Hes allegedly missed multiple flights to team visits and had an altercation in philly, plus fired his agent and has a mystery story here.... I think he might not be planning two moves ahead with his actions

I suspect that in the list of potential culprits that a team is probably behind 1) peer wanting to move up 2) guy wanting clicks 3) nemesis getting revenge

That was my impression of him and why I was asking about everyone going straight to KW for a comparison. Both white, hardworking and humble but on the field it seems there’s a difference in play with strength/leverage vs quickness/agility. That’s not to say either guy sucks at the other skill set but that they seem more like complimentary skill sets than duplicating the same.

On the spectrum allen is about middle of the pack? even slow guys can take a few steps in the pocket. I don’t envision Allen’s ability to run changing defensive game plans considerably. He will avoid some sacks and create some time here and there which is great but vs a relatively non athletic guy pocket presence will bes bigger issue than 40 time.

But we really nailed down depth at rb! Jokes aside, every reason to be skeptical of the kid but he checks a ton of boxes and if in 2 years we have to move on it’s not the end of the world

Especially with the pieces to keep him clean! Man, kids a beast and seems everything McD would want in that locker room. Everyones a long shot today, I’d consider him low risk and very high reward at this point. Worst case is a special teams demon.

Shuttles had drew at 4.5 and allen at 4.4... Considering how the game has changed, that’s probably not as big a gap once you normalize for how much faster everyone is. i dont think it’s some perfect comparison and allen is definitely quicker but nowhere near as absurd as some will portray and if allen retires with 4 probowls and a ring he will be a home run for us.

Id doubt he literally put fingers in his ears and refused to hear offers but sounds like it’d take a massive deal and if reports were true that we wouldn’t include the other first.... probably weren’t a ton of monster deals

Well, honestly, yea... it’s cool he has a monster arm but that highlight - as fun as it is- probably is as much of a red flag as a positive. Making that throw as rare as possible in his nfl game will be a goal. Thats the thing in these settings- we always see the offseason message board posts of “with another year he will be much better” but plenty of guys dont take regular strides forward like we assume. Fingers crossed he does
