Chris Hogan visiting Patriots-Signs $12M offer sheet
Jauronimo replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Are you really trying to tell me, that in this day in age, with this country's checkered past and legacy of inequality, only a generation removed from Jim Crow and segregation, with a black president currently sitting in the office, and considering how far we've come and how far we still have to go, that you wouldn't notice an all black hockey team? Bull#$^%!!! Don't be so sure. Brady is already praising Hogan and talking up how he fits in their offense. "Chris brings a lot to the table. They don't call him 9-11 for nothing. Its just really great not to be the whitest guy on the team anymore. I've been wanting to say this so long and now..screw it, fo shizzle! Thanks, Chris!" -
@MikeRedact 4m Patriots' GM reaches out to Aaron Kampman and Brandon Stokely as team looks to get older and whiter.

Florio has lost his mind with tweet about Taylor/Kap

He wears Phins gear just for the sake of fashion. Wrong on so many levels. -
I watched the clip and I'm still under the assumption that its another gug, boyst, and fergy thread. Imagine my confusion when you're telling me its not.

I could not disagree more. I liked the second maybe as much as the first but the third was a total abortion.

Why? He throws accurately and his decision making, if anything, is conservative. I would expect his completion rate to take a hit and naturally interceptions rise with more attempts, but I don't know why INTs would sky rocket. -

@MikeRedact 3m Patriots get creative with Chris Hogan's contract. $4 million roster bonus paid entirely in store credit at the Gap and Vineyard Vines. #PatsKnowsWhatWhitesWant -

Might have some flaws? Kaepernick was a deer in the headlights last year. He looked lost and confused and was totally ineffective on his way to riding the bench in favor of Blaine "how's my hair look" Gabbert. What does Kaepernick consistently do well? Kaep's best season, 2013, looks a lot like Taylor's first year as a starter. Given the trajectories of the two players and their current salaries, yes, its nucking futs to pay more for the same or less. -

I'm not convinced that the Roman connection is even accurate. Kaep is Harbaugh's guy. I haven't read anything that gave me the impression that Roman and Kaep have much of a relationship. -
Jealousy, if I've ever seen it.

Last NFL Player With Whom to Be Stuck in an Elevator
Jauronimo replied to Gugny's topic in Off the Wall Archives
Leodis and Whitner. I don't think Leo would find my references to his lawn being defaced nearly as funny as I do. Nor do I think he'd be amused by wish to see him compete with other deep thinkers in a spelling bee. Whitner has very thin skin so I can't imagine he'd appreciate word play which compares him to ze Fuhrer, and I really don't think he'd agree with my opinion that he be ground into meat to feed the players that are worth a damn. -
I guess somebody has to be that guy, so.... I like Myers work more. I'll take the few years where he did Wayne's World, So I Married An Axe Murdered, the first Austin Powers over Martin's whole body of work. Planes, Trains and Automobiles is the only Martin movie that I like, and John Candy carries that movie. I will never understand the appeal of Three Amigos or The Jerk. Sure, Myers is to blame for Austin Powers 3 and the Love Guru, but Steve made 15 movies with Queen Latifah so I call it a wash in the unforgivable crap department.

Philly reporter takes shots at Buffalo
Jauronimo replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The most offensive part of the article is its utter lack of anything even resembling humor or originality. Its such a safe joke. Its been done hundreds of times. Theres no outrage or uproar. We can basically count on a handful of these articles every offseason. If you're going rehash the tired narrative that no one wants to play in Buffalo, bring a new angle. At the very least, be funny. I can't wait for next week's article about how Nickleback sucks or millenials are whiners. Real cutting edge material. So edgy. -

They should shorten NFL games.

Innings are stupid. The cricket model is best. One team plays offense for three days and then the other team plays offense for three days and the highest score at the end of a fortnight wins the match. Now the classic format may be ill suited to American football but if it were condensed into four 15 minute periods then it just might work. -

Brady only throws to Edelman, Gronk, and whichever RB is in the game that week. Amendola has been largely invisible in that offense. Dobson, Kenbrell Thompkins, Wright, Chandler, were invisible in that offense. I like Hogan, I just don't expect him to develop the chemistry with Brady that will lead to significant targets. First time he drops a ball or tries to cut back for more yards and falls short of the sticks on 3rd down and its over for him. -
PTR is having his own conversation. It seems to be going well too. I had wings at Buffalo Wild Wings not long ago because I'm a moron and was starving. I'd never been there but I figured if 100 Texans were shoving these things down their gullets in a city where theres plenty of great eats, how bad could these things be? Four of the 10 or how ever many come in a Large had little feathers stuck to them. Didn't touch them. The others I did consume, to my shame. Best $33 I ever spent.

Dude had torn ligaments in his wrist. He had to do everything lefty which clearly was leaving him frustrated and dissatisfied. At the line, he just couldn't get off. You could tell he hadn't gotten a clean release in weeks. That would make anyone nervous, jittery, and prone to drops.
