  2. Wait....That's not Karlos?
  3. This thread is depressing. All of your emotions are ugly and weak.
  4. Its all smoke and mirrors with him. Nothing is as it seems.
  5. How is another losing season and hiring a new coach, with a new scheme, requiring new personnel a success? How many more threads on this supposed ultimatum do we need? This is the worst of the bunch.
  6. If you've got the cash, get a chamber sealer. They're meant to handle wet foods and even liquids. You can sous vide soup or braise in the bag.
  7. Diminutive speedsters really bring out the worst in us.
  8. The mitochondria is the powerhouse of the cell.
  9. I can understand that. I always thought that sentiment was pretty extreme. In my opinion, if you eat your steak any more done than medium rare then you really don't know what steak is.
  10. First, I disagree. Second, its about numbers. Most NFL defenses are built to counter a traditional offense with a barely mobile QB which allows them to effectively play 11 v 10. When you have to commit a player to defend against the threat of a QB run, then you have one less guy in coverage. If Sammy commands your #1 CB and a safety over the top, and Tyrod gets his own man then either someone is left totally uncovered or you have one less guy near the line to play the run. Pick your poison. Since Tyrod demonstrated his ability to connect on the home run ball consistently and proved to be very dangerous when he pulls the ball down and runs, Sammy has proven to be almost un-coverable, and Shady is still as dangerous as ever, I think defensive coordinators are afraid of us and our offense's big play potential.
  11. Tournedos at the Inn on Broadway serves dry age. Bone in ribeye is the way to go. I recently got an Anova and have been doing sous vide steak. I seal my steaks with a pat of butter in the bag, cook 1 hour at 123 - 125 and then finish in cast iron. I just wish I could get the sear I want in an apartment without setting off every smoke detector in the building. Last night I ate sous vide 65 degree eggs for the hell of it. Best kitchen gadget I own.
  12. Would you let her use your shower?
  13. I tend to agree but steakhouse sells. I can't even count the number of high end steakhouse concepts in Houston and there seem to be more opening regularly. There's no shortage of demand for steak.
  14. Are there really enough players on the field to take away two sidelines, keep Sammy contained, and still have personnel to keep a spy on Tyrod to limit the run? I'm not an expert on the X's and O's and but that seems like a daunting task and one which would present favorable matchups for our RBs.
  15. One would hope that all players who win the job represent upgrades over those they beat.
  16. It least its an objective and quantifiable method that leads to consistent and repeatable results.
  17. Unless they're white or old or old and white.
  18. @BostonHerald 3m Tom Brady taken into custody this morning. No details at this time. Whoa! Coincidence??
  19. My cat's breath smells like cat food.
  20. Pittsburgh has been the better team this series as demonstrated by their 3-1 lead, but game 3 was ALL San Jose. They couldn't buy a goal that game, but they clearly outplayed Picksburgh.
  21. Most of the fans in this thread were playing "who's got sand in their vagina?" again. It was a quick game. Almost as quick as that game of "who hasn't watched much football and is nearly incapable of rational thought?" that we played in the last thread you started.
  22. Parents, please talk to your kids about rap music before Doug Marrone does.
  23. I don't get the hate at this point. At the time, yes, I agreed with most fans and had him as public enemy #1 wanted dead or alive, but people lose track of the fact that its his life. Its now or never. Hes not going to live forever, so you have to seize the opportunity. Lucky for us, El Pegual's bid was a runaway and Jon Bovi's once promising opportunity proved to be slippery when wet. In the end, Bovine Jovi had to take some bad medicine as Pegula snatched the team in a blaze of glory. Needless to say, that experience was no bed of roses. I know you're all passionate fans, but some of you give love for the team a bad name.
  24. Does anybody else remember how ineffective our run game was when Shady was out? See the Giants, Titans, and last Jets games (ignore the Dallas game as its highly inconvenient to the argument I'm advancing). Gillislee also averaged 5.7 ypc and chipped in 3 TDs in half as many carries. I think its pretty telling that both our 2nd and 3rd string RBs put up very strong numbers (nearly identical) in the change of pace spot while both generally underperformed their season averages in games that Shady missed (again, ignore Dallas on the grounds of inconvenience).
