  1. I agree, I’ve been suggesting that was the case the past few weeks. That’s why I was against trading 2025 picks to move up this year. The roster is another off-season away from being very good again (of course, just my $0.02 worth).
  2. What does Rice solve on this roster? He isn’t a fast deep threat and would mainly compete with Shorter for 1 spot - best ST wins that duel.
  3. Interesting thought, but how do they fit a vet receiver under the cap this season?
  4. If this was in regards to not taking Brendan Rice, I am happy getting next year’s 4th instead of Rice.
  5. Traded for Bears 4th next year - excellent deal!
  6. Let’s just get 4 of them this round!
  7. I am a little surprised that that Austin Booker is still available. Very small sample size, but promising ability.
  8. Oops, missed that. I’m happy they won’t get him!
  9. I think it will be Trotter (LB) or a DB like Abrams-Drane or (gasp) Kinchens. To be clear, I am not hoping for Kinchens but S is a need and their DB coach knows him.
  10. That goes waaay back! I remember him.
  11. Maybe nobody wants the Bills 5th round picks.
  12. There are none that are going to make a difference except maybe small slot guy like Malik Washington.
  13. I’m guessing Jeremiah Trotter or Audric Estime
  14. That’s right that it’s a steep price. I am very pleased that the Bills’ have resisted the temptation to trade 2025 picks.
  15. I am guessing Miami traded up for Jalyn Wright from Tenn - they love speed.
  16. I’ve heard rumors of bad interviews, but I think it’s also because he is light and doesn’t run a lot of routes. I read an anonymous scout who compared him the Jalen Hyatt, but slightly less explosive.
  17. I think 1 or more of those 5ths will be used to move up in the 4th. 128 and the two late 5ths should get them first pick in terms of value. 128 plus 1 late 5th should get them to top 1/2 of the 4th. I don’t know who is available worth trading up for, though.
  18. You’re right, but I will say that I was pretty public in my dislike of Franklin.
  19. They do need speed and there isn’t a lot left unless they want to take a chance on Franklin or Walker. I’m not enamored with them, but in round 4 they are at least fast with some chance.
  20. I hope that’s right. I’m rooting for him in spite of my critical posts about him. Heck, I hope he becomes one of my favorite players.
  21. That’s a fair and balanced position. I was very disappointed last night in the pick. Not because the kid is an absolute zero as a player (he isn’t), but because at pick 33 I would have liked to get a player who has more quickness and route running skill. I wasn’t crazy about any of the WR after the big 3 and Thomas, but for sure I would have preferred Legette to Coleman. Coleman is young and sounds like a great kid and hard worker. He has great overall athletic ability and size, but I really worry about his ability to get open. In spite of my posts expressing disappointment, I am rooting for him to do great things. I just don’t know how high his ceiling is - my guess is Gabe Davis with much better hands and more flexibility/smoothness. If he can become a better route runner he may do better than that.
