mayfield or Darnold. Once the QB we select is ready to start in 2019 we can flip McCarron for a couple of pks. But I'm feeling like its gonna be Bridgewater.
  6. I posted about this bout a month ago and u thought the board was getting ready to hang me from a building, lol.
  7. In a yr that Tackle position in general is weak in free agency and the draft the Bills need to realize that a healthy Cordy is good asset to have that's of course if he's truly healthy. I wouldnt accept anything less then a 2 for him. Especially since we only save 3.5 mil if he's traded or released. From the reports that I've read or heard he's healthy now and will be at OTAs. Not many teams have the luxury of 2 LTs on there team i say the Bills should move either Cordy or Dawkins to the right side of the line depending on who's more comfortable making the switch . That move will give us one of the best tackle tandems in the league. The Bills shouldn't be in the business of patching other teams holes on there oline let those teams use there assets via the draft or free agency. The only way we should entertain moving him is if he's used to move up in the draft or to outright land a 2nd and 4th rd pk. Duane Brown had similar injury history plus he's 34yrs old and he was traded for a 2 & 3 i believe. The Bills need to be patient with Cordy at least hold him until the trade deadline next season. I really hope McBeane sees it this way.
  8. Dead money is still valuable cap space.
  9. This would be a horrible move to just cut him after the bonus . We wouldn't save nearly nothing against the cap. If we cut him its definitely before the bonus otherwise its just plain dumb management.
  10. I would rather have #1 Taken Mahomes or Watson and trade bk into the late first for Tre White and still made the playoffs #2 Traded with Hou knowing they would be worse then KC . We would be sitting at #4 right now talking bout who we will get. I realize some here will question if that was possible but answer to that is Hou had to be shopping around to make that trade they just didn't decide while Cleveland was on the clock up make the deal. They most likely had multiple deals in place. Mcd just choose to do business with his buddy Reid and it cost us dearly.
  11. Well that's what happens on these fan boards . Why are u even here? Don't read it . Do yourself a favor and go to another site your wasting your time. Maybe u can go to YouTube and watching cats run around that seems to be popular these days.
  12. Lazy , the guy basically lost his job last season he's trash i wouldn't spend a dime over 3mil to sign him. Let someone else overpay for him.
  13. Your definitely over thinking here. Timing with wrs naw man his clock is broken he sucks . He's a pussycat the only clock he needs to work on is in his head. Mof his best yr was when he needed to compete for the job during camp. Check the facts don't over react. Ok Mr Rhyme or Reason
  14. I wrote what the Eagles do with Foles didn't know i had to specify exactly for u guys to understand. I also wrote possibly Foles. Btw this makes perfect sense signing Bridgewater especially if the Bills want to wait on trading Tyrod until training camp. Bridgewater won't sign a big deal its worth the money if his salary is set a certain way. Once those teir1 guys fall these other QBs gonna be looking for at least a competition for a starting job. I think its very possible we bring in Bridgewater to compete.
  15. 1 week away from free agency and i feel the Bills will not be assertive right off the bat especially when it comes to the QB position. I believe there intentions are to be patient and play the waiting game. The Bills will wait for the big chips to start falling into there places , Cousins, Keenum, McCarron and possibly Foles will land starting roles within the first couple days of free agency. Those are the first teir guys that will command dollars and yrs to sign the Bills won't be interested in any long-term solutions via free agency. I counted 6 teams that definitely need either a long-term solution and or bridge QB . The Bills , Jets, Browns, Broncos, Vikings and Cardinals. 3 or 4 of these 5 tms other then the Bills will land these teir 1 guys depending on what the Eagles will do with Foles. That leaves 2 or 3 teams fighting for 2nd teir or 3rd teir guys. Now keep im mind a couple these teams are primed to take a QB high in the draft. 2nd/3rd Teir QBs these guys will command less money and or less yrs on there contracts. Bridgewater Bradford Chase Daniels McCown Cutler Matt Moore Mike Glennon Derek Anderson Chad Henne Tyrod vs Bridgewater With this strategy the Bills will pay Tyrod the 6mil he's owed so unless someone knocks there socks off with a great offer i don't envision him traded until the very least during training camp . This is where Bridgewater comes into play . The Bills will target and sign Teddy to a 1yr prove it deal with a promise for a open QB competition. Signing Bridgewater at this pt has great value to the Bills they open up competition with Taylor without breaking the bank and keep there options open during the draft. It also keeps the door open for a possible Taylor trade during training camp depending on how Bridgewater, Peterman and the Rookie are looking. McBeane strikes me as a conservative duo and they want to have flexibility and security all the way up into the middle of camp. Tyrod offers the security blanket, Bridgewater offers the upside, Peterman can be fighting for either a starting spot or bkup role and the Rookie will get the time he needs to develop properly and or prove he's ready to go right away. The Bills will attack this plan this offseason even if we don't get Bridgewater i can see them signing Chase Daniels or Bradford to fill the upside competition role for Taylor. This is the way i see it going what u guys think.
  16. I like the trade scenario we are talking bout on this board but that's a interesting pt u make . To me that gives more of a reason to keep Cordy and Dawkins if we don't use them to trade up for QB. Not many teams have that luxury of 2 guys that can play LT at a high level.
  17. The fellas at the Jon Murphy Show are all company line guys that show makes me sick sometimes. Jon, Donald and Chris are brutally bad . Tasker should never ever be allowed on the show again seems like he doesn't even know who the players are half the time. He was talking bout the QBs in the draft then latter admitted he doesn't know much about them. Tasker was a great player i loved him on the field but he should take his job a little more seriously and study.
  18. If this is the price i would do this trade right now. After making the deal u go to the draft with plans to trade bk with Cleveland at #4. With them thinking the Bills will take Darnold the Browns grab him at #1 . Cleveland gives us a 2 & 3 to move up and select Barkley #2 . Bills take Mayfield or Rosen at #4 and now we have 3 2s and 2 3s to fill out the team. Giants- 21,22, Dawkins & 2019 2nd Bills #4 , Browns 2nd-#33 & 3rd-#65 Browns get pks 1 and 2 to draft Barkley and Darnold. I know this is draft day stuff but one can dream .
  19. I think comp pks are better for teams that are settled and have there core guys place. Basically the best teams take the most advantage of this system . The Bills are not in that position to take advantage of this system yet. Being mindful of comp pks is great but there's also a flipside of being mindful of the position u are in to reap the benefits of them. This coming yr even if we are perfect at it the most we will get is 4th rd pk for Gaines and maybe a 6th for Preston. I say we take advantage of free agency this yr and help our team grow with smart savy free agent signings.
  20. Ragnow really good center to. I would love this draft.
  21. I never said i trust these guys just yet .
  22. So overpaying a 30yr old RB on his last legs is a sign in the right direction? I think this front office has a good feel for defensive talent but so far on the offensive side of the ball they have showed that there offensive acumen is lacking at best. From putting Tyrod in the wrong offense to stripping him away of proper weapons and the worst thing putting Tolbert at #2 bk when in his prime he wasn't even thought of as a #2 back i mean it took him 11yrs to be a #2 back, smh. Last but not least passing on Mahomes and Watson was a humongous mistake that we can possibly dreading for yrs to come. Oh yea plus trading up Lame Jones when there was way better Wrs later in the draft. These moves on the offensive side of the ball have proven to be futile at best.
  23. When i hear quality pro i think Tyrod or Fitzpatrick or Matt Schaub even. I don't think franchise QB.
  24. So were striving for quality pro at QB and that's with proper coaching?
  25. What a difference a yr can do he couldn't even be the 3rd best on his team last yr.
