  1. Confirmed! http://forums.twobillsdrive.com/topic/185783-did-zach-brown-sign/
  2. any updates on this?
  3. Secure a dryer sheet over your nose with a common clothespin.
  4. There were many other issues with NFL Europe: 1. Fans never embraced NFL Europe, either here or abroad. 2. Most of the eligible players don't know where Europe is, and instead reported to small cities across the U.S. with the same names. James Harrison famously took the bus to London Massachusetts to report for the Monarchs. He was not alone. 3. Culture shock. Much like Roscoe Parrish refusing to get off the plane because of snow on the ground, mayonnaise on fries and mimes alienated many players. 4. Difficulty in transitioning to European football rules proved too much for many players, especially not being able to use your hands. 5. The French.
  5. You should buy a canary. You might have the black lung.
  6. That should probably reduce his jail sentence to a maximum of 5 years and as few as 3. Two with good behavior.
  7. Yes, Taylor can win a super bowl behind a dominant defense like Manning just did. How many more times must it happen before you can accept it? That wouldn't have been relevant, according to the Cat.
  8. When that Cuse run started, I think everyone in the building had that "here we go again" feeling. There was a lot of orange in the building and the stadium was rocking. The UNC fans were awfully quiet for a bit.
  9. They haven't lost a game that I've watched all year.
  10. Not sure how much more plainly I can state it. 25% of the last 16 super bowls were won by defense in spite of subpar QB play. Yet you claim having the 1st, 15th, or 32nd ranked D is irrelevant. It was a flippant and stupid statement on page 1 and nothing has changed since.
  11. Yes, lets. Does Roethlisberger get a pass as a rookie just because he eventually developed into an elite QB? Not sure why Johnson gets a pass.
  12. By your measure of subpar QB play then lets include Roethlisberger 2004, Dilfer 2001, Johnson 2003, Peyton 2016. All of those teams won in spite of QB play. 4 out of 16 sounds a lot like 1/4 of the time, which sound like an exception so large that the rule needs re-examining. But you make a great point. Why even concern ourselves with half of the game of football? Its all about having a top ten-ish QB (as measure by frequency and anecdotal timing of 3 and outs, ignoring all other statistics). Once you get yourself an Eli or a Flacco, defense is irrelevant. It was Eli's clutch throws that slowed down the game's most prolific offense and Flacco's haircut that stumped the Pats.
  13. Yes, I'll be there. My friend is a Cuse alum and had the inside track on a great ticket deal. Tickets in the 100 level for the final 4 and championship which includes a pass to the Cuse the tailgate before the game. I'm pumped.
  14. Keep experimenting on yourself and you'll go blind.
  15. No. Defense is utterly irrelevant. 1st, 15th, 32nd, who cares? The outcome is the same unless your QB is top 5 and you're a preseason super bowl darling.
  16. I bet you smell like church.
  17. So you're in favor of Buffalo issuing bad contracts? I guess I'm just crazy for wanting to see a winning team and professional franchise.
  18. What if I wasn't the eggman or the walrus? There'd be few reasons to kooo kooo kachoo. What if bird wasn't the word? Incomprehensible. What if dad had a boy named Stew?
  19. No, I do not see any inherent contradiction or weakness in both parties looking out for themselves. Teams are wary of chronic knee injuries and perform physicals. Players are wary of injury and train, seek physical therapy. Whats the difference?
  20. Yes, Chris Brown is a talentless hack but Ragland is no better. After a decade of the journalistic equivalent of washing the Red Sox and Celtics balls and doing the Patriots bidding, I want nothing to do with that Boston apologist. He writes for the illiterate. Our own Ryan L Billz doesn't read at all but never missed the latest Ragland. There's a reason ESPN fired his sorry ass. He sucks.
  21. You are highly confused. Probably because you have a tendonous grasp on the English language. The term "mutually exclusive" exudes you. Testing players after you've signed them does nothing to mitigate the franchise's risk. No one is arguing that testing players before signing them is an alternative to regular testing. At current, there is no testing. So any testing is an improvement. Ejections are reactionary (i.e., after the damage has been done). There is no reason to believe that ejecting players and taking food out of their mouths will curb the spread of CTE. Try harder.
  22. What if Mick Jagger had got some satisfaction?
  23. I hope you're right. I really don't want to watch Cuse get smoked after shelling out a couple hundred bucks.
  24. I'll have to take your word for it. February 2015 was absurd. I ain't ever comin back. We had a 55 degree rainy day once here in Houston. It was a light jacket for a month winter. I wore a hat once or twice.
  25. I'll take Houston summer not to deal with WNY winter again.
