  1. Other then the ego thing i agree 1000% with what he said Sammy was a huge reason for there success last yr. The type of attention he got opened things up for everyone else. Also Greg Cosell of NFL films and he studies all the gms player by player said Sammy was wide open a ton of times. But the position he plays the X spot in that offense is not highly targeted . That might explain the 70 targets he got during the season.
  2. Royce Freeman looks really good to. Especially since the draft is weak at Wr.
  3. Ivory was the 4th string running bk for Jacksonville once Yeldon came bk . If he's our 4th or even 3rd I'm cool with this signing.
  4. A 3rd of the NFL don't even have one on there roster u want 2?
  5. I don't understand too we can use that money on another QB or even a starter at another position. Paying that 6mil for a mid rd pk is not good cap management
  6. If the Bills still want this bum we are in bigger trouble then i thought. How boot Gilislee if he gets released? I'd still draft a guy to.
  7. The only Bridge i want mentioned with Tyrod is the Peace Bridge. Lol
  8. I'll take my chances between 2015 & 2016 he played 29gms hopefully we get him to get bk to that form.
  9. In 2016 he had 23TD passes and 5pks. He was definitely on his way last yr before the injury to his knee. He's a much better passer then Tyrod and way better fit in pass heavy Erhardt Perkins system . Btw the Vikings oline was horrible in 2016 and Bradford never played with a bk like Shady . We add a couple of wrs to complement Benjamin and were definitely gonna be putting up major pts on offense.
  10. I'll take the chance with him as my Bridge any day over watching Tyrod for another season. I think the Bills should follow the same plan the Eagles had in 2016 they signed Chase Daniels then moved up in draft for Wentz and already had Bradford via trade from previous season. In our case it would to sign Bradford and either trade up for QB or take one at our spot in the draft . I'd even sign a Derek Anderson or Chad Henne to add to depth. Bradford Anderson Rookie Peterman If Peterman is looking good in camp u can trade the veteran bkup for a conditional pk or a late rder like we did with Cassell a few yrs bk.
  11. I beg to differ over the last 2yrs Bradford has played he's been a very good top 12 QB and if it wasn't for his injuries he would not be available. 2017- 32-43 for 75% completion 2015/16 over 29 gms played 68.3 Adjusted comp % was 80.3 Deep passer rating 121.5 Passer rating under pressure 87.7 He also had nearly a 3 to 1 td/to ratio so he protects the ball very well. Tyrod can only dream of putting up these types of #s . My point is I'd rather take a chance of catching lighting in bottle with Bradford then go with a bottom 3 passer like Tyrod. We already seen the best Tyrod has to offer and it ain't much 3pts in a playoff gm when it matters most. I'm sorry i can't watch him anymore.
  12. What makes u think Bradford will be costly. What team is crazy enough to give a long term deal when there's other options available? Bradford, Keenum, McCarron, Bridgewater and Tyrod if we do the right thing and wash our hands with him. These 5 QBs will all sign either a Glennon/ Bortles type deal with multiple yrs and less Gurantee Dollars with multiple outs or they will sign 1yr prove it deals. No team will commit to them without them proving it first. Buffalo will get a QB easily if they choose to dump Tyrod in the trash where he belongs. Why because we are not sitting at the top of the draft in position to draft one of these elite prospects at the QB position. These players will take into account that the Browns, Broncos & Jets will be drafting QBs very high or outright signing there answer in Cousins. Arz Buff & Minn are better options because they will probably be using mid to late first or 2/3 to draft there QBs so there's no gurantee or pressure to play those guys right away . The chances of a Allen, Lamar or even Rudolph even developing into franchise QBs are slim to none as well as the 2nd and 3rd prospects. So there's a better chance these Bridge Types can possibly stick for the longterm in Buffalo. Especially the likes of McCarron and Bridgewater.
  13. I think u said alot of things here but in all honesty i don't agree with u. #1- Bradford will definitely entertain the possibility of playing in Buffalo. There's only 6 teams that will be either looking for a starter/bridge guy. Cousins the only starter of this bunch that won't be essentially a bridge. The rest of them are McCarron, Keenum, Bridgewater, Bradford & Taylor those 5 are bridge starters at this point. None of them will sign huge contracts unless teams are protecting themselves with easy outs. All of them are just looking to start somewhere to prove they are long term solutions. #2 - No team will give Bradford a long term deal with guranteed money. That's absolutely insane. Look for him to sign either a 1 yr deal for 10mil guranteed with incentives for each gm he starts probably around 500k per gm that equals out to 18mil if he plays a full season. If he signs a multi year deal look for it to have easy outs and less Gurantee money so teams won't kill there cap if they have to cut him. #3- The Bills are a great destination to come to play . Why because we are not sitting at the top of the draft in a position to land 1 of the big 4 QBs in this draft. Us as well as Arz might be a spot where one of these guys can stick longterm or to play at least 2yrs depending on who we draft at QB if we stay at 21-22 . Rudolph, Lamar or even Allen might need multiple yrs on the bench to develop into starter caliber players if not at all. So yes QBs will be watching our situation closely. Btw the weather thing is over blown we only play a couple gms a yr in inclement conditions. #4- I got a question for u is Tyrod the driver of the bus or just a passenger? I believe he's a passenger. He's not the main reason we made the playoffs nowhere near it. Actually the turnovers our D created was the biggest advantage we had just look at the numbers when we forced 1 or less turnvers per gm we averaged 12.9 pts per gm 2 or more 25. #4 - Familiarity this one makes me laugh. Familiarity with mediocrity is what i call it. Tyrod sucks he can't do QB type things well like lead his Wrs open, give them opportunity for Yac, doesn't have anticipation skills or Vision, isn't accurate from the pocket and his timing is horrible. He doesn't check the boxes for a QB unless he's running a gimmick style offense. #5 - Again Tyrod where in your top 5 reasons for keeping him did u mention anything that has to do with actually playing QB. I see a bunch of intangibles but no ability. At the end of the day we know who Tyrod is and we have been down this road before I'd rather turn the page and give someone else a chance. I'm tired of finishing in the bottom 3 in passing. Maybe with one of those other QBs available we can move up to 20th overall am i asking for to much? Lol.
  14. Please no gimmick QBs . We need a true Pocket passer . But i can see this happening definitely wouldn't make me happy though.
  15. Tyrod can't be a good fit for Daboll system. Daboll runs the Perkins Erhardt system and if his variations of the system is anywhere near how the Pats run it Tyrod will not fit. I would love to see Bradford as our Bridge QB i think he fits like a glove. Maybe just maybe he can stay healthy in this scheme considering there's a ton of quick pass plays on pick & rub routes . We keep our tackles Cordy moves to the right that would give Bradford the protection he needs.
  16. U definitely need to build a team full of dogs. But u also need a mixture of top level talent.
  17. I think best case is a 4th. Still shouldn't pay 6mil for that either. If they trade him before they have to take the option that would be great.
  18. How good is Tyrod Taylor u are definitely overrating that bum. He's a front runner when things are going good he shows up when we get behind by 3pts basically mail it in. At the end of the day Taylor doesn't even get close to checking the boxes as far as playing the position. No anticipation, No vision, No Timing, inaccurate, doesn't lead Wrs open, doesn't give them a chance to gain yds after the catch. U catch my drift. Yes he's the QB that helped end the drought by no means did he carry this team to the playoffs. He's a 3rd teir starter. We need to move on and stop wasting our time. So were gonna pay 6mil to acquire a 7th? That's what i call horrible management of your cap. We can get a quality starter with that 6mil.
  19. Our QB coach is a career 35yrs wrs coach. So maybe Tyrod will be his QB coach it seems like he's more qualified at this pt. Btw the bridge QB is the mentor and will not teach him how to play QB but give him advise to what he does in certain situations. So tuck and run baby don't throw into windows and be ultra conservative. Make sure we turn it over the natural way by punting that's what i would do. That's the Tyrod way.
  20. This is just great Tyrod will be the mentor for our next QB which will most likely be a pocket passer. Tyrod the mentor of passers. Lol. Just great I'm so excited. Maybe he can teach him to run after 1 read. Tuck and run make sure u don't throw the ball into windows u don't want to throw pks make sure u punt that's much better for us.
  21. Paying 6mil to get a 5th rd pk isn't that cost prohibitive.
  22. I'm also on board with Mayfield but wouldn't mind Darnold either via the draft and via free agency Kirk Cousins. When it comes to trading up McBeane needs to be able to answer one question. Do they have a team that can win a Superbowl next yr even if they use those 5pks on positional players ? If there honest with themselves the answer is no they can't. So with that being said trade up for the QB that u project as a high ceiling franchise guy. We can use the rest of our pks plus free agency to fill the holes these next 2 yrs. During these 2yrs our young QB will get the experience and development he needs to grow into a true franchise QB. With this plan the Bills should be ready to contend for the AFC East if not the Superbowl by 2020 . I realize some here will say what if that QB is a bust? Well i don't believe McBeane plans for failure and if they do they should step down immediately. If u have the conviction follow threw and take a calculated risk .
  23. I guess McBeane was being optimistic when they said he was looking really good for OTAs and that he's working very hard to get bk. We can't keep creating more holes to fill for this team.
  24. So with holes at QB, RB, Wr, DLINE, LBs, and Corner u want to throw multiple assets at the oline? Btw Cordy will be healthy 100% ready for ota . Players come bk from injury all the time its not a miracle we are looking for here. Do u realize we have 1 corner on our roster as of right now with NFL experience? We have 2 in total Tre and Breon Borders. We got major holes i think it would be in the Bills best interest to help the oline starting in 2019. We have to see what we have in Miller he's still young and played well as a rookie in 2015 and even better in 2016 . Let the kid develop properly . Groy the same with him. If anything they can find a guard after june 1st cuts for cheap to throw in the rotation.
