So that means we throwaway money on old man Ivory. UDFA were beating this guy out last yr we definitely can do better.
-
The Bills seem to be a team that has no feel for the draft. This yr is loaded at RB we got other holes to fill and we go sign a 30yr old for guranteed money.
-
Yea with the great QB and Wrs we have here he should see plenty 7 man boxes.
-
Better bk at this stage so we should pay other teams trash 3.5 mil guranteed. We can find much better for cheaper. Obviously McBeane has no clue what offensive talent looks like. I mean these are the guys that made Tolbert a #2 RB . He's never been a #2 in his whole career 12yrs . He's a FB/ Short yardage bk. These types of decisions do not shine a bright light on these guys.
-
People are blind when it comes to McBeane. We made the playoffs with the worst team we had statically since Chan Gailey was here. Now they have earned praise for being mediocre. Btw we lost big time on that Darby deal and the Benjamin deal and the Dareus deal. There paying him like a #2 . Gillislee btw his decision came before he couldn't do anything in New England. He was great for us way better then anyone we had last yr. Please don't bring up age unless your saying Gillislee wasn't old enough but McBeane loves Grandpa backs.
-
He was last yr he lost his job to a UDFA and Yeldon. That makes that scrub what?
-
Really want to compare. U think 4th string bks that are 30yrs old are worth 3mil guranteed. Your boy Beane got fleeced these guys keep proving over and over that he they are horrible evaluators when it comes to offensive Football. Ivory is at best a 3rd string bk at this point in his career.
-
4th string running bk averaging 3.6 yds per carry the last 3yrs gonna be 30yrs old next season. He fits right into the old man bks they love these guys. The worst thing bout this is they didn't believe Gillislee was worth this same money basically.
-
His weaknesses are a major concern most of them have to do with that internal clock that all QBs need the worst thing is u can't teach that.
-
I doubt Beane risks both 1st round picks

Who is this QB u suspect to fall this far ? Lamar is not worth a trade nether is Mason. All the other guys will be gone by 11 to the Dolphins. We also have to worry bout the Cards and Ravens making moves to get a QB. This is the way i see it going. #1 Browns-Barkley #2 Giants-Rosen #3 Colts & Bills - Trade 21,22, #53, Cordy and 2019 2nd. Bills select Sam Darnold #4 Browns- Mayfield #5 Broncos- Allen With Cousins signing with the Vikings this will create a stir at the top QBs will fly off the boards. The Bills find there deal with the Colts this is the sweet spot. The Colts get a franchise caliber LT in Cordy and at 21, 22 they can draft a couple stud defenders. With there early 2nd they can add to there Oline with Isiah Wynn or Will Hernandez. They still got our #2 @53 to even add more talent. The Colts aren't a horrible team they get Luck back and they need to protect him and build there Defense. This trade gets that done. -
Bills need all 8 picks in the draft to get better.

This is exactly what I've been saying plenty of time to fill the holes and plenty other ways to do it via free agency and the rest of the draft and trades . We need to get that franchise building block QB everything else will come afterwards. Weve tried for 20 yrs the build the rest of the team let's try something different this time. -
Bridge QB Reality Check

To be honest i think all those QBs u mentioned have much better teams and there QBs are better in my opinion. Even if we get better it won't be too the degree of where those teams are. -

Good message but in think u meant to say playoff push not run because most of us here know Tyrod can help get u to the Party but he's gonna dance while he's there. -

Wow all the way down to #3 that's your comeback . So he couldn't take advantage of a #3 ranked running gm. Its still the same message. -

4 Round Mock Draft w/trades. NFL.com
NastyNateSoldiers replied to PIZ's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Some people here think holes only entail every position other then QB. DT and LB more important positions definitely. Who's wants a Matt Ryan or Drew Bress when u can have a Star Lotulelei or Luke Kuechly. I mean cmon is this even a debate. Btw i love his mock we come out the draft with Mayfield, Carlton Davis and Frank Ragnow . Sign me up. -

U still trying to debate who's the better QB. Did u see the Rodak stats on Tyrod when he's down by 8 or less in the 4th . Man pretty impressive for mediocre. Tyrod sucks . Btw Bradford didn't have the comfort of the #1 Rushing attack in the NFL during that time period actually for those 2 seasons the Bills were far and away the best rushing team in the NFL. I'd have to think if Bradford had that luxury he would make defenses pay dearly. Tyrod couldn't even take advantage of that by posting the mediocre #s that he did. -
Interesting Tyrod Stat from Mike Rodak

This is what happens when u force a game manager to throw the ball. -

Isn't there a possibility we can still get a comp pk depending on playing time Holmes, Davis and Ducasse had? -
Bridge QB Reality Check

I don't want Bradford for long term deal. Where did u get that from? If we signed him even if it was multiple yrs it would be a easy contract to get out of. I'm thinking a 1yr deal for 10mil and 500k a gm incentive. That can equal out to 18mil for Bradford. Btw i love how u put up the Net yds stat instead just the passing #s considering the number 1 job of a QB is to throw the ball. Do u really think Bradford will get big money deal with alot of guarantee $ ? I think a team would be absolutely insane to do that. People here say how Tyrod led us to the playoffs if that's the case u got to also give him credit for leading us to -57 pt differential. That's worse then the Bears and the Bucs. I tend to look at it a different way i say Tyrod was just a passenger on the bus not the driver. We know what Tyrod is and i truly believe at this pt that he's a waste of time he's not gonna get us to where want to go. Even if he's a bridge i feel like its wasting a yr watching him play and i don't like throwing yrs away. I'd rather give a guy like Bradford a chance while developing my rookie QB. Bradford if healthy is way better QB then the game manager that Tyrod is . I'm willing to roll the dice on Bradford especially since he's healthy now . From the reports by Dr James Andrew's Bradford knees are sound and he's ready to go for OTAs . -

Things that Tyrod supporters don't care for in a QB. Accuracy Vision Timing Anticipation Clutch Gene Things Tyrod fans love Familiarity ( Has friends in Lockeroom ) Doesn't take chances with ball ( low turnover %) Has occasional big play with scrambling His spin move in the pocket . Sometimes he does this with no apparent pressure and ends up taking his eyes off his wrs for nothing. Last but not least his DEEP BALL which last yr went into a coma . We didn't have a pass play for more then 50yds the whole yr. I know some here will blame the wrs but he looked horrible throwing it also. If i missed anything please feel free to add. Wow how did u do that. Matthew Berry is that u ? U Tyrod fans remind me of Lebron fans but the big difference is Lebron is a beast and Tyrod a puppy. -
For Corners its definitely getting up there Revis and Asomugha (excuse my spelling )were in sharp decline at this age as well as others. I realize this is the case and its great if u can take advantage of it but we have way to many holes to sit around and wait for a 4th rder for Gaines.
